Villa La Estancia Beach Resort and Spa Los Cabos

Too much construction noise

Location reasonable price and outstanding service

Means of transportation controlled by the property

Rooms were huge. Resort was small and beautiful. Food and drinks were amazing!!

No coffee shop included with the all inclusive and was separate.

Breakfast was great . Food tasted great service was excellent

Need bigger restroom by the pool

The views at Villa La Estancia are beautiful. The courtyard and pools are very clean and well maintained. You’re allowed to dine at the tied neighboring properties, Villa del Palmar and Villa Del Arco, but you can’t use their pools. Villa La Estancia has a very relaxing and laid back vibe whereas the other two are livelier. A bit of music at the pool would have been nice. There’s a private beach in front of the property you’re allowed to dip into that was clean and fun to have attached to the property.The staff were incredible and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! It was my husband’s birthday and they were kind enough to decorate the room for our arrival. Also, every night we were provided bottled waters and cookies, which was a nice touch!We loved that property was about a 20 min walk to some great restaurants and it was easy to explore the downtown area during our stay.

The room we had was pretty dated. The couch was stained and the bed frames were loose. They squeaked anytime we sat on the bed or turned over in our sleep. We mentioned the bed to the staff and they had maintenance come in and fix it immediately which is really nice, but because the furniture is so old it was squeaky by the next morning. Our room had doubles and both beds had the problem.

The pool hours feel like the hours can be longer on weekends and close past 10 pm

We were there during the low season, so the property wasn’t full. The property is very quiet and a great place to rest. They do accept kids, but there isn’t kids activity

The food is expensive in the property

via la estancia was incredibly clean facility. Great place for a very laid-back experience.  you can tell this is not a timeshare facility.  the units are much bigger as far as square footage, which leads to a smaller amount of guests at one time and you noticed this. just go next-door to either facility and you’ll see a big difference. 

the pools were great and the location was perfect to get to the Marina and downtown quickly. Every person on the staff was friendly and helpful

Nothing major to call out except a bit more variety of food at the pool bar.

Lovely beachfront resort with friendly staff. All the staff were very courteous and always had a smile.Reserved a one bedroom condo with full kitchen, two full bathrooms and huge balcony equipped with bbq, dining set and lounge chairs.Extremely clean and well maintained facilities. Mostly family oriented and quiet in the evenings. Nightlife can be found at the sister resorts on either side.

Only two restaurants (the two sister resorts next door have more than twice as many restaurants each).

Lu Lapita at check in was very uncooperative.

Everything was fantastic regarding the hotel property.

Lu Lapita was our lady at check in that gave me all kinds of trouble about having a visitor in my room. I paid for a meal plan and she wouldn’t give me a wristband but wouldn’t refund the money for the wristband either. I wasted a great deal of time with her and just finally left.

there are a few chaise lounges on the beach, but no drink service. The beach is swimmable but is ruined by panhandlers trying to sell you stuff and the hotel doesn’t do anything to try and keep them away from guests. The restaurant food is awful and so so expensive. They put up a red flag at the beach because they don’t have lifeguards there even though the beach is safe to swim.

Food is waaay over priced and bad. we ordered a few different dishes for lunch and not 1 we could say was good. Also check in is at 4pm (if you are lucky you can get it around 2-3) and checar out is at 11 am…

Villa La Estancia was wonderful! The setting was stunning and the room exceeded our expectations. It was over 2,000 square feet and perfect for our party of six. Two huge bedrooms, a large living area, full size kitchen and three bathrooms afforded us plenty of living space for our week stay. The balconies overlooked the Sea of Cortez and the beautiful pool facility. It was a dream, made that much better by a gentle, kind, caring staff of hard working people. We loved every minute of our stay at Villa La Estancia and we would recommend it highly!

Staff were very friendly. Very safe location. And the property was well maintained. Restaurant service was very good and the food was very good.

Can't think of anything

We loved how attentive the staff were to us. They definitely wanted us to be happy and we were! The rooms were spacious and the balcony was amazing!

The only thing I didn't like is when we were on the beach and trying to relax, the vendors kept interrupting us. This isn't the hotels fault but it is annoying.
