    Pros +

    • The property was brand new and modern, very clean and comfortable
    • Abbaia Ba was so lovely! We chose it partially based on the beachfront location & the beach is very nice. It is sandy (which is not super common in Sardinia) and beach chairs & umbrellas are provided. We really liked the private villa feel of the resort - the rooms have their own entries with privacy hedges separating them and patio areas to relax. Our room & bathroom were plenty spacious. We didn't have dinner or lunch, but the breakfast was very good. We also didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they looked very nice. Staff were very warm & welcoming. It is not within walking distance to restaurants & shopping.
    • Beach front hotel

    Cons -

    • I can't think of anything that would make it better.
    • There is no service in the beach like if you want to have a drink or something you have to go all the way to the pool bar to grab a drink which is long distance under the sunNot too much options for the breakfast very very limited and the same everyday I felt it was over priced for the facilities and services
    • Breakfast was good, but would use some variety.

Very quiet, wonderful beach, close to town and had all amenities we were looking for. My teenage boys loved it and loved the paddle court. Dinner was amazing and the food overall was really good. Incredible staff and wonderful location.

Breakfast was good, but would use some variety.

Beautiful resort surrouned by nature. The resort’s sunbeds were on the beach which was very nice. We also had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Parking place is next to the apartment.

A very cozy hotel with a luxurious area. There are very few rooms, which creates a sense of seclusion. The grounds are well-maintained. Nearby is a beach with white sand and clear water. The hotel has its own umbrellas and sunbeds, which are very comfortable and beautiful. Renting two sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach costs around 30 euros at the end of September, while at the hotel they are free. The room has everything you need, and it’s cleaned well every day. You can watch your own movies through a subscription or YouTube on the TV.Great breakfasts with delicious coffee. Excellent restaurant. Wonderful staff. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at.

The hotel closed on September 28th, so we couldn’t stay longer.

From the staff to the hotel everything was nice. Liked that we could directly walk to a beach with available sun loungers and the restaurant food was divine. ?

I would like the breakfast to have a bite more options and for it to be until a bite latter.

Remote, but very peaceful location. Huge property , not really developed. The beach is good for surfing. Pool is nice too.

Too far from the center and restaurants . You have to drive .

Very friendly and attentive staff. Accommodation lovely and spacious. Cleanliness excellent. Walk to beach in approximately 3 minutes, free sun beds and umbrella available on the beach. Would definitely recommend Resort Abbaia Ba for a relaxing and chilled holiday. Good base to explore the North and East of the Island.

Everything perfect! Lovely accommodation and beach. Great restaurant.

Just a small comment: There is no WC on the beach.

    10HélènePosted on: 8-27-2024

Great hotel for a holiday! friendly staff, cleanliness, beautiful beach, nature, very tasty food in the restaurant. We would be happy to come back again.

Lovely resort, perfect staff, beautiful sea and pool, excelent breakfast...

    8SandroPosted on: 9-28-2023

The resort is located near the sea and 1,5Km from the city center of Budoni. The room is spacious and comfortable.

There is no drying rack for beach towels and no umbrellas for the customers.Ask gardeners ti not mow during breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay at Abbaia Ba Resort. The staff was very kind and the rooms are big, clean and cozy, with a nice garden view. The bathrooms are nice with a big shower cabin. You also have your own outside garden terrace. The breakfast has a lot of options to choose from. I would specially mention the fresh and tasty fruits, freshly baked pastry and delicious italian specialties.

The staff is absolutely wonderful!!!! The beach is perfect, beautiful, sandy and right next to the resort

We only really have one complaint, it's a little bit too expensive for what you get. We expected a bit more facilities for the money. For example, they have a HUGE territory, why not put a small playground for the kids. Or for example breakfast was very very basic for the price you pay, can expend the selection a little. We nevertheless had a great stay, but it did feel a bit too expensive for the value

beautiful pool with plenty of sun loungers. lovely gardens leading down to your own beach loungers and Bromley also supplied for the beach. bungalows very new and smartly decorated each with own private seating area.

being moved out of property for planned maintenance only to find someone else had moved in

    8MichaelaPosted on: 6-10-2023

The property is easy to reach from Budoni, has direct access to an outstanding beach, the semidetached bungalows are clean and with modern furnishings. Staff are exceptional. I can see they’ve learnt from past comments and added free loungers at the beach which is great. The room was ready early - always a big bonus!

    1. Privacy. The bungalow we had was next to road and opposite tennis court. There was no privacy when we had blinds open and the only window was also the entry sliding door towards the court. There is a front garden with low hedge, so just needs more landscaping to sort the privacy issue. 2. Room facilities. There was no phone so we had to call reception from our mobile. There were no hooks for towels in the bathroom, just one rail above bidet. 3. I have suggested that solar heating for the pool would probably extend the season significantly and with unstable climate would be good overall. We found the pool to be too cold to swim in June.

pool but to get there you have walk through a long dirt road.

this resort is not finished with construction, road, pavers, landscape, and many other amenities that a resort usually have. this is not a resort YET!save your money and go somewhere else to stay.

The lady that welcomed us and made our check-in was really nice and friendly, she tried to support us with all our questions and requests. Moreover the hotel is well located near the beach (walking distance) and has a very, very nice (and big) pool. The restaurant is located next to the pool and we enjoyed 2 nice and relaxed dinners there: good food and provided recommendations (it was also nice to ear the staff from the restaurant singing, it sends good vibes and enriches the environment).

The premises of the resort were a bit disappointing: apart from the rooms and the pool/restaurant area, it looked like it was not fully finished or it was not well cared for. Moreover the expectations for the breakfast were also high and it was very poor in variety and quality (but I must say that, as a positive point, it had a machine to make fresh orange juice). Last but not least, the photos give the impression that it is possible to have a romantic dinner by the pool but that was not the case.
