Cozy and relaxing, we had a wonderful stay.The seclusion is terrific, however You definitely need a car to get there and get around to nearby attractions (downtown Palamos is a very easy 10-minutes drive).The in-house restaurant is absolutely fantastic!

Although we knew in advance it wasn’t, the only suggestion that could make the hotel better would be if the pool was heated.

The Hotel is beautiful - expertly styled and looked after with modern furnishings and finishes. A perfect blend of rural charm and contemporary style.The breakfast (included in room rate) was excellent. Great selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit, nuts, yoghurts and pastries. Fresh orange juice was fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. The option of cooked eggs and bacon a bonus.We ate in the small but busy restaurant on two occasions. Both meals were very good and top-notch local wine to go with the meal.The staff are fantastic. Everyone is so helpful and will seemingly go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one.The swimming pool is clean and the whole pool area is quiet and relaxing. Just the sounds of nearby rural life as the backdrop. Also, the garden bar is a great idea!We had a massage with Jana (?) while we were there. It was great, the hour went too quick for me though - could have stayed there all day!

There is nothing about the Hotel, its facilities or staff that are a negative for me. The only thing I would point out is the location. I'd assume anyone booking at May del Sol will already have realised that it is not in the beating heart of some swanky resort and this is the very reason we chose it. However, I would say a car is highly recommended if you stay for a week. Whilst we love walking there are no amenities in Vall-Llobrega itself and a half hour walk to the nearest store is a bit of a pain. Not a game changer by any means and not the Hotels fault - this is a rural setting and that's what you go here for.

It is a beautiful hotel. Very boutique feel. The pool is beautiful, it's very quiet - and the breakfast is fantastic. The staff are lovely and very friendly. You need a car to get to the hotel, BUT its perfect location to reach all of the best beaches and small towns with short drives of anywhere from 10-30 mins. For me and my partner it was perfect.

Fantastic place to relax. Nice swimming pool and rooms. Very kind staff. The dinners in the garden were very romantic.

Pool was fabulous although shame hours for using it were limited.. ie be nice to have a swim before breakfast but not allowed until 10am which is very late.

We loved it here! We came from busy Barcelona, so this was a perfect quiet place to end our vacation. Lovely staff, personal approach. The rooms are nice. At the swimming pool they have a fridge where you can get your drinks and you write down what you took. If you want wine or prosecco, you can ask inside. On some days they opened a cocktail bar by the pool which we loved! Breakfast was also really nice.

Be sure to not leave any food in the room as there a lot of ants.

It is a beautiful place to unwind, with very kind staff. The pool area is lovely. Breakfast is lovely. Would recommend for a relaxing stay!

The place is wonderful, very calm and close to the sea and Palamós. Very nice place to spend holidays surrounded by trees in the countryside.Nice swimming pool and breakfast.

The clean and very comfy room was a highlight of my visit—peaceful and beautiful common areas. The combination of friendly staff, a clean environment, and a very comfy room made my experience exceptional.

My wife is vegan and there weren’t any options for her at the restaurant, other than that they were faultless!

We loved everything about this property. The setting is superb, amongst lavender and a nearby vineyard. The pool is a good size and offers an abundance of loungers and umbrellas. The honesty bar is set a short distance from the pool and offers comfortable covered-seating. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea bar, in the reception area. Breakfast selection was vast and delicious. They served the best omelette that we've ever had. We highly recommend having dinner. The people that work here are fabulous. They really make your stay feel exceptional.

No options for dinner if you did not reserve prior for a spot. Hard to find restaurants near by in the town. Our dinner we had cereal and milk after we begged the staff for food because we had arrived late from our day activity and had not reserved for the hotel dinner. The staff suggested we could go to the town but all (three restaurants) where closed. The manager told us we had no food available for us and that he could not even give us some bread and cheese. My wife requested some cereal and milk and that is what we ate

The place is nice and quiet.Breakfast is ok, nothing to write home about.

There is nothing to eat nearby and the hotel itself doesn’t offer room service, the restaurant was fully booked, so we were stuck.The air condition hardly worked, the child bed wasn’t comfortable at all. The curtains didn’t block the sun and it was impossible to sleep late.The high price doesn’t suite such conditions.
