The staff were excellent very attentive and the hotel was beautiful and in a great location walkable to town.

The staff, and attention to detail was incredible. Rooms were extremely clean (multiple times per day), facilities were great too (pool beach club etc). Everything was truely exceptional. The view & location was also perfect.

Nothing much, pool could use less salt, pool food could benefit from some salt :)

We stayed in all the 5 star hotels in this area excelsior, imperiale and Miramare is definitely the best! It’s much more luxurious and everything is newer. Amazing breakfast, swimming pool, hotel, beach and the view from the sea view room is absolutely crazy.

Hotel is amazing and these things did not make our stay any worse but just some notes for the hotelOnly downsides were probably the waiters in the breakfast they all seem very stressed and it’s not necessary because when you’re having breakfast you don’t need table service but they are running around pouring water when they should just have that self service. Also I have never had to pay extra for an omelet at a hotel breakfast which is very strange when you’re paying €1000 a nightIt’s strange the lunch is really good with normal portions and decent prices but at dinner the portions for the same things are much smaller and more expensive, dinner restaurant is not good.

House keeping and pool staff were amazing

 Concierge was terrible, suggested terrible excursions that were extremely expensive and poor value.  

We were on a driving road trip through Italy - we enjoyed our 2 days of relaxing by the sea & pool

This property is by far our favorite during our 3 week trip in Italy. The service is outstanding, room was beautiful with terrace. gorgeous pool and restaurant terrace is outstanding. Beach club a bonus and breakfast was wonderful.

The location, food and most importantly the staff were absolutely first classCan’t wait to go back every year!!!

I had the most enchanting stay at this hotel in Italy. It exudes an irresistible old-world charm that immediately captivated me. Situated right on the water near Portofino, the location was simply breathtaking. The hotel's vintage architecture and decor transported me to a bygone era, creating a truly magical ambiance. The views of the water were mesmerizing, and I found myself immersed in the beauty of the surroundings. The staff was incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service, making me feel like a valued guest. If you're looking for a unique and charming experience in a picturesque location, I highly recommend this hotel. It's a true gem that will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Amazing views, wonderful friendly staff & service, breakfast buffet, piano player every night, full service beach & pool,daily maid service, great restaurants, EVERYTHING about this hotel is top notch! Highly recommend!

We were upgraded on arrival, which is always a good start. Reception staff gave us a tour of the Hotel before taking us to our room, & that rarely happens. Even though we still had a Park View room it was very spacious with a walk in closet. A free mini bar of soft drinks that were replenished when used was a bonus. Although the prices for drinks/snacks/food in their bars/restaurants were on the high side, I think it was worth it for the service & attention to detail that was evident everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed the SPA facilities . The beach area had still not been opened & was being refreshed whilst there, but the main pool was clean & very good. Relatively small gardens front & back, but well maintained & presented.
