Thon Hotel Svolvær

This hotel is wonderful! Great location! The rooms are clean, comfy, and offer an incredible view. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff are very friendly. I loved my stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lofoten!

The only thing I would recommend is a microwave in the room, and maybe a mini fridge with an actual freezer.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff efficient and friendly. The sauna was great. We hired a tour guide, Odd-Petter Tanke Jensen with Landscape of Lofoten and we found my grandmother's church and homestead. The area is beautiful and we will come back! Nothing, even the weather was dry , sunny, and perfect, almost too hot!

Good breakfast.Room size is ok for 2-3 big luggages.Location.Shower and toilet is big enough for two.Big coffee machine services at ground floor 24/7.

It need proper cleaning in the room, mainly dust around the area I.e top table.

I liked the breakfast buffet, A very large selection of food.

The beds are too small

The hotel is well situated - the room was very big and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and breakfast was amazing with an enormous selection - we enjoyed our stay

The hotel served the best breakfast I’ve ever had - so many options, all prepared with great care. The room was tidy and very spacious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The coffee and tea was available all day and the breakfast was plentiful with lots of selection and very good food. The staff was very friendly.

It would have been nice to have the sauna included in the price of the hotel room.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great amenities, including restaurant and sauna. Clean rooms. Very quiet rooms…slept like a baby. Central location within walking distance to everything in the town

Similar to other European countries, it appears that hotels do not provide wash cloths for showering. If you’re used to having one, especially after a long day of hiking, you may want to bring your own.

Good location, lovely staff, excellent breakfast!

Spacious, really comfortable room. Lovely décor throughout the hotel. Great breakfast options and amazing pizzas in the restaurant.

Just some small annoyances... No milk in the room for tea/coffee, had to ask reception to pour some into a small bottle. Floor to ceiling window in the room is great for views, but the curtains don't reach the floor which isn't ideal for midnight sun!

Great location, easy walk to harbor. Very nice and attentive staff. Floating sauna was fabulous. Food was amazing! Don’t forget to check the rooftop for amazing view

I loved the sauna but it was extra charge and I think it should be included for the guests

Waking up to such a stunning view was truly unforgettable.The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was well-equipped, with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The overall design of the room made it feel both stylish and welcoming.The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options, including bread, smoked salmon, local specialties, and a great selection of drinks. Enjoying breakfast while overlooking the beautiful harbor was a highlight of my stay.The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always ready to help with recommendations and any requests. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable.Overall, I had an amazing experience at Thon Hotel Svolvær. From the beautiful location to the excellent service, everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Svolvær!

The views from the room were lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the restaurant was delicious. Special mention regarding the breakfast...delicious, fresh and home made!Add to that, the beauty of the surrounding area of Svolvaer and you have a winning combo!

Great Breakfast. Spacious rooms, clean. Awesome coffee available at all times of day. Very convenient for travelling on Hurtigruten.
