    Pros +

    • Breakfast was standard, nothing mind blowing but has what’s you expect and lots of variety. The pool was great, even if salty, and the lawn chairs on grass were great.
    • Views were amazing
    • Beach, room, staff

    Cons -

    • Fresher ingredients, more local ingredients, better spreads. The lunch and dinner were quite expensive for what it was. The annex is not too far away yet still an uphill walk.
    • October 1st most of the local restaurants closed for the season. As the hotel was still open and taking bookings we expected there may have been more choice. Our fault really but still a bit of a disappointment. Would come to this area again but a couple of weeks earlier in the season.Annex rooms need a refurb...the shower curtain...yuk! Would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities.

Delightful staff, excellent location, charming hotel.

It’s probably about time that the bathrooms were renovated.

    9RobertPosted on: 10-6-2024

Endearing and accommodating staff who were a credit to the hotel. Wonderful gardens and beautiful views especially at breakfast. The garden suite room was spacious and inviting. Glad we went and B&B worked very well for us.

Breakfast was simple with a variety of choice and excellent coffee. The only disappointment was a significant extra charge for variety of eggs - poached eggs @€15. Given that we paid so much for the garden suite perhaps this could have been included. Perhaps as nobody was eating eggs with a charge better to simply remove it as an option. A coffee machine in the room would also have been welcomed. However, these are just minor complaints and overall we were more than satisfied

Amazing access to the sea / private beach. Lovely area and easy access to restaurants. Clean and very big rooms

    7JohnPosted on: 9-27-2024

The sight was good, the view across the bay exceptional and the gardens relaxing.

    10ChristopherPosted on: 9-19-2024

Hotel staff were very attentive, polite and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Customer service was excellent. We stayed in a garden suite which was beautifully furnished and modern.

Not much to dislike. Main building is arguably slightly dated but this would not deter us from staying again.

Great location for the coastal sea view (if your room allows). Good breakfast. Decent TV in the room.

Dated accommodation that didn't live up to the booking.com images for the room booked. Poorly fitting, single-glazed rattling doors and windows. There are signs of investment, so try and secure a refurbished room if you prefer something from the 21st Century. Lacklustre management - you don't give the worst sea view in the building to a customer who booked and paid six months in advance!

    9AmyPosted on: 8-26-2024

Full of character, in a beautiful spot overlooking the bay.

No access to drinks from the private beach area and the pool area requires a tidy up with comfier sun beds and parasols and the pool needs painting.

    9Jean-MichelPosted on: 8-18-2024

Superb location. The staff was very friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The room was comfortable with view over the bay. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The piano player every evening allowed us to enjoy beautiful music around the pool. We enjoyed every minute of the stay

Not much to say. The bathroom fixtures could be updated.

    7MilanPosted on: 8-12-2024

Location, brand new room (one of few in the hotel), food in the restaurant, as well as restaurant views, were stunning. Staff is very kind and helpful

Rigid policies e.g. 10AM breakfast cut-off was disappointing for a holiday destination - by 10.30 you are asked to leave the table. 10AM checkout was also too early - you can get a courtesy room for that day, but it is filthy, so avoid it. Our room was one of several refurbished ones and was very nice, but most rooms are dated, just like the rest of the hotel interior. Hotel has its separate part of the beach, but charges for 1st and 2nd row between 25 and 35 euro, which they shouldn't be doing if you pay 550 euro per night. Overall poor value for money and disappointing rigidity of the hotel management with regards to 10AM policy for breakfast and checkoutBeds are a touch too short

    Location and breakfast are good

The staff were not accommodating at all and they charged us extra for our kids sleep in our room. They also don’t provide complimentary water and the floors were always unclean

    8PaulPosted on: 8-11-2024

    Location

Ageing hotel. Rooms in need of some update …. Not even a proper shower (handheld shower head and a very narrow bath and cheap shower curtain). No irons in the room. My daughters had a classic room but that came with no kettle or safe. Breakfast was fine apart from not having an egg chef and you were expected to pay extra for eggs cooked other than scrambled. 10 Euros for an omelette!

Loved the location, staff were friendly

Looking a bit outdated and the bathroom was so run down. Considering the price we would have thought the rooms and bathrooms would be nicer. Very old looking

    10OlstadPosted on: 8-1-2024

Very service oriented staff. Excellent food, location, access to private beach and pool with seawater. Beautiful suite with ocean view. We had an amazing time.

    9LeaPosted on: 7-30-2024

We received an upgrade which was lovely and the room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast area was also so lovely. The area is great as the beach is very nice and there are many restaurants walking distance.

Our door didn’t lock and over the 3 nights we spent there and asking the staff to fix it multiple times, they never got to the bottom of it. The pool area could also have a bit more of a luxe feel but overall everything was great.

    7SimonPosted on: 7-24-2024

Rustic charm of the building, the location was superb. The pool was fantastic.

I would have preferred a more comfortable bed. The mattress was a little hard for my taste. A memory foam mattress would have been nice.

Beautiful property with breathtaking views. Staff was professional and extremely helpful. Perfectly located. Loved it.
