We had to flee

I must write this review to warn other travellers not to book this hotel. It’s a health hazard and we had to vacate within 10 mins of checking in; the sheets were unclean, hair on the bed, towels were horrible and a stale dust smell everywhere. We had 1 room with my GF and daughter. My GF got an allergy attack and was trembling and couldn’t breathe. I was in such a condition that I couldn’t argue to get my money refunded; had to leave that place since both were gasping. The checkin area is stuffy, the elevator can barely fit 4 people and extremely clostrophobic.

Best located near Ruby Hospital. Excellent food. Pocket friendly, highly recommended.

Pathetic room service Hotel is under construction so it doesn’t look like a hotel from outside . AC doesn’t work properly they changed my room .even after complaining about the AC it took more than 2 hrs to send the technician.Breakfast options are limited .

A newspaper in the room would have been better.

Ours was a superior room and it mostly exceeded expectations. Location is excellent, away from hustle of the city yet close enough for all modes of commute. Rooms were clean and spacious. The food in particular was exquisite especially for the price. Towels and sheets were clean and fresh. Toiletries were adequate and properly packaged. The staff were friendly and courteous. Overall highly recommended.

There was no handwash in bathroom. Soaps and other toiletries were there but I think Handwash should have been there specially in today's world. Other than this, no complaints.

Breakfast was great. I also invited my brother to join me for breakfast in the morning. Great range of selection. Keep up the great work.

In India, it can be really annoying when you have to submit your identity card for petty reasons. My brother came down in the morning for breakfast, since he is a local around in town but didnt bring his PAN / Aadhar card and the hotel won't let him come over and see the room that I was staying in. This is incredibly humiliating when your own sibling had to wait in the lobby and not get up to the room.

Location is good , very near to my work place .

Small accommodation , Bed was not cleaned . Towel not properly washed , Food dish no available for single occupants, cause unnecessary wastage of food.

Breakfast was good. Good selection of south & north Indian breakfast. After a lot of back and forth, I was offered a better room which was clean and comfortable. But the experience until that point was not great.

The staff at the reception could try to be a little more friendly, especially to non-locals. I was first given a single room - the bathroom was dirty, charging points did not work and there was no latch to the door. Upon complaining, they insisted on checking the room, and only after a few arguments, I was given a room with good facilities. But, in general, one should not have to argue to get a clean room and/or their money's worth. Oh and the wifi did not work for an entire day.

It is in a great location. The guy who manages the breakfast is very professional, well behaved and very approachable. Only memorable thing from the visit.

The first room we were given was very dirty. The bathroom had a bad odor. The second room was relatively better but not by much. No odor in toilet though.

Upgrade MULTIMEDIA TV Systems as most channels don't work and no OTT platforms

Housekeeping and Maintenance of the equipment’s in the room and bathroom to be sustained. In fact repairing of the taps etc

The hotel is very near to VFS global Kolkata. It is around 10 minutes walk. Few months back I stayed in another hotel near to VFS global Kolkata. The hotel price was much higher for the type of room they provided. In this reagrd, this hotel was much better. The breakfast was also very good.

I stayed for a short time (night 11 pm to morning 9 am) and everything was good

The food was good, that's about it.

The room, the staff. The room seemed like it had been closed off for a really long time was damp and suffocating. The AC's didn't work properly and the lights in the room kept flickering even though they were turned off. Overall worst experience here. Would definitely not be considering this place every again.
