Mantra Castle Hill Sydney

The staff were wonderful. The layout of the rooms was great - good size. The water pressure was fantastic and the convenience of location to where we needed to be was great. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily.

Some of the beds weren’t perfect - not enough padding over the springs anymore. Master suite was great.

Location was excellent, and had parking included at no extra cost. We could walk to the conference we were attending, no need to be frustrated by Sydney traffic.

Car parking not secure The gate to enter was broken and other gate was open 24/7There was some rubbish in the car park and a car that was up on ramps and obviously been there some time Room could do with a deeper clean at times cobwebs and few things not cleanCould do with re equipping the self contained apartment

The location was really handy for us and we had space to spread out. Great to have a washing machine and dryer

The room was not fully clean, needs to have a bit of a extra attention with cleaning but linen and towels were great

Not much to like. Very old and neglected

In need of much updating. Hairdryer was broken and smoked on turning on. Iron board broken, cupboard shelves broken, fridge shelf broken.The same rubbish was outside our door in the carpet for 2 days. Airconditioning was hit or missMaintenance is non existent. Cleaning procedures joke. Very underwhelming property

Wasn’t super clean. Bed didn’t feel like the quilt was cleaned.

Location is great

Overall the room needed a good cleaning. The settee is worn out and uncomfortable. The bed hard on the hips.

Easy comfortable All I needed

It would be great if the Mantra had a small coffee or breakfast lounge. When I had to be at a conference at 8:30 , I had to find somewhere locally just to have something to eat beforehand. It doesn’t have to be fancy but just convenient ( and not some machine in the lobby please ).

The place looks tired a d dirty. I wo t be returning.

Needs maintaining, carpets look dirty, curtain rail bent.

Sheets were clean.Bathroom well equipped.

Noisy,truck at 3.30 was reversing and woke us up.Bedroom was hot as air con in lounge room.When one watches TV had to close bedroom door and very hot in bedroom.Had 1 bed light?No plug for bath,no bottled water.

Dirty, toilet was not even cleaned on our arrival , sink didn’t drain , cutlery cups, bowls ,glasses “all not washed “ had food stains, lips marks,Dated tea/ coffee stains on the cups.Carpet not really vacuumed

Lounge broken. No fans or cooling in bedroom..

Free parking

Tired, run down, room felt dirty and for the love of god do not look under your bed sheets. Fortunately we only saw what lay beneath as we were packing to checkout.

Cleanliness of room, aged crockery in kitchen, broken curtains&No air conditioning in bedroom.

Absolutely awful

It was filthy everything was broken I paid for a king and on the first night I got a queen and didn’t get money back for the mistake the washing machine flooded everywhere there was cockroaches no kettle it was filthy couldn’t watch normal tv cups and plates were dirty the place needs to be condemned

Onsite parking

Apart from being locked out of our room for 7 hours due to a door malfunction and no emergency locksmith? One of the bedrooms had no curtains and staff were unable to assist with that. There were not enough towels, not even enough for one per guest. There was a grimey cap under the table (guess the cleaner didn't do such a great job) and the room's overall decor was very old. It's located in the middle of an industrial area, surrounded by warehouses.

Shower door wouldn’t close completely. Reported to staff on check-out. Gym had basic equipment.

The staff were lovely , we had an after hours checkin .

The lounge was red but you could see how dirty it was and how badly it needs a clean. It didn’t feel nice sitting on it . The curtain in the room was all ripped and needs replacing . The shower drain had handfuls of hair in it from previous guests . There was tea and coffee on the counter but no milk to make a cuppa and no vending machines to get food or snacks (or milk for that matter).

The Mantra was a little hard to find but it suited us for our stay and was good value and comfortable and clean.

The facilities are looking a little old and worn.
