- Just lovely. Up the hill a little away from business. It felt classy, we had a small terrace and the breakfast was very good.
- Beautiful property located in a central area of Santa Margherita! Clean and spacious rooms with wonderful staff who are friendly and accommodating! We highly recommend!
- Location was splendid.Breakfast was excellent. No buffet but you had an excellent choice with service at your table.
Cons -
- It was classic older building with very nice renovation. Very comfortable and delightful experience.
- The town in general doesn’t have a super easy taxi system - not necessarily the hotel
- Several things in the room were broken, including the sink, and the Wi-Fi did not work at all for the first four days of my stay. I reported the issue to the staff, but my concerns weren’t taken seriously. One staff member was dismissive and told me the Wi-Fi only works if you’re near the reception, which isn’t acceptable for the price I paid.I later spoke with another couple who also said the Wi-Fi hadn’t worked for them either, so I know I wasn’t alone in this. It was finally fixed on the last day of my stay, but by then it was too late. The staff were helpful in some ways, but not as kind or attentive as I expected. Overall, I felt my concerns were brushed off, and I left feeling disappointed — especially since I had chosen this hotel with the expectation of having reliable internet and a pleasant experience.

Beautiful property. Very close to city centre and the beach, about 4 minutes walk. Very tasty breakfast.
The staff was so helpful and the rooms were great value. It was a lovely getaway to a picturesque town

The location was lovely — close to everything and easy to enjoy the area.

Great location, beautiful hotel, accommodating/helpful staff
Great location! Beautiful garden! Quiet neighborhood! Close to city center and the port! Very kind staff! Very good breakfast. We recommend it!
Breakfast was lovely ; good choice and served to you rather than a buffet.
Would be great if bedroom had a kettleIf everyone comes comes to breakfast at once then there is a wait.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and fresh ingredients.
Location, cleanliness, breakfast, staff
Noisy at night, bugs entering from balcony, very small parking place and it is outside the hotel (allocated sidewalk space)
Impeccable staff and service! In a great location - taxis in the Liguria area are expensive which we were already aware of so the proximity to the piazza for restaurants and the port to catch the ferry was great. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again when we come back.
No lift but staff were very helpful with our luggage.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
There was a bright light that came on outside the window that was very bright in our room. We tried to block the light by closing the shutters. There was a lot of noise early in the morning that woke us up several times.
The staff was pleasant, helpful and very accommodating. Breakfast was substantial and there was a nice variety of fruit, croissants along with hot choices. The location was perfect, an easy walk to everything and quiet in the evening. I loved the room with the balcony. My only suggestion would be to add some hooks in the bathroom and a shelf would be nice. There is nowhere to hang a towel or a piece of clothing or a spot to place a toiletry bag. A minor inconvenience but, it would mean a lot less juggling and would be nice.
A wonderful trip. I hope to return!
We were greeted by a lovely young man who couldn’t do enough for us. We needed parking as my husband has a disability, our car was too big to park by the entrance so we had to park in the underground car park next door. Unfortunately it was several floors down and no lift so slightly defeated the object. However, the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as stress free as possible.
The hotel is within a residential area and the hotel and rooms much smaller than expected. I paid for a superior double so my husband had more room to move around and so we had a balcony. Sadly you don’t get the rooms in the pictures, these are junior and executive suites.
The staff were extremely nice and kind! All of them! Bas and pillows were very comfortable, and the breakfast is out of this world! Highly recommended
Breakfast was excellent. The smoked salmon a bonus. The people were nice and gave us a bottle of Prosecco for my gfs birthday. We really liked the private garden area that our room had, the bed was clean and the shower worked well
The lady at the reception acted a little strangely and told me that I shouldn't tell restaurants it was my gfs birthday. That the restaurants wouldn't care.. and that this isn't what people do in Italy. Almost like I had offended her by even asking about it. Well this wasn't true as we later went to the restaurant she had booked us and recommended. They sung happy birthday for 2 people whilst we were there and bought out a candle - very weird as she bought me out a bottle of Prosecco at the hotel, but told me not to ask about it in the future? We were not so keen on the room as it was next to reception and we could hear people at the front desk. It was also quite small. Not so bad to ask for something else but I think you expect a little more for £180 a night
Nice breakfast
Triple room was a bit odd configuration and dark, of course old building. No elevator which was unfortunate because of knee injury.
Good location Room large and spacious. Nice breakfasts. Overall helpful staff.
The room I was in needs maintenance. Leak from what I assume was the bathroom caused damage in luggage room and strong damn smell. Old style property in residential neighbourhood.
The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Viviana, Emanuela and Bruno. The location was great, only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and bars. Santa Margherita is a convenient location to visit other towns along the Italian Riviera.
