Ascension Cave Suites - Special Class

The location was perfect right by one of the main view point. We booked the suite and had plenty of space for our 3 big luggage’s and 3 carry ons. The suite was on ground floor that was helpful for my mother with mobility issues. I Out of all the hotels I stayed in Turkey, Ascension had the best breakfast with plenty of options. The view from the breakfast room was fantastic and we really appreciated an indoor breakfast place in winter with glass walls. Staff were extremely helpful. We booked all our tours with them and received the best price for our balloon ride.

Walking distance to town made it very convenient, especially to sunrise/sunset viewing park.Nice view of fairy chimneys and the town from open patios, breakfast room, etc...

It was difficult getting tours through the hotel, lack of communication re: pick up by drivers, payments, etc.So we arranged tours with an agency in town, especially for hot air balloon ride which was cancelled so we got our refund.. (Poor weather, so no hot air balloons rides.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was great too and they offer a discount. Location is spectacular

Two minutes walking to the sunrise/sunset point, as well as nice breakfast included.

A bit difficult to get into the village given the traffic control by local authorities.

Top location: very close to the peak view in Goreme, that it is a touristic attraction in the village. Tourists should pay a fee for accessing that street but it was free of charge for us, as we had the hotel there.Breakfast: good quantity and quality. Delicious home made cakes.

Bathroom a bit outdated with a very old, unusable jacuzzi.

Location was just perfect - close to the sunset view point, close to all restaurants and shops, one of the mornings I even caught a photo of hot air balloons right off room’s window. Unique cave suites with excellent breakfast.

Loved the location of this hotel. It is like a hidden gem.. It's a bit uphill, but the bonus is the sunset view right from the hotel, as well as the hot air balloons right from the terrace. Live music on Saturday was so much fun! All the staff members except ONE are just great!! Reset expectations as it is a cave hotel and most likely built a few years ago.

One of the staff members (short, thin, wears glasses) was the coldest and rudest staff member, who lacked customer service. We had asked a day before for breakfast to be packed as we had a morning flight (our departure was not too early, but 15 minutes earlier than the usual start time of breakfast). But in the morning, this rudest person couldn't even get a proper breakfast packed for us. It was the ugliest and most unhygienic breakfast-to-go pack I have ever seen (and we travel a lot and have gotten breakfast packs on some occasions). We threw the whole thing in the trash. We had to ask him two to three times to bring our breakfast pack because we were running late, and he showed us such an attitude as if he was doing us a favor. This person doesn't serve a job in the customer service industry!! Sad to write this as we had an AWESOME experience otherwise, but this last bit just spoiled it :(

A peaceful retreat perched just below Göreme’s most iconic viewpoint. While others pay to access the lookout, guests here enjoy free entry, and my private balcony offered a view that truly rivaled it. More than once, passersby complimented the spot. I felt lucky to be staying there.The location made exploring the region easy and effortless, yet the property itself remained quiet and restful. My suite was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed — more than just a place to sleep.The staff were kind and genuinely helpful, arranging everything from local tours and balloon rides to an affordable airport transfer after checkout. Their warm hospitality made the stay feel personal.Breakfast was plentiful, with a generous open buffet and great variety.A lovely place to rest and recharge in one of Turkey’s most stunning landscapes.(Note: They also host live music on Saturdays, which I’d just missed. But it’s something to look forward to!)

Loved the Ascension Cave Suites! Don’t think twice, just book a room here - it’s truly the best! It’s in the perfect location to view sunset & sunrise every day. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Plus they make it very easy to book all activities for the area. If you’re lucky enough to stay on a Saturday night, be sure to stick around the hotel for great live music. Overall had the best time and would definitely stay here again.

Location proximity to town centre and its views from property.

Next to none english speaking tv channels as its winter so we tend come back to the room earlier and spend more time there.

Everything, the location is great, the variety of breakfast is incredible, the room is beautiful, the bath etc. I could give 11 points out of 10, would recommend my friends to stay here

Location is at the Heart of Goreme. The room window has beautiful view, the breakfast is amazing and changes every day, there’s a Sunset point 50m up from the Hotel which is free when stay at this hotel otherwise you have buy the ticket. Uchisar, Rose valley, pigeon valley everything is close by. Staff is exceptional when it comes to hospitality.

The size of the room was enough to accommodate 6 people, the breakfast buffet had many options. Location is very near to the balloon watching and sunrise and sunset point you can reach there by walking for 5 mins.. Restaurants & market lane is nearby you can walk and explore the scenic roads.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. Helpful staff.

The accommodation is in a very good location, with a generous breakfast and a nice view. The area is very cosy, with everything within walking distance.

We liked the location of the hotel as it is higher up a hill with a great view. The reception staff were amazingly friendly and very helpful in all aspects.

Some facilities need updating e.g. shower in the room.

Hot tub condition was not very good, a bit of mold and cannot control water flow. View was ok.
