I wanted to check out a day early and gave them 48 hours notice. They said they were unable to refund a night because it was booked through Booking.com. Thumbs down for Booking.com

Proximity to centre of town

Requested a quiet room in the corner or away from other guests, was placed two doors away from reception and right in front of the pool. The air conditioning unit sounds like a diesel generator, incredibly loud. The only positive was that it muffled the sounds of other people in nearby rooms. Paying for a hotel room should give you as the patron the right to run the electricity all the time should you wish. The cost of your stay is there to offset the cost of running amenities to make your stay more comfortable. The room was a Furness when I walked in at approx. 5pm. Air con only operates while the key is in the slot. Shortly after my arrival, I was to meet a client for dinner and removing that key would have meant I needed to start all over again at my arrival home later that night, to try to cool down an overheated room: not giving patrons two keys is just nonsense and completely inexcusable in a place like Karratha particularly for travellers who aren’t used to that sort of heat. I had to call the lady at reception to ask for a workaround and she kindly offered to come and place another key in the a lot while I was out at dinner (she was away from the office at the time I called her). Yellow light in the bathroom is horrible. Needs to be changed to a brighter white light, making it easier to get ready in there.

The cost has increased way too much this stay for one night was at least $100 more than any other stay at this facility for same room type. even with my discount.

Excellent value for money! Great location right by all the restaurants and pubs easy access to town centre and Ben at reception had excellent customer service skills, friendly and very accomodating, will be returning!

The pool area has a coded lock on the entry gate to enter and exit, this made us feel a bit uneasy as if there is a medical emergency or something similar within the pool area you can not get out and help can not get in if the code isn’t remembered

The Air-conditioning in the room was very old and noisy, it was like sleeping next to a jet engine. Recommend Ear Plugs to block out the noise.

Place and pool were nice.

The aircon blows from under the window straight at one side of the bed. The neighbours decided to sit outside and have a bit of a party, because they couldn’t smoke inside (but that’s not the fault of the joint).
