Good Breakfast and prompt room service

Restroom walls has paint peeling off and unfinished interiors. Could have been much better for a star facility. Location is not very access friendly

The lobby staff was wonderful.

The room was filthy! The bathroom was worse! The owner of this hotel is obviously sucking every dollar he/she can without putting a penny back in. The black mold around the glass wall in the shower was black. It is years since it has been there and either was never cleaned or it has just gotten so out of hand the staff gave up. Or the mold ate them, not sure what happened. Another great feature was the wall/floor joint molding. It used to be that vinyl stuff that covered the bottom 3 or 4 inches of the wall and came in a long roll. This had been removed and replaced by ????? Nothing. It made for some very attractive glue residue. While I am sure this sounds like a spoiled American complaining, the room was easily the worst I can remember since I was in my 20’s and used to stay in hostels.

Breakfast was very good. Rooms were big size , clean, and comfortable. The location of the hotel is very strategic.

It was my daughter's marriage, first night, we tried to do flower decoration, but staff not cooperated for flower decoration, after giving the undertaking that no herm will be there on bed sheet. Any ways, they allowed in very restricted manner, which the could have done better way.

The staff is really good. Service delivery is the fastest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. My stay was with breakfast and breakfast is good. Staff in the restaurant is amazing.

The location wasn’t good. Rooms need renovation. My bathroom had cockroaches. Flush wasn’t working properly. Location is the worst.

We booked from 7th till 11th and mentioned on message to property on early check in because of flight availability .My wife and daughters reached at property on 7th around 1 am ( I was not with them ) .The front office person making them wait which compelled to make me several calls from uae to property for an early check in .He asked me to amend the booking through booking.com from 6th onwards and technically back dated booking was not possible since it’s already 7th morning . Finally they charged us around 6600 INR for early check in apart from what I agreed to pay via booking .com .We paid the amount on spot and made them happy .They were exploiting the situation and made money as they wish ,since there was only women and kids in the family and they were unable to take any alternatives at that time .Apart from that they were continuously calling and doing Whattsup in noon time on 7th when my daughter was in college for her admission for advance payment against booking .com . Even though our heavy luggage’s was there in room. This is the first bad incident we ever faced from Holiday inn group .

The location, staff and everyone was cordial.

Housekeeping could be more attentive about the cleanliness of the bedsheets that they use. I had a sheet spread out that was stained with blood. It was small but not small enough to be hidden from the naked eye.

The property is pathetic, old, and each and every facility is broken, and dysfunctional.

The rooms and public areas are unclean. The elevators are unsafe and out of two, one elevator constantly broke down during the 3 nights I was there. Basic things like furniture in lobby or in rooms was not clean with stains. Even floors in room were not cleaned properly. All charging points dont work.

Staff behaviour and food quality

The room needed some refurbishing. The wash room fixtures were worn out, few electrical appliances were not working.

Useless staff behaviour at the reception and long check in system

Arrived at 2.00 o clock in the night and it took 30-40 minutes for checkin. Staff behaviour was very rude especially Mr.Manas. We had got the booking from booking.com and there was some confusion for number of pax. But they were unable to sort it out and were also not able to give any customer care number for booking.comUnnecessary filling of checkin forms with compulsory telephone number and e mail id for each and every person was not required.. But Mr Manas insisted and has a very bad behaviour. He took the keys back from our hand saying that first give your telephone number and e mail id then we will get the keys.Just to mention that we are regular customer of Taj city centre but since it was fully booked we had to choose this hotel thinking that this is also a big brand. But very sorry to say that it was very very disappointing. Moreover the room bathroom and the sink was also jammed and not clean. Breakfast also was not very properly managed.We paid extra amount for the extra pax as booking.com had taken only 1 pax for 1 room. We were no nine of us and we paid for extra 4 pax. Overall not at all satisfied and will never stay or recommend anyone to stay.

Food was OK. Breakfast was good but dinner did not meet the expectation..Good service overall.

Veg Dinner was not good.It's near airport so if you are coming for Going around in Kolkata, It's far away from main tourist attractions

The staffs overall were amazing, especially Gopal in Housekeeping was very accomodating, always with a smile. All the staffs were helpful abd very hospitable.

Wash basin clogged, mo body knows.After checking in, despite asking me how will I pay tomorrow, the guy at the counter charged my card (which was blocked for transaction greater than 1000) & got declined message.If advance payment required, should have told me upfront.

The staff was good. The room was big and spacious

Cleanliness could he improved. The room smelled heavily of fresh paint which wasn't ideal for my 13 month old

Non-smoking room smelled like someone had just smoked 2 packs of cigarettes in the room
