The staff were friendly, helpful, and never intrusive — they went the extra mile several times. The place has a unique atmosphere: modern comfort combined with the feeling of living in a castle and a cave at the same time. The rooms were warm and had everything essential. And the breakfast was absolutely outstanding, with a beautiful almost-panoramic view over Göreme - and if you go up to the terrace, you get a full view of the valleys and the hot-air balloons. The restaurant dishes were delicious, especially the signature Testi Kebab - truly exceptional!

There were no fridges or even a small wardrobe in the rooms, which we occasionally missed. The food menu is limited and on the expensive side. And it was disappointing that there was no first-aid kit available when we urgently needed one. But that's not so critical.

Everything, we loved everything!We had a ground floor twin bed room that had a little outdoor space just outside our door. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, and the bath luxurious. Location was close to restaurants.The front desk staff were so helpful and friendly.The rooftop deck was good for watching the hot air balloons take off, they didn’t go right over head like you see in some pictures.The breakfast was the best we had on our 5.5 week trip to Turkey and Italy.This was a wonderful place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. They packed a breakfast for us to take on our last morning as we had to leave before the kitchen was open.

The room was dark but we could also open the door to bring in more light and this wasn’t really a big deal!Tip: contact the hotel the day before you arrive to reserve a hot air balloon ride if you want one. We were disappointed when we arrived to find out they were sold out for the next day and the day after that they didn’t fly due to weather

Unique cave-style hotel with friendly staff and peaceful ambiance. Breakfast very good. Perfect location for exploring Göreme and relaxing after tours.

Close to downtown. The breakfast meze was amazing, as was the view from the restaurant. Rooms large with Turkish touches. Desk staff is helpful

Everything was perfect! The breakfast it’s huge!! The room had everything you may need and more, the receptionist is amazing! She was so helpful every moment of our stay! They let us in 3 hours before our check in! That was something I had never experience, the hotels always say no to this but they were super special on trying to help us with everything! I would definitely stay here again and I would totally recommend this places to anyone. The location is also perfect!

It was a little (very little) noise at night because we were exactly under the restaurant but it was very little, nothing to be worried.

The property was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views, beautifully designed spaces, and a very cozy atmosphere. What made our stay even more special was the incredible hospitality of Buseh. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and her ability to speak English, French, and Turkish made communication so easy. She was truly lovely, helpful, and made our experience unforgettable.The breakfast was delicious and generous make sure to let them know in advance if you have any allergies, as Turkish hospitality is incredible and they will make sure you are well taken care of.

High points for the location and general architecture of the hotel. Beds were comfortable and proprty accommodated our request of baby crib as well. General behavioe of staff was positive and welcoming.

Worst part was Air Conditioning system in room. The AC was non-responsive and despite being turned on we could not see a single digit change in climate drop. Unfortunately my kids and family had to spend all night sweating and lack of sleep.lighting in the room was insufficient, i believe they should add more lighting and allow guests to lower them if required.Breakfast was really sub par as a single option served you in person as a platter, considering the amount being charged they should be providing a better and vast option for guests. Overall, I would say location and room size were good but rest made the stay very unpleasant.

The hotel is well located, it has an amazing view from their rooftop and the breakfast is very good and healthy (You don´t get to serve your own plate; it is a fixed plate and you get the option of fresh eggs either fried, scrambled or omelette, but everything on the plate is delicious).

The rooms and AC needed maintenance to make your stay comfortable. If you go in summer, do not choose the Deluxe room since it is in the top of the building and it gets very hot.

I stayed at Cratus Stone Palace for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel beautifully captures the charm of Cappadocia, with its unique stone architecture and cozy atmosphere. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or requests.The location was ideal—peaceful yet close enough to the main attractions. My room was clean, comfortable, and offered a great view. Everything from the decor to the service reflected care and attention to detail.Overall, I highly recommend Cratus Stone Palace to anyone visiting Cappadocia. It's a perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and hospitality.

Check-in was smooth, room was as described/pictured, bed was firm and comfortable, loved the showerhead and water pressure, and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with a good view over the town to the mountains. It was nice having the small fridge to keep water cold before outings, and having tea & coffee in the room was perfect for our early morning balloon flight. Check out was smooth and we appreciated the ability to book our airport transfer through them. Pickup for the shuttle to the airport was prompt.

There was some confusion/miscommunication regarding our shuttle from the airport to the hotel, however as soon as the front desk was made aware they were able to rectify the situation. There was a little mold around the edges of the shower, nothing a little bleach and steam couldn't handle.

The room is large and the hotel location is good.The breakfast is perfect.

The location was perfect. We could see the hot air balloons from the Terrace. I expected the Terrace to be super crowded but it wasn't. I could get some really nice pictures. Also there were a lot of restaurants nearby within 5 mins of walk.

Very nice hotel - only a short way to downtown The breakfast is very good - at our stay was no breakfast buffet, the team served a local plate with salad, cheese, jam,honey ,... an also eggs You could get different types of fresh brewed coffee I can also recommen to stay at least once for dinner - it's very delicious In the morning you can watch the hot air balloons from the roof top - really impressive

Supportive staff, pleasant stay.Buse helped us with specific suggestions for our family. She also arranged various activities for us considering our interest. The view from the terrace when the balloons go up is magical.Had a great breakfast and was very happy with the support from all staff.
