Dervish Cave House & Restaurant

Great room, nice location. We liked the terrace garden very much, it's relaxing with great view.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. We were provided with room upgrade. No extra charges for the dog. Excellent breakfast. We were also provided with breakfast box on request for very early check-in - normally hotels in Turkey refuse to do that.

It’s a beautiful place with the most wonderful people working there! I stayed 2 nights and I wish I could stay longer. I was feeling so welcomed as if they were family or friends! Especially the young beautiful lady at the reception named Sheyda (forgive me if I misspell the name).The cave suite was lovely, impeccably clean and comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast was like a feast on a beautiful terrace, with lots of choices, everything fresh and tasty. The location is perfect, very close to the center and only 5-7 minutes walk up to the view point where I went at dawn to see the hot-air balloons!I will remember this place and this experience as one of the most beautiful things in my life.

The breakfast was great with a wide range of selection. The room was better than I had anticipated and the Goreme town center is jjust walking distance. The hotel is also close to the bus station. Upon leaving - one hostess came to chat offering us to stay in the lounge area while waiting for our bus and helped us with some advise for our next destination.

The bathroom had some leaks water would seep out from the shower closet. Dryer was not working but was replaced when requested. Could have better light setup - one switch for all lights instead of being able to switch off per section.

Staff was amazing, very welcoming, provided information about the area, sightseeing options, booked what we wanted to do. Breakfast was very elaborative with options for everyone. Will definetely stay again when we go back with kids and friends.

Location of the hotel is very convenient. Apartments are quite cozy. Staff is very hospitable and ready to help 24/7. We arrived late at night and there were no problems, they welcomed us and sent taxi. Breakfast is something else , it is really super tasty and you can get everything you want (omelettes, fruits, vegetables, freshly baked borek)

Holy hell did we love our stay here. Highly recommend for off season travel, not only did we get the room at a great price but they gave us a free upgrade AND bottle of wine upon arrival!Great views from the restaurants and public balconies plus the staff at the front desk were just so incredibly lovely, really made the stay special.

The rain haha, the place itself was perfect.

Great Breakfast (hope they would add hot choc in their drinks), Comfy Beds, Gorgeous view, Happy that our room got a free upgrade and was wonderful! Totally would recommend!

Without doubt cappodocia one of the favourite city turkey Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by sefa and kamal , we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The special thanks to sefa helped to arrange our airport transfer and tour hassel free . We had two great days there, which obviously also added up to the experience.

The cleaners and staff in the kitchen were nice and polite. But the receptionist won't very friendly didn't even asked how was our stay how did it went.

The staff were really helpful, breakfast was great and very convenient location too. Would definitely recommend Dervish!

Beautiful cave room that was spacious and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast and the staff were all kind and helpful. Very well located in a quiet area of the town while still central.

Great costumer service, excellent breakfast, very clean and modern facilities. The restaurants on the premises are really good, good views and food!

Location , the staff are excellent, they arranged everything hot air balloon, horse ride sunset , green tour . No hassle you enjoy they sort things out . The most important they value time , very punctual with time which I like most

The location is excellent walking distance to restaurants and the main square. The room was spacious and the Jacuzzi inside.

We loved the location with our room set into the rock—very authentic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and great restaurants nearby made it a wonderful family stay.

Host tried to make money by selling tours and balloon rides at much more expensive prices than the market.

I arrived at this hotel for my three night stay to be told that I'd been upgraded to a cave suite with a private terrace. What a fantastic start to my stay!I was a little ill with a cold for most of my stay so to have this very comfortable room and the Olympics on TV was a godsend. This was also the last three nights of a six week holiday so I fully intended to relax with or without a cold. It's ideally situated in town and close to all of the shops and restaurants but also very quiet. The rooms are tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable Breakfast was superb and the staff could not have been friendlier. I had to leave before breakfast was served on my last day and they alerted the kitchen so that I could have breakfast early.

Great room, amenities and staff service.It is situated a little short walk uphill. Otherwise close to everything. There are 2 entrances into the reception area.

So that no one gets dissapointed to plan a sunrise hot balloon pics. the rooftop area was not as shown in the promo picture. We were unpleasantly told the space no longer exists.The space is currently used for rooftop bar and restaurant. Too many lights tall bar stools. The hotel should remove the first promo photo to reduce misadvertisement.
