We liked everything about Hotel Tigullio! The location was wonderful, about a five minute walk to town, and the water. The hotel was clean, and our room was so comfortable. It was large, with a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. We would love to stay here again.

Location is great. Close to restaurants and the port where the ferries leave to nearby towns, including Portofino.

Wonderful hotel. We chose it for the high standard at affordable prices for Santa Margherita (early to mid-September). The location was a five minute walk from the train station and less than two blocks to the beach and central area including the via Palestro, which was full of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. You can walk the path to Portofino from the beach area (5 km - highly recommended. Can walk back or take a short bus for 5€). We had a wonderful meal at the Ristorante Antonio, a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel it self was very nice. Breakfast was wonderful - great selection of everything. The seating area was a little tight, so get there early or later. There was a wonderful roof top bar that we visited in the evening for a drink (nice bar staff and comfy couches to relax). There is also a lobby bar. The rooms were standard size. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice balcony with a table and two chairs, idea for a glass of wine before heading out. The staff were wonderful. We arrived a little earlier before check in, but out room was ready and we were able to check in. Great location, facilities, staff and price.

Wonderful breakfast. Very convenient location.

The bed was much too firm for me and made my back hurt. The room is small but ok for 2 people. We had to get the iron and ironing board from the front desk each time we wanted to use it. It would have been nice to them in all rooms.

Very kind staff all around. Extra comfy pillows and bed. Highlight is Mario at breakfast and the rooftop cocktail bar, would come back just to see him!

The breakfast and the personnel were amazing! This’s a real hotel boutique. Paola in the front desk was always very helpful and the breakfast was very exclusive not a traditional American or standard breakfast

We picked the small room and we didn’t expect that the shower was so tiny. Seems like bigger rooms has bigger bathrooms but be aware that the small room has a small shower.Also the elevator is very small, just two standard adults can fit on it.We went to the rooftop expecting some music and ambience but there was only a tv turned on with a soccer game and nobody watching it, but the bartender was so kind and give us an aperole with decorated cup (flower and heart clips)

Very nice: roof-top terrace and bar, extremely friendly bar tender (who also served coffees for breakfast in the morning);also rest of staff nice and helpful.Good location, quiet but close to center and seafront.

Not so great: each time you open the room door, the main light in the room turns on - not great if you get up way before your family who'd want to sleep longer...; same with cleaning staff taking incredibly long phone calls in front of the room...Breakfast OK, nothing special, but OK - Italian style.

Great location near harbour and ferry dock. Excellent working AC on hot summer days. The breakfast had a good selection. The staff was friendly and helpful. Shout out to Mario for his rooftop drinks and morning cappuccinos!

The rooms are somewhat warn out.

Locations and cleanliness. Facility and staff were great. We particularly liked the wonderful coffees and cocktails which always came with a ‘heart’ and a smile!

Enjoyed it there. Small rooms. But manageable. Excellent location. Parking fee worth it.

Common areas could be cleaner.

Super clean, nice rooms. The 10-15 minute walk to the sea front is a joy in beautiful Santa Margherita. The breakfast was top notch, a wonderful start to your day.

Location was good, Room was not very modern but comfy enough.

I explicitely asked the Staff if the Parking is flat because my car is low, they said it is. Turned out they parked it somewhere where it was not flat and my car scraped like crazy there. Not transparent with parking, if you need parking don't use the Service from the Hotel.
