Gorgeous property, excellent rooms, fantastic rooftop pools with amazing views

No ocean access from beach. Food was good, but not outstanding.

The pool was spectacular and the views were breathtaking. The room was also nice, if not a bit strangely organized.

They had lost or had never received our Booking.com reservation, so it took a really long time to check in, with a lot of confusion and lack of communication. From the moment I stepped on the property, I felt like a burden. There was also no service at the pools and the restaurant’s food was mediocre at best. And the margaritas tasted like lemon-lime Gatorade mixed with tequila. I would never come here again despite the beautiful views. We only stayed here one night before going to the hotel next door to this one- the Esperanza- which was an exceptional hotel in terms of beauty and service and one I would absolutely recommend.

Our room was beautiful, and the whole property was quiet because it is located away from the hotel zone. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the food was amazing.

The moment after we checked in we were turned over to someone who was going to "give us a tour of the hotel" but in reality was a time-share salesman. But on the plus side, once we told him "no thanks" we were not bothered about it again for the rest of the trip.
