    Pros +

    • The hotel was nice and met our expectations. Lots of restaurants and beach access are within walking distance. Although not related to the hotel, the nearby natural pasinas were the highlight of our 13 day visit.
    • The food, the staff, the pool
    • Rooms were clean. Beds were super comfortable. Facilities great. The breakfast was outstanding.

    Cons -

    • Checkin process is a little challenging since they do not have a drop off location. The front of hotel faces a pedestrian promenade. We had to illegally park in a loading area. Also, there is no direct access to the hotel from their car park.
    • Nothing of note. Would be lovely if the bar/cafe on the rooftop bar opened an hour earlier.
    • - Difficult to figure out parking when first arriving.- neighbor smoked and the smell got into my room. Had to ask 3 times to change rooms- Asked if I could work at a table and was told yes. Another employee told me I had to buy a drink. Little things like that added up

Great location with excellent staff. Beautiful views and a nice pool and bar. Superb breakfast selection!

    Bar closed too early

This hotel is more suitable for families without toddlers. You won’t find play areas or small pools for kids in the hotel—these can be found outside the hotel. However, there is a garden in the courtyard where you can run on the grass. Otherwise, the hotel has everything you need, along with excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

The hotel is excellently located, very good, fair quality, with a super-rich breakfast, but... I could never imagine so much disrespect towards the customer! I purchased accommodation at this hotel for a frontal sea view room and received one with a side view of the sea and a bed for a child, a bed that blocks access to the normal bed. Even the receptionist was surprised that I didn't have a child with me and stated that it must be a system error. It can happen, but I don't want to wait more than an hour for someone to take the cot from the room I was forced to stay in. It was explained to me that it is superior in quality! Maybe, but I wanted a sea view room and I paid for it. I noticed that neither Puerto de la Cruz nor the whole of Tenerife is anymore like it was 15 or 10 years ago, but the chaos created and the lack of respect for the customer seem unacceptable to me. If I accept the chaos of life, because I have nowhere to go, I don't accept disrespect towards the customer! PS: the cot was not picked up by anyone from the hotel! After 2.5 hours I took him out into the hallway...Embarrassing and...embarrassing!

The attitude of the reception staff. Seemingly kind, even empathetic. In reality, I was given a completely different room than the one I had paid for.

Pool at the top, nice personal

If you come by car, parking is challenging. Instructions for parking should be written on booking already or atleast that is better to call before arrival. Therefore if you coming by car, call or write before arrival to get instructions. Try to get room with view on the sea..

We arrived about 5.00 with our border collie dog, having been told by booking.com that this hotel is pet friendly. It is, with a 5kg limit on dogs. However, the management were flexible for the one night we had booked and allowed us to stay. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a fantastic view over the ocean. We went out of the hotel for dinner and found a great choice of places to eat.Breakfast in the hotel was impressive, an excellent choice of high quality, freshly cooked foods, cheeses, meats bread and pastries. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient.Would love to return, if they would allow our dog.

    Poor information from booking.com

The swimming pool was a little bit small

Breakfast was amazing, right on the seafront by the lido. So very central and the staff go way beyond what is expected of them

We have stayed here before in a different room and different part of the hotel which was lovely.

The room was dated and the bathroom was tiny with limited products for a four star hotel. We were on the second floor and the noise from the cafe ( even in the afternoon the clattering of cups etc and then the music and trumpeter starting at 5pm)and hotel bar was dreadful. The patio door didn’t close properly and it was single glazed ?Breakfast and evening meal selection was good but hot food was cold. We even went down at opening time for dinner and it was still cold and over cooked. Why!!

Location great, pool wonderful, breakfast ample. The staff were friendly and advised us on some local festivities we wouldn't have known about otherwise. It's located right in front of the large pool complex, and a block away from the train to the Loro Parque. The parking was extra and very tight, but better than trying to find parking on the street.

    The location was excellent

We had a sea view room which had green mould on the wall panel and black mould in the shower and wasn’t very clean. There was imitation grass on the balcony floor giving off a bad smell. We upgraded to a deluxe room after 2 nights. It was a little better but not worth the upgraded price. Both bathrooms were identical, badly planned and extremely cramped which is unnecessary as both rooms were large enough to accommodate a more generous space. The toilets are jammed against the shower screens. The breakfast had good choices but nothing was hot. Teapots/ coffee machines/toaster/some of the crockery were in a poor state. The location is excellent, most staff were helpful and polite but it’s a 3 star…. no free safe or water in the room as standard which are basic requirements for this grade of hotel. Overall disappointing.

Location is good. Beautiful views from the top swimming pool.

The room was extremely dark, interior and at the back of the kitchen so you had the noise of the machines all-time. Installations at the room are not for a 4 stars standards. Room very small, TV not working properly, bin at the bathroom broken, after cleaning, they left very obvious dirty glasses in the toilet, buffet.. food not looking fresh and good looking for Spanish standards. Parking expensive and tricky to park in the slot allocated as it is quite tight and inconvenient for dropping luggage, it's located in a different location. Nice location but not returning.

Very nice and clean. Very clean. Some of the rooms are probably a little noisy. I stayed in a room with ocean view and beside the shows that ends at 11 pm, we can heard some noises from others rooms.

You can reach at hotel very easily by walking, but with the car is a little complicated. You have a street near by to bring the car, unload the luggage and the go in other place to find parking.

The room was excellent and the view from our balcony was wonderful. The buffet style breakfast was excellent with absolutely everything you could possibly want. The hotel was immaculately clean.. All the staff we met were professional and friendly.

To be honest, I cannot think of anything I would have improved on.

    7WarunyaPosted on: 9-16-2024

    Excellent location

There was cockroach in the room during stay. When I told at the reception the answer and their solution was “SORRY” that’s all. Lot of noise from the bar where located below hotel restaurant every evening/night. The curtain of the room does not completely keep dark to the room. There are entered light from street outside that effect to sleep quality. Pillows are also issue. Quality of breakfast could be better.

    10YajairaPosted on: 9-12-2024

The breakfast was exceptional—so varied and complete that I highly recommend opting for it, as it’s truly worth it. The rooms were fully equipped with all amenities, and although the view was from the side of the building rather than directly facing the beach, the terrace was cozy and perfect for enjoying the morning breeze. The rooftop pool was heated, offering incredible views. The staff was very friendly, especially the housekeepers, who ensured the room was immaculate every day. If we go back to Puerto de la Cruz we will repeat in the same hotel with no doubts :)

    Spacious room and clean

The building seems modern from the outside. However, the inside is old. It could have been classic but, no, it’s just old. They added details to force the room look more modern (big photo over the bed) but it certainly looks of poor taste. We wanted ocean view and they gave us a room on the first floor where the noise from the bars downstairs was unbearable. The air-conditioning was set to 18 degrees which for us was cold but opening the windows with the noise of the street was out of the question. The staff of the night reception hardly spoke any English nor did he know how to manage the complaints of the customers. The hotel needs to be renovated in many aspects to claim the money it does for the rooms.
