Solimar Turquoise - Adults Only

A lovely hotel in a great location, with direct access to the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was excellent with a good selection to choose from at all meal times.The pool bar and beach bar offer a great selection of drinks on the all inclusive package including some delicious cocktails!The hotel is surrounded by some really nice restaurants, bars and shops, but it never felt noisy or too much. Chania is a short bus ride away and definitely worth a visit, the venetian port is stunning!All in all the stay was exceptional value for money, the rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, great food and drink in a great location, what's not to love!

The only thing I didn't like about the hotel are the tiles around the pool, it is very slippery when wet!

We had a Brilliant Vacation,Happy Helpful, Polite ,Staff.With a big surprise the Reception Staff,Anna,Anastasia & Yorgos Upgrated our room.and had a warm welcoming for our Wedding Anniversary,The Hotel ,Is Modern,New & Clean,They have a Romantic Beach Bar with pool,Crystal Waters Beach with free Sunbeds,a larger pool with Bar in the hotel,good free WiFi. we where on All inclusive, Bfast,lunch ,dinner & between snacks ,Alcohol, Cocktails,Water Juices & soft drinks, Big Variety of tasty Food Deserts & fruit.The streets are full of Shops.We booked return taxi with the hotel which was cheaper.Thank you

We really liked the hotel. The personnel was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The cleaning and cleanliness of the hotel. Newly renovated and fresh. We got a room with nice view and liked it very much. When we arrived we got fruits and a bottle of wine in the room. One of the poolareas was nice and warm, protected from the wind and the other was closer to the water and nice when it was too hot at the other :)

The snackbar could have been better.

Lovely place with the bar on the beach. Staff is very friendly but some guys in reception could smile more when tell them good morning etc. Nektarius in the bar is clever guy, very friendly and make people have a party together. Nice also because no children there but our children came to Greece and we have to unlucky change hotel. Food very variety and good flavour. Never problems on toilet.

Just the air con was so weak and the spray water in pipe was damage. So basic thing but nobody care of that.

The staff was great. Anastasia welcomes us every day with a big smile and she was very interested in our needs. Also the manager is a great person. They tried to do our staying a very pleasant one.

Maybe the meals, more variety of Greek cooked food.

The location is perfect. The beach is so close and it has everything you need around you. There is a public bus going to Chania. The bus stop is outside the hotel.

This was the 2nd time I had stayed at Solimar Turquoise Hotel, now a friend of mine accompanied me and both of us were amazed how kind and attentive the staff were: they welcomed us as if we were close friends, and they even upgraded our room, we got a junior suite which was beautiful and very comfortable. The food was delicious, the restaurant staff took care of my friend's gluten-free diet as well. We enjoyed the hotel's beach, it's right across the road. All in all we had a wonderful time and we were spoilt by Solimar Turquoise. We are definitely coming back next year.

It was a great stay, the crew was really helpful with everything. I think we got upgraded room which was huge and with a beautiful view whats more, food was delicious

Solimar Turquoise is an amazing hotel! The room was modern, well-equipped and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner ) were tasty and varied. I can't praise enough the receptionists, they were so nice and caring all the time, and they offered me to stay longer than the usual check-out time. I loved the beach, everything was tidy, ( Agia Marina with its sandy beaches is a lovely place to go swimming! ), the beach bar served refreshing drinks, and the main restaurant was also exceptionally well-organized: no queues at all at the buffet tables. I felt relaxed and refreshed after my short holiday and I am grateful for this lovely experience.

Very good facilities and nice staff. Room was big and very nice sunset view from balcony. Very good value for money with all inclusive. Nice pool area. Variety of different foods

Food quality could have been better, fries were always very soft. Food seem to be cooked in some other place and without constant heat they were almost always cold. Deserts were good

-Staff is friendly and helpful, particularly Anastasia-good variety of food and it tastes well-rooms and the whole hotel are clean, fresh towels every day-only a 2 min walk to the beach, there is also a pool bar there-its a fine pebble beach and in the water sand-bus stop directly in front of the hotel, to Chania one way 1,60-many shops (souvenir) nearby

-maybe a mini table at the beach, to put the drinks on

Village: Nice but nothing exceptional, I've stayed in many 4-star hotels and found no substantial differences. (Thumbs up)Restaurants/Swimming pool: apart from the main restaurant which can be accessed once and is very good, the restaurant with buffet has good quality products but is not very varied and poorly stocked (a few main foods that alternate every day). The pool bar is also poorly stocked in terms of snacks (not adequate for a 5-star hotel).Note of merit for those who are lovers: the desserts (very good).The staff in the restaurants and the swimming pool are all very kind and nice. (Thumbs up)

I start by saying that this review is for the Solimar Aquamarina because two days before arrival they contacted me saying that due to overbooking problems I can't stay with them but fortunately they immediately found me an alternative in another hotel (the Solimar Aquamarina in fact) of the same chain with a one-star upgrade (5*) but without one thing that was important to us: an Adults Only structure. I had booked the property 6 months in advance and this was the result. (thumbs down)Rooms: we were in two in a family junior suite, the space was considerable but the terrace on the ground floor was completely without a bulkhead therefore Zero privacy (impossible) and the apartment was very dark. Ancillary and connected services nothing to report, good cleaning. (thumbs down)The sea in front of the village can be reached in 4 minutes on foot and is not worth the trip (thumbs down)

Amazing hotel with the most lovely and kind staff. Good variety of food at every meal. I would only suggest some options of snacks at the beach bar. The hotel was constantly being cleaned and my room was flawlessly clean on daily basis. Perfect location with plenty of shops around and a 1min walk to the beach. Thank you so much for the great time I spent there.
