Village Cave House Hotel

The hotel and rooms were lovely with amazing views of Goreme. The staff were wonderful - helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing - so many wonderful dishes, definitely one of the tastier Turkish breakfast spreads we've had while traveling in Turkey.

The room was rather stuffy and warm, and despite cool breezes and colder temperatures at night (down in the high 40's and low 50's) it was difficult to cool the room down. We were there in September, so I imagine in the summer it would be quite hot.

Perfect location. Walk to town or up to watch balloons from the lookout.

Very good view of hot air balloons. Cave house style accommodation is a unique experience. Breakfast is very good.

Excellent staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful location with amazing views without too much of a steep hike. Sweet hotel dog. Family owned.

Breakfast was just ok. Big spread but scrambled eggs would be nice. A lot of mezze. Small touches would be helpful like a trash can in the main room, and a portable luggage rack, or someplace to put luggage.

The room was carved out of the rock, which is what we wanted to experience!!? The views were fantastic, especially for the morning hot air balloon mass fly overs, it was close to the centre of town... though quite a steep walk uphill ?.

The breakfast was not appealing as we try to eat fairly healthy. Cold eggs, pickled ? items, limited fruit, cereal options, lots of 'sweetened' bread. We bought our own fruit. Also the lights in the bathroom were a bit sus.

the location is high so its perfect for photo , room is comfortable view is outstanding

make sure u have your own toothpaste they dont usually have it there

Beautiful hotel with amazing view and the nicest staff. - Hotel: in a fairy chimney with a great terrace perfect for balloon spotting in the morning- Room: the cave room has heating (if necessary) but naturally has a mild and comfortable temperature. Bathroom is big and spacious. Bed is suuuuuuuper comfortable- Staff: really friendly and always willing to help. All tours (red, green and balloon) booked with them. This made everything easy, as we always had pickup from the hotel

My only note is to add a shower holder to facilitate when hair washing is needed

The room was gorgeous and everything was so comfortable. I booked a horse ride at reception and it was excellent, personalised and a great ride. Staff were lovely and the location combined proximity to town and great views.

Nice hotel built in a cavern on the top of Göreme. It is also very well located! The breakfast was very good in my opinion.

The entire hotel is built (burrowed) into the side of the hill. Amazing views of the town and balloons in the morning from the patio outside our room.

The location is good and the design of the hotel is just amazing. You will never get tired of the view. It’s my second time here and both of rooms which I stayed are lovely.

This hotel is a gem of a find. The location was superb - right in the heart of downtown Goreme. It is an actual cave hotel and offers superb views of the landscape in Goreme. The room is clean and armed with everything we needed. The breakfast spread every morning is amazingly delicious and the resident dog & visitor cats are soooo cute & endearing! And the best part? It is so reasonably priced - doesn’t cost an arm & leg!

Very comfortable, beautiful room, and the view was amazing. The strip of stores and restaurants was not even 10 minutes' walk. Staff was very helpful and kind with booking tours and taxis. Definitely gave the experience. Highly recommend ?

Amazing location, few minutes walk to sunset viewing… very beautiful view of the caves from the balcony. accommodating and hospitable family who owns the hotel. Will definitely stay again in the future and recommend to my friends.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. They booked excellent excursions, balloon, red and green tours. Rooms are clean and views for balloon watching are very good. Close and walking distance to Goreme Center. Lots of restaurants nearby.

The staff there were super nice and extremely helpful. When our hot air balloon reservations got canceled at 7pm that night, they found us a tour for the next morning and it was cheaper than what we originally paid (not to mention the tour they booked us on was incredible as well). This place is also actual “caves” carved into the mountainside unlike 90% of the other hotels in the area.
