Gram Bangla Retreat

The place it's ambience well behaved staffs good food and the friendly OWNER.

The staff behaviour was not good at all, one incident happened with as, the bedsheet got stained, which was removable, but they charged us a fine. And the checkout timing is between 10 am to 11 am, but the staff came to take the room key at 10 am..... Totally rubbish

Overall ambiance was satisfactory, staff behavior was good, I think the quality and taste of food can be much better and healthy.

Poor connectivity of the location ,mainly after check out availability of vehicle was so poor or nil and also too much costly.

Location & staffs

No WiFi, Dirty linen, mosquitos, poor quality of food! No leisure

The room was superb, very clean and great having the ac. The staff and manager Amir went above and beyond. We felt very looked after . Amir was attentive and helpful. The food was superb, best mushroom curry I’ve had. The gardens are beautiful, very tropical. We were shown around by the lively people looking after the gardens. I would absolutely recommend this retreat if you want to escape the busyness of India. Perfect in every way. The staff make it so.

Nothing. All just perfect.

It's a wonderful place to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The staff is great, and the setting is super green. The vegetables are homegrown. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delicious. I spent a week at the retreat and only left very rarely.

Location of the property and food

There is nothing in the property. No swimming pool. No extracurricular activities. No games room.No library. No gym. No spa.Small size of room.Overpriced.

Breakfast was good. The hospitality was very good.

Probably a bit more of room/ washroom cleanliness.

For the price they charged, it was a decent place with courteous staff. It's safe and clean.

The food was a disappointment. The dishes were served cold, and most of the dishes weren't properly seasoned. The upholstery could have been cleaner.

Ambience Staff Behaviour Main course food

Breakfast

We thoroughly like the kind of location in which this property is being put up. All our daily life we have been staying in cities and a sudden and quick escape to such a quiet and sarene environment made us rejuvenate and come to life.

I would recommend a morning tea for those who wake up really early. The morning tea here is not served before 8am.

Fantastic food using locally grown ingredients. Beautiful, green farm stay, also pet friendly, at a stone's thrown from the heart of the city. Perfect for last weekend stays or a big gathering of friends and family. Wonderful staff and service.

Rain turns the main path around the property a bit muddy

Ambience , Nature, Food, staff behavior, evening moments

should put a cattle in room for instant tea making

Good village scenario with plenty of bushes and trees.

Room comfort is not good. Room size is not big as mentioned in advt. Much smaller than 398 sq ft. No tea/coffee maker electric kettle is provided in the room. No toiletries like toothpaste, shaving kit and newspaper in the room. No fitness facility as per advt. The common room is not properly maintained.

Room was good with all amenities like AC geyser TV and a big bathroom. It would be better if they include tea in complimentary breakfast or provide a kettle with tea bags

We went in July and there were no Vegetable crops as shown in the picture. It was just grass and trees. the way to the resort has a lot of city traffic.

It is secluded and nothing to do in the retreat

It was deserted . The reception area was very dirty . Dining area was unkempt

The most I liked their welcome. Apart from that their service were also good.

Their foods, they can make the same little better, and they should change the prices of the same as well. Price of few dishes are not reasonable as per my view. The quality of their paturi was very poor.

It was a dayout for me and my family. An amazing place in the outskirts. A rural feel. A home away from home. The rooms were big and spacious. Cottage was beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our stay. They were kind enough to arrange for a cab on return. Food prices are reasonable. Overall good ?

The atmosphere the stay the foods all were awesome abosultely value for money. It was a peaceful abode amidst the hustle bustle of city life.

May be in some veg preparation it would be better if they add little bit of sugar

The contact with nature, the behavior of staff and the excellent food.

Non availability of intercom and electric kettle with tea/coffee in rooms, the unprepared and uneven paths, and the urgent instruction to vacate room before check-out.
