The family that ran it was exceptionally accommodating.

Great value proposition near Portofino. Comfortable room, great breakfast, nice cozy hotel in a very beautiful location about a 20 minute walk from Portofino or 5 minute bus ride.

The room has a small minibar which is forbidden for storing items bought outside the hotel.

This is a little gem of a hotel if you're looking for a place close enough to walk into Portofino but don't want the Portofino pirice tag. The staff couldn't have more helpful (we left our passports in our room at checkout and they were quick to notify us). The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and our room had it's one bathroom (some rooms do not).

The only issue we had realy had noting to do with the hotel. The hotel is located in Paraggi, which is about 25 minute walk from either Portofino and Pedale.The location that makes it a nice alternitive, also means limited services. Paraggi is very small and there are only four restaurants, all on the beach, and all VERY expensive. Expect to spend $75.00 per person for a dinner meal.

Breakfast wast fine, nothing complex…very simple.

Saturday night scooters zooming by at all hours of the night, but the hotel can’t help that.

The location near Baia Parragia was great. It was wonderful that we could get a carpark beside the hotel. It was quiet. The breakfast was wonderful.

We had to pay an additional €40 or €45 for the car park. We took 2 rooms for our family of 4 (#5 & 9). One of the rooms #9 the air conditioning did not work effectively and we sweated all night. This room also had an external bathroom, and bright sensor lights went off when you went to the bathroom in the night. Requiring two rooms made this expensive rather than good value for money. You still needed to drive to get to Portofino (where we went for dinner) and parking there was difficult.

Location

No facilities to iron even in a communal area. Guests coming home late in groups and being very loud in the old building. We had an early flight and two large groups were very loud inside the property.

Second time staying at this cute little hotel in the best spot of Liguria! Staff is always super helpful and sweet. Our room had a window view to the hills and the trees, beautifully peaceful. Just a few steps from best beach clubs and restaurants. Very good breakfast.

For us everything was good, but as a warning for other visitors the shower is super small and there’s no elevator in the property.

It is 30 min walking distance away from Portofino. A clean place. Staff are very friendly. Nice breakfast. WiFi works very well.

The quaint location of Paraggi was perfect for us, just outside the business of Portofino and Santa Marguerite Ligure. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. There is a beautiful walking path to Portofino from the hotel.

We were there over a very busy, popular weekend and the bus running through Paraggi from Portofino to/from Santa Marguerite would not stop in Paraggi because it was already too full. Be prepared to walk a couple miles to Santa Marguerite in that case.

We really enjoyed staying in hotel Argentina. The location is perfect for exploring both Santa Margherita and Portofino. Breakfast and coffee were amazing and hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located just across the road from the beautiful sandy Paragi beach and various trekking routes round the area. It is 25 mins walk to Portofino and the rote is stunning. We will definitely return sometime soon . Thank you Argentina.

Parking was so easy and close to the hotel - real great in this area. The staff was readily available and helpful.

Staff was good, location was perfect, breakfast was delicious (Definitely make breakfast included) ?

There is no elevator, if you have a backache pls don’t carry heavy baggage with you?

Family run hotel, you can tell they really care about their guests and making sure you have a good stay. The location is great, especially for Portofino and the beach. When we left, the host even gave us a bottle of their home made Limoncello.

The room was a tad small.

The response of the staff was very good. The breakfast was good and I was able to stay comfortably.

Worst choice

Disgusting place that you can only choose. starting from the service, which is completely absent here. From the crazy woman at the reception to the owner of this hotel. If you need a check-in at 8.10pm, then at 8.00pm they finished working. They send you instructions on how to do it yourself. everything seems ok. except that they don’t tell you where the parking is. and they can’t send a picture on WhatsApp with a mark that the parking is “here”. then in the morning they greet you with a scream that the parking is over there. where is the mark about this??? “we shouldn’t have such a map”. great!! then provide service at the cemetery, where no info are needed. people don’t care there. unfortunately. then they take your key, although your things and luggage are in the room. what the hell? the worst place that you can simply choose here. it’s better to pay x2 and not know the worries and troubles, than to get on your nerves for your own money

Great location just across the road from Paraggi beach. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious breakfast included.

The room we booked had a separate bathroom (different entrance off the lobby on the same floor) which was fine. What was not good however was that the bathroom had no ventilation which made it like a sauna. There was a freestanding dehumidifier in the room however not sufficient - the room needs ventilation added!
