Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel - Adults Only

The property was very clean and easily accessible to the surrounding area areas. The food was delicious. The room was very clean and staff made sure I had everything I needed as a solo traveler. I felt very safe. The staff helped me to organize different excursions and make sure I had everything I needed.

Awesome breakfast, great staff and beautifull hotel. We chose the rooms overlooking the second pool and they were beautifull. I want to thank Antonis and the service crew for making our stay so pleasant and giving tips on local restaurants and places to visit!

I don’t think you should have to pay for sunbeds if you’re staying at the hotel, especially when there are limited numbers at the pool

Clean modern rooms with comfortable beds and great showers. The staff were so welcoming and happy especially the reception staff and housekeeping staff. The bar staff at the beach bar were ok but not as good as other staff we met. This hotel is definitely worth a visit its location was perfect for visiting many different restaurants in the area. The bus into Chania was easy to get and the fun train provided some really nice tours

Paying €10 euros for 2 sunbeds on the hotels beach was excessive when there are sunbeds along the beach that are free to use. The hotel provided 2 bottles of water included in the price and there were a couple of times we got fruit but this seemed inconsistent

We had a room with a slider and it opened right up to the pool and a very short walk to the ocean. Absolutely amazing

The staff did not speak very good English and it was a little challenging.

The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful, made us feel at ease during the entire stay. The room was spot on, the pool areas very relaxing, the beach in front of the hotel had amazing sand and the water was a dream, was free of any debris and rocks, only fine sand under your feet. Breakfast was tasty, varied and inviting.

Honestly nothing really important, perhaps expect that if people close the door hard you will hear it/feel it pretty well.

The room was big and comfortable, the staff was really nice and welcoming. The facilities was really good, the beach, the breakfast. We highly recommend!

Not enough parking ! Advertised parking but was very limited after we arrived to the hotel ! That should be stated ahead of time ! Also to charge for beach umbrella and chairs should be complementary seeing I paid enough money for the room was there for 9 days

Great location, three swimming pools and clean and modern hotel! No kids allowed, so very calm and relaxed athmospere. Nice rooms and breakfast was versatile.

Pillows were too fat, and they had no better ones to change. There were too little counter space in the room.

Location, referring to the area on the island was great. Breakfast was good, but definitely room for improvement. I liked a lot the staff attitude, management included, a big thumbs up for that!

Honestly not a very big inconvenient but still worth mentioning. When you select on booking a hotel on the beach with private beach and you select a room with sea view, I personally expect to have my room close to the beach, not on the other side of the main road and I expect to enjoy that private beach without having to pay daily for the sunbeds, because I am as well taking advantage of the bar on the beach, so it feels like a rip off (even though they give you two bottles of water and a spoon of fruit salad, aprox. 15% of what you pay for the sunbeds). Also I must say that I was disappointed by the bar, they charge a lot for a cocktail and the stuff it's not trained in preparing a cocktail, and some of them have 3 ingredients :( also, waiting time for a cocktail, around 15 to 20 minutes is unacceptable (and this is sitting at the bar and waiting for it)

Beach chairs were not free for hotel guests. We were required to pay for lounge chairs on the beach.

Spa prices were crazy high. Also food and drinks costs were higher than neighbouring properties.

The staff was excellent. the location. The pool was very clean. The prices in the bar were very fair. We had a terrace in the room. The room was big.

we booked a twin room and it was a double also the room was not 100% clean when we arrived there was the smell of a room that had been closed. Also in the pictures the rooms look more modern. Also the mattress could have been more comfortable. to be fair the staff changed the beds in the morning and cleaned the room again. But if it was other guests they would have requested another hotel. I know from experience as I run an short let stay company in my country. The rest was excellent. Please improve where necessary but you are doing a very good job !

The staff service was great. They would help us with all our questions, requests for dinner reservations, etc. They were really friendly and made you feel at home.

Sun beds by the pool (the closest to the beach) were taken by 7am every day even if users didn’t use them for hours.
