    Pros +

    • Location and staff were amazing.
    • The rooms were beautiful and decorated very Cappadocia style. I loved having a jacuzzi in my room. Having a Turkish Hamman spa was cute as well. It added a special touch. The Turkish breakfast buffet was very good. You could also order omelette to cook right on the spot. Everyone was very kind and nice. The location was just great; it was within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops. All of the things you would want to do in Cappadocia, will require to take a private tour or to have a vehicle to get to the location. There are no places to visit within walking distance from the hotel. 10 out of 10
    • Great breakfast. Super great location as it sits among the top row of the highest apartments in Goreme. The view at any time of day or night is spectacular from inside the apartment and on the patio. Attila the owner was super nice, great spoken English, and so accommodating with towels, cleaning, water bottles, recommendations for eats, etc.

    Cons -

    • The hot tub us right in front of the window.
    • Parking was a little crazy, but manageable
    • The stay inside carved out rock was amazing but it came with a bit of a cost. The room was a little humid despite running the dehumidifier constantly. This did not bother any of us though as we looked at this as part of the experience. Not sure how it could be avoided.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Perfect location to walk around Goreme and see the beautiful sights. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable & so beautiful (the pictures don't do it justice!). We stayed in the king suite which was a perfect size for my parents, brother and I. What really made this a wonderful time though was the lovely staff, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Seriously cannot wait to go back. Thank you for everything! :)

Inmaculate clean, gifts like slippers and toothbrush, the staff, the incredible turkish breakfast everyday, home close it was to the downtown and restaurants, but above all how we overslept twice but still got to see the hot air balloons over the city because the noise of the balloons woke us up passing just outside our bedroom and hotel because it is located just beneath the viewing point- which is paid- so we didn’t had to wake up so early cause just going outside your room you see the balloons incredibly close. We’d like to thank specially Eren who since our check in was incredible kind and helpful ; in a city that felt as if everyone was trying to squeeze more money out of you, he was one of the only people who just seemed eager to help another person.

You should bring cash (euros, not Turkish liras) for the hot air balloons and tours cause the company they work with asks for cash to avoid taxes. Consider maybe 500euros for all activities.

It's a great experience with hotel in a cave.

Booked a family room but were told that there's problem with the room coz of flood?! But they offered 2 rooms for us. But the thing is...I'm spending time as a family and wouldn't like to have separate room. And we booked the family room due the unique look and feel of staying in a cave. The feel is totally different with the twin room. Though I know is not their fault, but still...

The location is perfect, and the room is beautiful and big with no humidity or mold issues. Breakfast is a Turkish style, but could be more varied. The staff is very friendly.

At one day it was very cold.

The most amazing hotel, the rooms are carved into pillows of rocks. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, balconies and courtyard to relax in.

The hotel is great. But don’t book with them for any activity, I asked for hot air balloon first fly from Goreme. They offer 230EUR in the morning and I ask for discounts , they say they will check it for me. After that, in the afternoon they tell me they can offer 180EUR, I take the price and confirmed that the ballon will be first fly from Goreme as they promise. But Today when we arrived ballon take off point all the ballon already take off, and we miss the sunrise. After heading back to hotel I tell the hotel employee what was happened and asked for an explanation and he said let him contact the company. Clearly at this point, he was gonna check with the company for the first fly problem for me. After that he didn’t reply me any information until I asked him again before I left the hotel to the airport. At this point he go back to his word, said he only promised Goreme but not first fly, then I go to his boss to asked for a explanation, they are the same attitude, said I asked for lower price so I got second fly. Totally lack of responsibility, and to be honest, such a trickery move. Don’t let them fool you if you are a traveller.

Excellent location with only eight recently renovated rooms. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and energetic. The owner even stayed up until 1am to await our arrival (late flight from Kayseri).

Quite unique place in Goreme, Highly recommended. It is built within one of the volcanic tuff'/ rock formation

Too big bathroom compared to living room, but this is just an architect talking...

Great location near the sunrise/sunset point for viewing hot air balloons. Room really lived up to its 'Majestoc' name with big jacuzzi and plenty of living space and a grand patio/sitting area. The gentleman who worked there was kind and friendly and was genuinely concerned to obtain the best prices for us for car hire services (unlike many other places in the region where people are only concerned to earn a commission). Overall, would recommend!

From the reception to the kitchen staff, everyone was extremely friendly. Breakfast was great, and the personnel were amazing, always helping with our problems. The room was very clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Each morning, we were greeted with delightful conversation. The food was delicious, especially the made-to-order omelets.

The room was a bit humid, and the AC wasn't working properly, making it hard to control the temperature during the unusually warm weather.

The receptionist is very hospitable. You should also wake up around 5-6 am and marvel at the terrace for the floating balloons. It is always a good time to have some reflections in their terrace especially at night. They are also near sunset point.

It is kinda uphill going to the property though it’s just a short walk.

I would like to thank Mehmat bey and Ghazi for making our stay comfortable. They arranged everything on short notice and went above and beyond to address our needs. The facilities were also very good including the location.

    10ZohrehPosted on: 6-3-2024

The room is really clean. The staff truly went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Each morning, I was greeted with warm smiles. One of them (I don’t know her name) who prepared delicious omelets to order, was particularly attentive and ensured my meal was cooked exactly to my liking. Additionally, she made exceptional coffee, always taking the time to remember our preferences and prepare our drink with care. Their kindness and dedication to excellent service made my mornings a delightful start to each day.

The breakfast can be better because just included the cold items. But after all the cold options are perfect. The room had a level of humidity that made the air feel a liitle thick and heavy, but when we opened the window it felt better.

    10FarhatPosted on: 5-20-2024

Staff is very friendly soft spoken, will to do extra effort.

    Nothing negative.

Everything was nice. I recommend this hotel. Terrace is wonderful. Cave room was nice . Thanks for Gazi, Rabia and kitchen staff.

Staying at the Majestic Cave House was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room itself was beyond charming – beautifully decorated and exuding a cozy atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The beds were like sleeping on clouds; so plush and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was definitely the jacuzzi bath. After a day of exploring the wonders of Cappadocia, sinking into the warm bubbles with a glass of wine was pure bliss. And let's talk about the view – it was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the sunrise painting the sky over the unique landscape of Cappadocia was truly magical. But what truly set our stay apart was the hospitality of our host. Not only did they provide us with a warm welcome and helpful tips for exploring the area, but they also treated us to the most amazing home-cooked breakfast each morning. From freshly baked pastries to local specialties, every bite was a culinary delight that left us eagerly anticipating the next morning's meal.In summary, our stay at the Majestic Cave House exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for a charming accommodation with impeccable comfort, stunning views, and mouthwatering breakfasts, look no further. This is the place to be in Cappadocia.

We stayed for night to this newly converted/renovated cave hotel. We stayed in the majestic suit that has 2 bed rooms, one bathroom with jacuzzi, indoor private pool, turkish bathroom. Both the room had TV and air conditioned. The living room offers you great view from common terrace.Bed was super comfy. Good amenities in bathroom. Breakfast was Ok with quality items. Location is very good; bit up in the hill so very quite but restaurant and markets are very nearby; 5 mins walk. The manager Gazi is a gem of a man. Very cooperative and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Besides i must mention the generosity of the owner who gave a drop to bus station when our agency did the goof-up by not sending car on time, we could have missed the bus.
