Hotel Royal Crowne, Kolkata Airport

I stayed for around 8 hours and just for room I paid 2100INR.

They just want to charge extra for everything. They charged me 30% extra first, and later came saying can't stay 2 people in same room. They were just searching for excuses to charge extra.

Staffs are good

No amenities .. bathroom not good

very good quality over price, seemingly the best in the area. Fond of coffee, I got hot water to make some morning and evening. Convenient walking distance from airport

they were a bit demanding on visa

Price should show along with taxI booked it with 2600 however they have charged 3000 stated tax n all

Very unclean dusty cozy room.

I appreciate two staff worked at the restaurant, the chief cooked for me the best mixed veg with gravy, his communication was good, understood my requirements easily and I enjoyed that dinner sooooo much :)

Difficult to communicate with the front desk staff, they told me breakfast at 0700 and I surprised that it is 0730 When I told them ( I need boiled eggs and fruits and I'll delay till I have my breakfast then will go to the airport) I ended up leaving without breakfast. I asked for an iron, the said (don't have) while I spotted an iron desk upstairs, at least they should guide me to that one. Definitely ll not stay there again, NEVER EVER :(

Only good think is location.

Need to focus on cleaning. Reusing of Dirty bedsheets. Windows locks are broken. Didn't provide about Wi-Fi.

Room is spacious

The property won't accept masked aadhaar card as ID proof even if Government approved as this as a ID proof, and they won't allow you to check with a masked Aadhaar card, WC is not cleaned property

Location is good as it’s near to CCU airport n a commercial hub area

Overrated room charge as the room they offered was not worth it n housekeeping staffs are pathetic if something is requested !

Should have Better cleanliness in toilet, geyser was working After complaint made to reception. In winter season ,can place a air heater.

Staff was polite and helpful

Rooms smell bad and have no non-smoking room even if it says non smoking that while booking.

Shourabh was managing the hotel and he was decent and polite.Good security was provided.Flexible check-in time if you pre book the room.

It would be better if the price is reduced when we stay for few hours.
