Lovely pool area and food at the pool bar. Location is great for the town

Aircon in one of our rooms didn’t work and clearly hadn’t for some time as room had a very musty smell. Reported to reception at breakfast time the next morning, but they really didn’t show any concern or offer any remediation. Nothing had changed by the time we checked out at midday.

Proximity to the beach & restaurants. Great fluffy towels, nice shower. Great terrace.

Lots of doors slamming up and down the hall. You cannot control your ac & must call down to ask for them to change it to be colder. It was this way in Barcelona as well. So perhaps a Spain thing?

The pool was a bit cold for the time of year we visited but everything else about this hotel was lovely!

The room had a good size and staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was terrible. Scrambled eggs were very unappetising. Tortilla was salty. Bacon was mainly fat and dripping with grease. On the day of my arrival I was sold the only steak left as the hotel was due to close for the end of the season three days later. There was nothing left in the hotel. They did not even have a snack machine. Coming back late from an event in my last night I was advised to go out to a restaurant on my own if I wanted to eat anything. The hotel closed on the day of my departure. When I asked upon arrival about a late check out, it was suggested that it should be ok but I needed to confirm the night before. When I did that I was told I could not even leave my luggage in the hotel until my flight as the entire hotel was closing at 3pm. So I had to spend five hours at the small regional airport with no facilities.

It was clean and close to beach and bus station.

The only thing I didn’t like was the towels. They were clean but they smelled like food which was unpleasant.

Superb breakfast with lovely fresh productsAnd everything anyone could want. Comfortable room with super bed and great bathroom products. Especially liked the toothbrushes as we had forgotten to bring any.

Nice atmosphere, quality furniture and goods, friendly staff, flexible with room changing, good location. very good value.

Rooms were on the small side

Elegant interior design. Clean. Friendly staff. Mid season parking is for free on the street.

Very nicely and newly remodelled with a clean aesthetic. Staff were attentive and kind- the food and drinks were well prepared. The pool was calm and relazing. The premises felt upscale.

The pool was not heated so, unfortunately, we couldnt go in because the water was very cold. We went during low season, but I could imagine there would be a lack of privacy on the balconies facing the pool during high season.

Not enough sunbeds for the amount of people. Not told about pool towels at check in so had to then queue again for 15 mins as very busy

The air conditioning! We had read a few reviews and the first 2 nights were fine but the last night was 26 degrees….the whole floor (33 outside). It was awful. I had asked the reception when I checked in who said in a bit of a tone - “of course we have air conditioning, it’s a 4 star hotel”. For the price, you should be able to control your own temperature.

Location in the city center, close to restaurants , shops and 2 mins from the beach. Boutique hotel. Super service. I could check-in at 11.00 instead of 15.00. Property is super.

Very new and modern hotel. Great location in the centre of town and near the bus station (we travelled from Girona by bus) and just round the corner from shops and restaurants and five mins walk from the main beach. Hotel was well-shielded from the noise. Lovely rooms, with a small fridge, and bathrooms. Nice pool area with herb gardens. The person who checked us in initially was very nice and cleaning staff did a very good job.

Just some small things - given that it is a 4* hotel - such as the fire alarm going off several times in the morning which was annoying. The pool is small if you actually want to swim and some guests reserved multiple sun loungers with their towels which isn't allowed. Cost of breakfast is pricey at €18pp even if it is all you can eat and adds quite a bit to the total cost when you're staying 5 nights (and given that you can get a tasty sandwich and good coffee in local cafes for ~€7). Also, the coffee they provided in our room during the stay was only decaf (think they ran out of normal coffee as the cleaning carts only had decaf too) and they only give 2 sachets a day which is a bit stingy imho. A welcome bottle of water in the fridge might have been nice too! Finally, as other reviews have mentioned, the air-conditioning min temp is set to 22°C which was fine for us but if there was a heatwave this may be too high.

The hotel is very new and well decorated. The terrace and pool are great, like an oasis. They’re surrounded by slightly fragrant greenery, which was very relaxing. Our room (Standard) was a little small and with no views, but we had absolutely no noise and the AC worked perfectly.

If you’re not a smoker, you’ll struggle to enjoy the outdoor space. Guest smoked freely from the balconies and in the pool area, even in the bar/restaurant, which soured our time there. There should be a very strict non-smoking policy. Also, the service at the pool bar was messy, we had to wait an hour for the food. No problem with the coffees though.
