Pros +
- the quality of the service, an excellent location, the direct access to the beach from the room, the breakfast
- Location. The beach access is THE thing here. Walk out of your room, and in 30 seconds, you're on a small private beach. We also enjoyed walking the marina on the other side.Staff were all kind and helpful.
- Right on the water, def get a room overlooking water.
Cons -
- Small thing: The tub/shower combo had a very high side and no grab bars, so getting in and out, especially when it was wet, felt a bit treacherous. Perhaps it was the cumulative wear and tear (we were there the last night before they closed for the season), but the room could use a bit of a freshening up. Paint was a bit dingy/cracked in places, the dresser top was scratched up.
- Food was not good. Hidden fees and price gauging. Rooms were clean, but the very old- expensive for what you get
- This hotel is advertised as a five star hotel not sure how they got that rating. The furniture in our room was outdated and very old. The side table was uneven and I had to put paper under one of the legs to make it not wobble and the chair cushions were old and worn out barely staying on the base. The hotel location is very remote and you are pretty much stuck at the property however there is a small town with a few restaurants and a grocery store. If you dare to or want to venture out. The actual hotel had no place to buy snack or coffee. They do have snacks and drinks in the mini fridge however, the prices were exorbitant. My biggest issue with this property is that it is not safe. As my husband and I exited the hotel there is a granite staircase leading down to the Port I missed the top step and tumbled all the way down to bottom hitting my head and seriously injuring my foot. The main entrance is a large gate for cars and a smaller gate for pedestrian access. However, we tried to use it in the small gate was locked and had to wait for a car to drive by to trigger the gate to open. The hotel manager stated that the granite staircase is not their property however unless you want to stand at the front gate and wait for a car to trigger its opening, This is the only entrance and exit to this hotel. At a minimum a minimum handrails or at yellow grips tape and signage needs to be installed showing that the stairs are slippery and dangerous. We ended up leaving two days early due to my injuries as it was difficult to enjoy the remainder of our vacation being battered and bruised. We did ask for a refund in the hotel refused. The hotel say was extremely expensive and not worth the money we paid. At a minimum this hotel should have provided us with a refund for at least one day as our stay was over $600.00 per night. Needless to say, we will never stay here again.

The property was located right on the mediterranean Sea and the beach was beautiful. Overall, the staff was very nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious. However, since we prepaid for either breakfast lunch or dinner, we could choose lunch or dinner. The food’s presentation was very nice. However, the choices did not differ much because it was a preset menu. The ambience of the hotel was a little too stuffy.

The location between ocean and marina is really amazing. Very courteous staff.
Dinner and drinks are quite expensive.
• The room felt very private and quiet, with a small, cute patio overlooking the garden.• Cleaning was done twice a day: once in the morning and around 7 PM to prepare the room for sleep. • Breakfast was excellent and varied, with eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, smoked and fresh salmon and tuna, plenty of pastries, juices, champagne, and fruit.• The private beach was clean and picturesque, with golden sand. The water was clear and very pleasant; morning swims were particularly enjoyable. The hotel also provided beach towels. There were always enough sun beds for everyone. Having a quiet, private beach in Sardinia is a real treat, as most beaches tend to be crowded.• The swimming pool looked very nice, but I didn't try it since the sea was so close. On a minor note, I did notice that some areas around the pool had dirt along the edges.• There’s a small corner with a treadmill and other equipment for exercising, but it's more suitable for short cardio sessions or yoga/Pilates.• The staff at both the reception and on the beach were extremely professional and helpful. I asked them to organize a transfer to the boat, and they even arranged an earlier check-in by an hour.
The staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. The room was spotless and had the extra amenities that made the stay a delight.
Staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Always with a smile. Location in the heart of Porto Rotondo
Nothing really
An elegant and prestigious, truly Italian hotel, perfectly placed on the Porto Rotondo coast. Very professional staff, proper evening aperitivo moments and excellent dining at night. The staff were lovely, very attentive and the food was excellent. The private beach was perfect; immediate access to the sea was divine.
The rooms were a bit too dark, the bedding could use updating with better pillows, the lighting could be improved. Nothing major, just small details.
Location, breakfast, food at restaurant overall, very friendly and helpful hotel employees
Professional staff excellent serviceAmazing dinners by chef Ivan , great wine selection by sommelier Nicola Private beach , just few steps from the room Gear Marina nearby and lovely Porto Rotando restaurants and cafes
I liked everything
The staff were outstanding.
The gym MUST have at least THREE pieces of additional equipment. A Technogym Eliptical, a Technogym UNICA multi-functional piece, and a small rack of dumbbells.
Amazing service, very convenient location - close to Porto Rotonde but with very private beach. Breakfast and overall restaurant was very good! We always had dinner there. We got room upgrade to sea view and we got early check in, so enjoyed the beach since morning when arrived.
Everything was great
Bad
Food no pasta no pizza in half board
Great private beach and ocean view. Awesome breakfast. Staff was super friendly and attentive.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. The property was very well-maintained beautiful views, and great location.
Some of the rooms could use a little makeover
It’s one of the most beautiful hotel locations I’ve ever been to (we have been all over). Our room opened right onto the property’s beach and the beachside cafe. They have two amazing pools, both saltwater. One overlooking the incredible view of the port and one on the other side that was warmer and very private. The food was excellent the entire time. Everything about this place is excellent. It’s also one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever been to and the staff is just so warm and lovely. I also love that you can walk right down to the port with just a very short staircase and walk into the small town.
Location and staff
Room was a bit tired
Amazing place to stay in and feel relaxed and enjoy beauty in every sense, location is amazing right at the port while at the same so quite, with it beautiful landscape all around and gem private beach, the place is way more amazing than the photos give you a sense of a resort and the attention of a luxury boutique hotel, breakfast was outstanding, culinary experience in a lovely restaurant with the port view, the staff is so hospital and attentive, the rooms have an original architecture style with modern facilities, also got upgraded to a sea view room, and the asked for a late check out according to availability and was approved free of charge. Will definitely go back.
Everything is very carefully structured for seamless and enjoyable experience.
A private beach just steps away with great snorkeling! The staff is on top of everything providing excellent service. Plenty of details that make it extra special. Great hotel!
