The hot water and the shower , the view from the balcony
The walls were thin and you could hear all the sounds of the hotel all the time, there were sounds all night, the room there was no heating, kitchen facilities and utensils were very limited and the bed was uncomfortable. I don't recommend
Is nothing to be liked. Everything inside is very old. The sheets need urgently changed. The same for the towels. The furniture is broken and looks quite old. Also, there is a smell of old things.
Please see the above.
I was aware of low rates of this property, but all in all its was good, stuff friendly, room was clean, good working wi fi, plus its on good location. One day we tried breakfast, its was so and so, cost around 10 euros PP.
Pool was not heated
Good location. Balcony. It had a little kitchenette, which was very helpful
It was a bit odd that there’s kitchenette but no kettle in the room.
The receptionist was so kind and friendly. The room was comfortable, there was everything you need in the kitchen, everything was a little old but clean. The pool is huge! A great value for what you pay
Well equipped kitchen, everything in working condition.
Hotel strongly demands renovation. Cockroaches and another small insects in the room.WC wasn't flushing .
On a plus side, very clean, great staff all around, no complaints about that at all.On the negative, there is no water power for toilet or shower, and needs new shower head, scale build up, awful spray of shower head. The studio needs a revamp and decorate.I requested a kettle and toaster (i had thought it was included in the room), and they kindly delivered a kettle and a brand new toaster to room the same day. Thank you very much.Stunning view from our 4th floor studio and nice small terrace with two sun loungers if required ?
Having a balcony with a nice view was the icing on the cake. Hotel facilities were good having a breakfast and dinner option for you choose if required.
There was noting we didn’t dislike
Food in the restaurant, and the staff in the reception were excellent
The studio in first floor was too small for 3 people, and the pillows for the beds were very uncomfortable. Bathroom also not very comfortable for big persons
Great customer service throughout from all staff. Clean room and bedding, useful kitchenette. Good location for exploring the area. Really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel was perfect for us, a family of three. We had booked it with breakfast included. Since the apartment comes with a small kitchenette, evening dinner was easy to handle here. There is a supermarket very nearby. Breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of things to choose from. The staff was very kind and helpful all the time. Room keeping went very well, and we had a nice and clean room, bathroom, and balcony which was right at the same level as the large seating terrace. The hotel is conveniently located near bus stop Tucan (100m) so very easy to reach by public transport (we took the bus 30 from North airport). Therefore the botanical garden is also a relatively short walk (10-15 minutes). You can reach the city centre and boulevard going down, which takes about 15 minutes. We had a room facing the street, which also gave us a good view of El Teide.
The outdoor pool was very nice, but we were a bit surprised to find out it was not heated (at least it seemed to us quite cold). I guess in hot weather this makes a lot of sense, but we were there at the end of December/start January.
The view over mountain and sea
Studio was more like a hotel room. Not big at all Very dated decor, it needs modernising. Loud in corridors in the night. Breakfast wasn’t great, but for €8 I suppose it was ok, coffee was horrible. Bathroom has a leaking bidet and wobbly shower head holder. Balcony was very small. Kitchen didn’t have a sharp knife nor a kettle. The hotel was up a hill, so a struggle to get back up to from the main beach and restaurants. I wouldn’t come back. But the staff were nice and helpful.
Poor
I was robbed during the night in the room while sleeping.People get in the room through the balcony.Reception person told me that this never happened before and to be honest he didn't take it seriously as the robbery has happened within hotel property. At the same time the police said it is common for this hotel and the hotel itself do not want to install CCTV cameras. Then just checked in detailed the hotel reviews and other people had the same issue in the past. Just please be careful!
I cancelled the trip after reading all the complains about bed bugs and cockroaches, also steeling seems to be a problem. I did not regret my choice, would have liked to get the same information on booking.com as I did on google. Read before you book!
Staff was kind
There were cockroaches in the room, even inside the freezer and the bed was so uncomfortable that I decided to sleep in the couch
Being on the top floor we had a lovely large balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for some of the main bus routes. The price we paid was very good value
The hotel is located a bit up hill from main front area, but it wasn't a long walk, but not ideal if you have difficulty walking up steep stairs. The taxis are very reasonable so not really a major issue. An upgrade in mattresses would be recommended to hotel owners as some are not the comfiest.
