Sandman Signature Sherwood Park Hotel

Just the location.

(a) The room didn't get cleaned as requested for the stay, (b) the hotel areas were not as clean as expected, (c) the front desk staff refused to provide a glass of hot water for medicinal purposes.

Hotel is new and very nice

No where does it mention $150 damage deposit, would never have stayed if I knew this. Of the many hotels I have stayed at this is a first

Clean, easily accessible and friendly and quiet.

My clock alarm went at midnight when I hadn’t touched it and we find the room too warm at night for sleeping and it seems it’s not adjustable.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the rain shower was great

Appreciated the simple ice water option available in the lobby.

Would love at this price point a simple continental breakfast with room, like other competing hotels.

The room is clean. Restaurant is connected to the hotel.

Book for 3 guests, hotel only provided 2 of everything (2 towels, 2 bathrobes, 2 drinking glasses etc…). The mirror in the elevator are dirty.

Convenient location and they had a pool

We opened the sofa bed and it was dirty. We left it and made do because it was 11 pm. But in the am I told the front desk staff and all they said was well you should have called down and we would have done something last night.

Staff was helpful and the room was nice

The bathroom was open concept which I did not know when booking, that was not ideal

Won't come back

this is the first time I’ve ever been charged $20 for arriving just one hour before check-in even though the room was clearly ready. Instead of welcoming a paying guest, the front desk made it feel like a cash grab

We brought our kids for the slide and absolutely loved it The rooms were clean and comfy and the pool was awesome

The staff at the front desk .. should be a little more warm and inviting , the guy didn’t even smile at us , didn’t explain anything like the pool location or anything like that

All is just average

Three nearby hotels all offered breakfast, but Sandman did not. This was never mentioned before check in or before payment. The front desk staff had no suggestions, no alternatives, and no recommendations.The small coffee and tea station they put out in the morning was empty and later removed.At checkout I explained that I was disappointed because breakfast was not available and this was not disclosed when I made the reservation. The front desk agent simply shrugged without saying a word.Overall, this hotel does not seem to care about guest experience. Choose a better hotel that values its customers.

This was our 3rd year staying with our grandchildren before Christmas and we love it

It would be wonderful if there was a continental breakfast due to the location of the hotel to nearby restaurants

Room was clean bed was very comfortable. Robes warm and soft pool and hot tub nice perk. We will definitely be back.

The container mounts in the shower fell off-the-record wall and scared the crap out of us and one of thd towel bars in the bathroom mounted under the sink was hanging not secure but looked like it could use a tighten.

Bedding and towels. Very nice. Comfy bed

Lots of cold air blows in the front door.

Location and price

Sliding door on bathroom offered no noice reduction to the bedroom, light switches seemed distant to reach at night.

Clean and quiet

The staff wouldn’t help me I asked for receipt and was told I had to contact booking.com. I contacted booking.con and they told me I needed to contact the property. I contacted the property and they put me on hold for 30 minutes so I hung up the phone.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the suite was clean and well-maintained.

The bedroom layout felt a bit odd, but overall it was still a comfortable stay.

Location, newness, main areas very clean.

Our room had a few no -picky spots that weren’t clean as well as they could have been. The shower head was a bit odd and the door latched/slammed really quickly behind you.

The staff were so kind and helpful. The layout of the suite was nice and well stocked

The bathroom was not completely clean. Requires a good deep clean.The pool was cold and the chlorine was making everyone in the pool cough and eyes were burning. We couldn’t stay long at all. So decided to go to our room with our kids and watch a movie. The cable did not have any options. And the wifi didn’t work. Thankfully the bed was comfortable.
