Every morning, we were treated to a delicious spread with a variety of fresh and flavorful options that kept us coming back for more.The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better – right on the beach with stunning views, yet peaceful and relaxing. We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Theodore Boutique Hotel in Crete, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located directly on the beach, offering breathtaking views of the crystal-clear sea – the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday. I barely write reviews, almost never, but for almost 500 EUR per night this "boutique hotel" is disappointing. The only thing that stood out was the breakfast, the rest was mediocre, maybe not even.

I am super disappointed and consider this hotel a waste of money in peak season. I don't now where to start. As a boutique hotel, priced at almost 500€ per night during peak season this hotel had a lot of flaws. We couldn't enjoy our stay knowing how much we paid, as there were many better and more affordable boutique hotels across the island:1. Beach (not the nicest beach): I don't know why ONLY in front of the Theodore there was algae on the beach. Left and right of the hotel it was cleaned up but not at the hotel. The "facilities" and the outdoor space was really dirty and cheap with little to no love for details. 2. Food: Ordered a Club Sandwich that didn't taste like a club sandwich, go next door and you are better of eating at the beach. 3. Room/Cleaning: While the Room was nice the minibar was just standing in the room, the router just plugged into the wall and when cleaning the room the bed and pillows were folded like I was doing it myself. Towels and bed sheets had some holes. Also, no TV's in case you wonder.4. Reception: Asked for local recommendations, the staff had no idea and we just waived it to come back. They literally give you a print out with a few basic recommendations within 2 hrs drive. 5. Flexibility: We changed the dates of our stay due to some circumstances, and the rate was slightly lower. The hotel asked us to pay the balance once we arrived the hotel. 6. Check-In/ Check-Out: No help with the luggage, had to carry it myself.

The hotel is perfect. Small one, adults only from this year (yay!), very nicely decorated. It was super clean, all amenities were there and replenished daily. The location is right on the beach, it is super quiet and there is a bar with snacks (which are amazing) and drinks. Breakfast was great, you get specials every day and a standard a-la-carte menu. Coffee was also great!Wifi worked pretty good, not super high speeds, but enough to stream Olympics :) But, what made a difference for us was the staff. They were so welcoming, warm, helpful and eager to talk and help us during our stay. Everyone was super nice, but we must mention Stella, Eleni and Giannis. Such nice people that genuinely want to help you in any way, or just chat. My wife and me are so happy that we chose this hotel, and we will for sure come back for this little piece of paradise in Crete.

Nice location - beachfront, one can feel the seabreeze, quiet, very nice personal and welcome, the bilding has a very nice design on the outside, not all fine design in the rooms but still ok.

lovely decor, amazing staff, good quality and amazingly fresh food for breakfast and small snacks during the day, comfortable bed, great facilities and rooms with beautiful views, very good location which was out of the way enough to be peaceful and quiet but just a short walk to many restaurants and bars.

I would have to be incredibly fussy to find any real improvements to this hotel. its a tiny boutique hotel with only 8 rooms so if you're looking for somewhere lively or more of a party vibe then look elsewhere.

The hotel features a clean, modern, and minimalist design in a peaceful yet accessible location with stunning views. I loved that it’s named after Agioi Theodoroi, which is visible from the hotel. The delicious and wholesome healthy breakfast, made with locally sourced produce, was a highlight. Most importantly, the warm hospitality from everyone—the front desk staff, waiters, cleaners, and chef—was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I felt a unique and relaxed ambiance. It was exactly what I needed for a mini escape from reality.Thank you for a wonder stay, I hope to be back one day!

Exceptional and highly recommend.However, I have a couple of suggestions:•Replace plastic straws with bamboo or paper alternatives.•Provide larger pump dispensers for toiletries in the bathroom instead of multiple minis.These small changes would make a significant difference from an environmental perspective.

Location was great - easy access to beach restaurants etc - Breakfast was great - also snacks available through day night etc were good Staff were excellent - lots of fun -could not do enough to help us during our stay All in all perfect B and g eagle - Australia

The first hotel I’ve ever been twice to. Amazing atmosphere, perfect beach, the best breakfast I’ve ever had, cosy , full of professional, polite, lovely, mindful people. A Big thank you to Mr. George and his team for this wonderful experience.

The fact that the hotel turns to adults only from 2024 (which I fully understand) still I can’t travel there with my little boy anymore :( The topper of the bed was a bit too soft for us so I didn’t sleep that well the first night . But then we simply took it of and everything was perfect again!

It has a very good design and the people are really nice. The food was excellent also the „day-snacks“ were more like a meal and also very delicious. The rooms with sea views are very tastefully and the sound of the waves are giving you a good sleep. :)

The outdoor bar area could be improved on with a little imagination, Some comfy chairs with good shade etc All in all, however a wonderful small hotel with best friendliest most helpful staff I've ever come across.
