    Pros +

    • Highly recommended. All the staff are very friendly and helped us with everything. The rooftop view is amazing. Breakfast is really, really good. 100% recommended.
    • We really enjoyed castle cave! We stayed in the double room with the balcony - the balcony had great views of the city. The rooftop terrace also had a nice view of the balloons. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! It’s in a good location, very lively part of town.
    • The location was perfect for viewing the hot air balloons. There were a few decks to choose from. Staying in a cave feels cool and a neat experience.

    Cons -

    • Directly below the hotel are two restaurants. They play music all night, which we are used to when you stay in the city, be forewarned. One of the restaurants burned firewood in multiple open pits all evening which unfortunately smoked out our room. We could not leave our door to the balcony open. Daily cleaning was good however a deep clean is needed. There is a layer of dust months deep in our bathroom area. Hotel reception can arrange transportation but ends up pocketing half the fare and not paying the driver fairly.
    • Room, toilet, staff. My main reason for choosing this hotel was early check-in since my flight was early in the morning. Despite requesting for it, they didn't do anything to accommodate us. While we were waiting they did not even offer tea/coffee or even water. The furniture was old, mattress was uneven, the room had a constant bad smell, toilet was ugly and stinky. To top it off, there was no window in my room which created suffocation. In the evening smoke from a chimney outside the room entered the room to make it worse. Loud music from surrounding hotels made it difficult to sleep, although it was mentioned that the room was soundproof but there was nothing like that. I had to leave the door open to allow ventilation. On checkout there was no one to help with the bags. They should either reduce the price by 50% or refurbish the property. Not recommended for anyone.
    • The room was not properly clean, with a lot of dust. Although they claim it is cleaned daily, in reality only the bed is made and the bath towels are replaced. Loud music plays all day until 11:30 pm, making it hard to relax. The bathroom is not separated from the rest of the room, which is quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is very basic and could definitely be improved.

Great location. Awesome views, really short walk to all the restaurants. Friendliest staff ever. They made a point of making us feel welcome. Every single staff member was friendly and welcoming. I stayed in room 204. Top of the world with 270 degree views. Private balcony. Jacuzzi tub.

Location, breakfast and staff!! So friendly and helpful( dog included ??)

The breakfast should start a bit earlier than 8.30. the location is beautiful, but not so easy to park if you have a car.

Located in the heart of Goreme. Walking distance to restaurants, ATM’s etc.. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Stunning rooftop view.

Nice cave hotel experience, room was comfortable, central location, amazing view of hot air balloons at sunrise from the rooftop, amazing Turkish breakfast daily, friendly staff including helping us getting better hot air balloon price

The hotel is in the center and has lots of restaurants nearby. It has a nice rooftop bar with panoramic views of Goreme. Me and my friends enjoyed our stay here! Will definitely recommend ☺️ staff are also very friendly and helpful ☺️

The bar drinks prices are expensive! We didn’t expect it to be this expensive but we got that its tourist prices. But overall we enjoyed the drinks at the bar!

Excellent location, enchanting roof terrace, spacious room, Murat and the two young women at the reception are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Murat is the soul of the hotel and exceptionally helpful and accommodating, an excellent staff member.

The rest of the staff and the owner were quite reserved, and breakfast was the same every day. On two days, an omelet was simply placed on our table without comment. On the other days, none were offered. We stayed there for five days. The breakfast lady seemed rather listless, and you had to ask for something instead of being asked. The drinks on the roof terrace were exorbitantly priced. A 0.33 cl beer cost €7. The room and bathroom weren't cleaned or vacuumed during the five days we were there; only the towels were changed and the beds made.

The hotel is centrally located, which makes it convenient for exploring Göreme. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a variety.

Travelers with knee issues or mobility concerns should be aware that the area, as it's situated in a valley, involves a lot of stairs and uphill walking. My room was spacious and unique, being part of a cave structure, but it included steep internal steps that were challenging to navigate, especially for someone like me with osteopenia. Also, cleanliness could be improved. The room had noticeable dust behind the bed, likely due to the cave environment, which triggered severe allergies during my stay.

We had an amazing two-night stay at Castle Cave Hotel, and everything about it exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely perfect — nestled in the heart of Cappadocia with breathtaking views right from the hotel. Waking up to the stunning landscape each morning was a dream come true. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Narin and Beyza, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The room was clean and cozy, and the hotel handled all our airport transfers seamlessly, which made everything so convenient. One of the highlights of our trip was the hot air balloon ride. Even though it was a last-minute decision, the hotel managed to get us on the first flight, which gave us the most spectacular sunrise experience — something we’ll never forget. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop area where you can relax with beverages, enjoy the view, and be looked after by the attentive staff. Booking activities through the reception was incredibly easy, reliable, and cost-efficient — there was no need to search for travel agents or worry about logistics.Overall, Castle Cave Hotel made our trip to Cappadocia truly special. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region!

Stayed in a Cave Suite with a balcony with the most incredible views. Location is perfect, staff super friendly and assisted with our shuttle, hot air balloons and green tour bookings. Also close to many rooftops bar and restaurants. Really enjoyed this stay!

    Nothing!
