Barceló Lanzarote Royal Level

The room and the area at the hotel was cool, the swimming pool with warm water was awesome.

I miss kids activities, playground. In addition, there were a lot of food but it was not always tasted. For example, the fideua was not good, some times strawberries were not good.

A beautiful hotel with lovely facilities, comfortable rooms and well kept grounds. An excellent buffet for dinner and breakfast with reasonably priced drinks and impeccable service. Staff went the extra mile trying to resolve my problem. No chance at all of a quiet relaxing holiday.

Noise, Noise and More Noise. My balcony overlooked the pool (lovely view) but activities were accompanied by exceptionally loud beat music throughout the day. Reading a book quietly on the balcony impossible. The royal level was not sufficiently separate from the bulk of the hotel and the royal level pool with a bar once again had beating noise whilst the alternative pool area was bare and had no bar. Disappointing.

Friendly staff , clean and tidy , efficient and very informative check in , parking outside , easy to get to restaurant,good choice in the restaurant

Air con not working in room, fridge in room not working everything was warm in it The phone in the room had no details on it how to get through to reception so went from 5th floor back down to reception, was told they would send someone to fix it , no one arrived , so eventually got phone to work and called reception again and I was told somebody would come to fix , waited another while still noone came , I went back down to reception again was told the same thing and eventually a maintenance person arrived , the filter in the air con was blocked it looked like it hadn't been cleaned or replaced in years , the fridge he did something at the back of it presumed turned down the temperature, Maintenance person was very informative friendly , seemed well educated on his trade ,It would t have been a problem if they gave a rough estimate time the maintenance person was to arrive but they didn't so I didn't want to unpack my suitcase in the room in case I was going be changed to a different room if the air con couldn't be fixed , if I had an idea of time wise I could have gone got something to eat or drink and come back at the time needed

Fantastic hotel with great facilities and helpful and friendly staff. Really good hotel for active people. Hotel has great food and drink at Royal Level. Will be returning in the future.

The entertainment could be a bit better.

The hotel is big and spacious, breakfast with many options. Royal Level pool area excellent staff, always attentive and smiling

We made two requests for a shower gel, one via the app and another directly at reception, but it was not delivered. Another negative point is that people who are not part of the Royal Level have access to the area; there is no control over who enters, and anyone can access it .

The whole place was run very efficiently everything was clean well maintained, the staff very welcoming , it seemed more like a 5 star hotel at 3 x the price !! food is as amazing too!

Everything about the Barcelo Lanzarote Royal Level was excellent. Exceptional food, room, pools, comfortable armchairs on the large balcony, huge comfy bed. Daily housekeeping was outstanding. Room entry with a wrist band fob worked with no chance of losing/leaving key behind. Complimentary mini bar was brilliant. ALL Staff were brilliant! Activities & entertainment if you wanted them. €90 VIP complimentary meal at local restaurant was a nice surprise. Handy having a shop on site for snacks, fresh milk, or forgotten items.

Very clean and spacious, stylish rooms that were very comfortable, great swimming pools

The main bar area was huge, very open and not very cosy or inviting to sit in on an evening.

Nice staff, clean restaurants, nice royal level restaurant (same to less food options as the big one but quieter)

We paid royal mostly for the heated pool. It was barely heated, couldn't feel a difference with the unheated pool next to it. AC temperature settings were fake, it's just on/off.

We stayed in Royal Level half board and everything was so good. Rooms comfortable and we had two single beds pushed together. Food - no complain for half board. Excellent breakfast and great dinners each night. We did not take full board because we wanted to travel and see island. Food is delicious and lots of quality seafood and meat. Drinks is not included in half board but they are not expensive. Activities in swimming pool is great - from circus, piano and sports activities. Beautiful area and you can walk to closest town in 15min. Excellent gym and sport facilities and every hour there is classes to get fit. Loved yoga each morning with Marta. Evening entrainment is great and Luca and Bingo nights made our day.

Everything was perfect and we will be back again.

The suites were spacious with a nice balcony. Food is buffet of good quality

Whilst the buffet is good and varied it isn't always hot. The coffee was disappointing.

Very little special for royal guests and many non royal guests used royal facilities with no checks of challenge

Junior suite was very spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed staying in the far corner of the hotel with the sea view, as then the hotel has not seem that big. Delicious food, wide variety of the buffet. Heated pool. Promenade along the sea by the hotel.

The junior deluxe suite was stunning. The gardens and pool areas were superb. The dining options were excellent and delicious

The doors in the room didn’t close well and when we came back after housekeeping had been in the main door wasn’t closed.

A very nice, comfortable resort to relax in. Staff friendly. The best thing was the buffet restaurant, excellent selection range and quality, for breakfast and dinner.

In the afternoons they play loud music around the main pool area where there are some activities, I would have preferred if they did not, although it did stop before early evening.

The location was set in a beautiful and peaceful country, offering a serene escape. The room was exceptionally special—spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Being selected as a VIP guest was a wonderful surprise, and the management team was friendly, professional, and made us feel truly welcomed and comfortable. The overall vibe of the hotel was relaxing, creating a perfect atmosphere for a rejuvenating stay.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at the à la carte restaurant during my stay. Despite having a voucher, it felt as though we were forgotten or treated differently from "paying customers." We waited for over an hour for our food, only to realize we had been overlooked entirely.To make matters worse, this happened on my 40th birthday. I had to leave without eating, feeling hungry, sad, and completely let down on what should have been a special occasion. This experience cast a slight shadow over my stay.

Good facilities, good food.

Terrible room, sleeping impossible. The door to the room has zero sound proofing, actually its like the door doesnt exist. To give you a better idea: Theres a sliding door around 20 meters away in the ground floor while the room was in the second floor. While sitting in the room on the sofa, door closed of course, you can hear the sliding door opening and closing twice per minute, all day long. Plus, all people and staff passing by all day long, all night long. Dont go here if sleeping is important to you. We also had a cockroach in the room.
