This time No
The building has no elevator and is very noisy. I have booked and stayed with you many times. I am very disappointed this time.
Great hotel in Svolvaer. Breakfast was fantastic. Some of the staff we interacted with seemed irritated or angry while others were lovely. Overall a mixed bag experience.
parking at the hotel is on first come first serve basis, and can be reserved only 3pm-3pm...thankfully lots of street parking available nearby
Breakfast Buffet top notch.
Twin beds small. Parking was limited. Someone parked in our spot but reception found us another. Be aware that parking is first come first serve and is additional cost (we knew additional cost, but didn’t know there’s only twenty something spots.
Good location in the heart of svolvaer, comfortable bed and good view of the city and mountain and staff has great service
I was initially assigned to a room where there is a steps to get to (not practical at all) you have to carry all the luggages to your room
Location, view and great breakfast and staff
All was great except fire alarm going off at 3 am.
Listen, the lobby and public areas are beautiful and the breakfast spectacular, but what they don’t tell you or show in pictures of is a 3 floor, dark, narrow, dated annex with about 30 rooms that is awful (I’ll add some). I booked based on photos and description but got assigned a room in this annex which you enter through a service door like a 2nd class citizen. I would call this deceitful on the park of the hotel. I still paid over $200/night for this traffic room.
This annex. My room, with a view of the building next door had a small window which was broken so I could seal out all the talking outside the bar and side hotel entrance. The shower head was clogged, the hallways dark and narrow like a bad college dorm. I go no sleep and was simply angry all night long
Excellent location. Excellent breakfast.
No instruction leaflet in room on how to work the coffee machine.Safe in room did not open as per the start up instruction on its outside.Light switches in room always a puzzle.Restaurant closed on Sunday evening - is there any other hotel of this standard and price which does'nt feed its guests on a Sunday.
The hotel is perfectly located in the village center. The view from our 5 th floor was one of the best views I’ve ever had. Just stunning. Room was perfectly decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 5 stars VIP level!. The hotel is definitely feels like 5 stars relative to ??
1. Expensive parking , additional fee2. No hair conditioner (essential for me)
Bar and restaurant were great, and staying in a central location in Svolvær was convenient.
Somewhat grimy in some areas, and the room was uncomfortable with a terrible view. Breakfast was good but unspectacular compared to Norwegian standards
The location is super with fantastic breakfast. The harbour is just next to the hotel and we can have a good rest at hotel until boarding on the cruise.
The breakfast variety is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious. I truly appreciated the quality and selection available. The hotel reception staffs were helpful and friendly.
I had a disappointing experience with the breakfast service. The attitude of one of the waitresses was quite rude. Myself and other guests who were unfamiliar with the coffee machine tried to ask for guidance, only to be met with shouting. She repeatedly asked, "What do you want?" in a harsh and unfriendly tone. I felt uncomfortable and ended up walking away without getting my coffee.Breakfast is an important start to the day, especially while traveling, and the morning staff should set a welcoming tone. If a staff member is feeling grumpy or unapproachable, perhaps a morning shift is not the best fit. Guests should not have to start their day feeling unwelcome or uncomfortable due to poor service. I hope this can be addressed to improve the overall experience for future guests.
