My partner and I stayed at the Bayview Motel Rosebud/Rye in early Feb 2026 for one night and we had a wonderful time there. The facilities were clean, neat, tidy and presentable. The staff were very friendly and even upgraded us to a balcony room, overlooking Rosebud beach! The bed was comfortable and the room very spacious. Would definitely stay there again.
It was one of the few cheaper options available at the end of the school holidays, but still overpriced for what you got. A basic room. One of the few motels in Australia that still gives biscuits with the free tea/coffee. Not much choice for tea, though.

Location and Unit setup was in a good location.
Only if they had a smart TV it would have been perfect. Couldn't use a power point on one side of the bedside table, even the lamp was unplugged.
We had a very comfortable stay here. Our room had a balcony with an ocean view, it was very clean and spacious with lots of charm. Also great value for the price, we'll book again.
