    Pros +

    • Great location between the beach and town, loads of options for lunch and dinner within a 10-15 minute walk. The breakfast buffet is good, although the coffee is not good (from a machine) and no decaf coffee option. The room was clean and comfortable although a little on the basic side; no kettle or bin in the room, the hairdryer is the kind you need to keep your finger on the button, the mirror and toilet seat have seen better days. A slight frustration is a few extra charges and deposits for things like using the room safe, towels for the pool. There is no aircon in the room.
    • The reception staff were friendly and cordial. The breakfast was good
    • - wifi worked and was pretty stable- reasonable price- good location, close to the main bus station- coconut ice cream (not served every day)- popular among elder couples (no loud families)- small balcony (for two people) with a decent view, although it's too windy to sit there for long- additional blankets

    Cons -

    • I stayed at Hotel Don Manolito, and unfortunately, my experience was not very pleasant. At first, it seemed we were given a better room, but once the reception realized we were staying with our small dog, they moved us to a different one. The room we got looked nothing like the pictures shown on Booking.com — definitely not what we expected. Also, I asked for a late checkout and was told it would be possible for an extra €30. However, the next morning they suddenly said it wasn’t allowed anymore, which completely ruined our plans for the day. Overall, poor communication and disappointing service.
    • I made a request for gluten free bread and understood that it may not be available on the first morning but there was no effort made to have it for the remainder of the stay. There was no tea making facility in the bedroom so in that event, I would have expected the hotel to provide free tea, coffee and water to all guests or the very least to provide a kettle. this facility was provided in another hotel we stayed in. A small bottle of water could be purchased for 2 euros at reception. Both men managing the dining room were quite rude and abrupt to guests. I observed the older man making a young guest put back a piece of fruit as they had taken two pieces. This attitude does not make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s called the hospitality industry…. Has anyone told them that???
    • - low water pressure in the shower and unstable bath tub- biggest downside for me was that even though the surrounding area is quiet, there are very thin walls, so you can hear neighbors and their tv, every day I was woken up earlier than I had planned- dated and tiny elevator, for max. 3 people- limited vegetarian options- too soft pillows- no fridge

    Staff were very friendly

Breakfast the same every day, bad coffee and juice, and the gym equipment was very outdated. The walls between rooms weren't soundproofed

    Shower a bit iffy

It was clean and staff was very nice :) breakfast were very good. Really pleasant stay!

The hours of breakfast could be a bit longer. The big dispensers for shampoo and gel would be more sustainable I think.

    The location,and the gym

The rooms, the view, the beds, the breakfast every morning is the same(not the best ingredients), the hotel is noisy, and it s just not like in the pictures. The staff is very rude. They can t speak english like absolutely zero. If you need something they didnt want to help.

It was quite good. The food was tasty, friendly service, nice view from the room.

Thin walls in the room, you could hear the neighboring room. At breakfast you can get coffee but unfortunately only grain. I think there should be information about this because we felt misled.

The pool is very nice, rooms are spacious and clean, perfect location, close to the center but quiet, very helpful staff.

No mini fridge in the room, breakfast could have been better, a few more options and variations day to day would have been nice.

exccellent service, clean, Great buffet for both dinner and breakfast and very reasonable price

Mattress was very soft. This was the only complaint

    9YuliaPosted on: 1-17-2024

The location is very good, close to the centre of the town. There are lots of very good restaurants within a short walk. The walk to the Loro park takes 20 min, can go back by their free train. Short walk to the bus station to go to Jardin Botanico or Orotava. We had a room with the ocean view, which was a bonus. The area aroung swimming pool is very green, pretty gardens and birds are singing.

The breakfast time 7.30 till 9.30 is not comfortable for a holiday hotel. Altough the staff is doing their best to clear the tables, majority of customers arrive after 9.00, therefore there is shortage of table. I would appreciate a longer time for breakfast. The breakfast was quite monotonous, same dishes every day.

Loved the location and the clean rooms. The staff were very good too

Food was above average but breakfast had limited choice

    10LukaPosted on: 12-19-2023

I liked everything especially the location. It is so close to the beaches. I have to mention that the food in the hotel is very delicious and staff are very nice and helpfull especially one german guy with glasses who workes there..I forgot his name unfortunately. The hotel has everything you need. Would stay there again for sure!

We found a cockroach in our room but I think it got inside while we opened the balcony during the night. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Impressive Gym for a hotel, more like a fitness centre. Best Gym I have seen so far, and I have been in a lot of 4* Hotels. Staff was very friendly and spoke German, Spanish and English.

I truly loved this place! Puerto de la Cruz itself and also this hotel. Perfect location close to playa jardin and very quiet at night, but still in walking distance to the center. very nice and helpful staff, nice pool and spacious rooms. good offer for value, and much more familiar than most hotels in puerto. I felt at home and will definitly come back?

well, there's not much to compain about. I would have loved to have a fridge in the room and the cleaning staff woke me up several times moving around beds upstairs...but thats only a problem if you like to get up late?

    6GarbaczPosted on: 10-21-2023

    Location, kindly staff, sparkling clean.

The hotel is highly in need of renovation and redesigning! There was no airconditioner... The breakfast was too simple and soft drinks were horrible.

    9MichaelPosted on: 8-15-2023

Ideal location for the town area very flat so suitable for us oldies staff very friendly helpful

    9JaanusPosted on: 4-28-2023

Good quiet location but close to centre and bus station. Staff was very friendly. Nice buffet breakfast with lot of options to choose from.

Nothing I could think of. Even missing a minifridge and tea/coffe maker wasn't a problem.
