The place is well kept. hotel employee gave helpful advice.

For those who wish to cook, cooking facilities are limited. I went to a local restaurant, so this did not bother me.

The location was good.

No kitchen, no microwave, lots of stairs as the reception & rooms start on the second floor. It’s an old, mostly smelling building. However the rooms are nice and the beds decent & restrooms are nice with very nice showers.

Wow, what a place. Central location but quiet in the rooms at night. Everything you need and all major attractions are in walking distance. Old building with spacious rooms and high ceiling. Fast WiFi, big community shared fridge. I arrived early in the morning, hours before official check in but I go my room and bed immediately. Host is an interesting guy with a lot of knowledge and life experience. Staff is so helpful. Open minded atmosphere, easy to get in contact with other guests. Next time in Thessaloniki I will definately stay there again

I liked the look of the old building. Super friendly staff and a lot of young people. I will come again!

Female owner was an excellent communicator and very helpful with some excellent recommendations and advice.Location of hostel was perfect. Room size good.

Bathroom ran out of toilet paper, wifi was sporadic - but ok (just).If you had a washing machine, we would have rebooked.

Loud music at night, owners dog is your problem, lacking bed curtains, windows in room let light in all night, cold showers. Overall terrible sleep.

Horrible staff

I had lost my key card and they had me put a deposit down on it. In the morning I got all ready to go and waited to see a staff member to speak to but there was none. Finally after some hours a cleaning lady came and I asked if I could check out and get my deposit. She went and got the owner who immediately started screaming at me that I needed to check out and to get my things together. She was awful and really ruined my experience. It was the second time I had to wait hours and hours to speak to a staff member which I was not even angry about but why would you treat a guest this way? They should have someone at reception during the checkout time but thw woman told me i should have found her in the common area when i had never met her before a d i had no idea how to find any staff. I come to thessaloniki every other year and i will never again return to this hostel and I will not advise my friends to stay here with such horrible staff.

Convenient location and fair price. Host was very helpful. Overall the place met my expectations.

The place was seemingly clean but it didn't feel comfortable in this sense. The room was not ventilated well, the cabinet stank and there was no hanger in the shower.

Nice, helpful staff; big, comfortable beds; very good air conditioning; huge, very clean bathrooms. The location of the hostel is relatively good, on a 15-20 min. walking distance from the Main railway station/Main bus station and the very heart of the city. A super vibrant neighborhood, with a lot of bars and restaurants.

The staff must check more often the availability of toilet paper in the bathrooms.With a few exceptions, the buildings in the neighborhood where the hostel is located are extremely ugly in terms of appearance. This, however, does not apply to the bars and shops that are located inside.

it was a good location and the female bedroom had ac. the kitchen had a fridge for all to use and an espresso machine (unsure if that was for all, though, but I went out for freddo espressos regardless)

there was only cold water in both showers on the top floor. in the female room, the shower water would run almost into the bedroom. there were no shades or any privacy from others.

It was clean, I liked the bed layout and the rooms were mostly quiet and stayed cool.

This is not really the hostels fault but I put some left over pizza in the fridge. I then left the hostel for no more than an hour. When I came back I was ready for another slice. Some little piggy decided that they were going to steal two slices of my pizza while I was gone, leaving me with one slice. It was my understanding that if something in a communal refrigerator was not mine, it is not mine to take. The pizza thief waited for me to leave and must’ve ran straight to the fridge as soon as I left to begin their illegal indulgence in what was not theirs to take. I return to the hostel to find an empty kitchen and everyone conveniently asleep in their rooms.

The host Gul was super kind and nice, also the other workers. The bathroom+shower is large, private (you can lock it entirely for yourself) and very comfortable.The rooms and beds are large, there is also place to put your stuff next to the bed + locker. There is a common area downstairs + nice balcony. Located right next to the vibrant part of the city.

- 4 beds (2x2) connected to each other and shaking easily in any movement- hot water might be a little warmer (a few celcius more)

Location in the center. Nearby the metro station. Spacious bathroom and bedroom. A lot of spaces to put luggages. Good coffee from the host.

This hostel was a nice stay but there are two things that could be improved, and I lowered my overall rating because of these. Most importantly, the lockers need improvement. The locking mechanism on them is not secure enough, the design is too flimsy and requires at the least a padlock with a very thick shaft. And the lockers in the hallway which have the entire locking mechanism ripped out of them doesn't instill much confidence. The second thing is that a lot of hostels seem now to have some kind of curtain on the beds to offer more privacy, but not this one. It would be nice at least on the lower beds.

Location is quick ten minutes walk from Thessaloníki main train station. Five minutes walk to airport bus stop. Warm welcome from Ella who helped me with my carry on luggage. Beds are well designed & spacious. Wooden steps make access to top beds easy. Bathrooms were clean. Thanks Gul for nice hot coffee from 0830hours. Lots of eating places nearby. Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception five minutes walk away has Sunday mass in English at 1900hours.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were large and clean. It was close to the train station.

The room I stayed in was on one of the main roads, so it was noisy at night. There was no curtain on the window near my bed, so the light from the street came in at night.

The hosts were lovely and very helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the amenities worked well and there was the cutest hostel dog!

Nothing! It was perfect for everything I needed.
