FabHotel Suncitel - 1 Km from Kolkata Airport

Kitchen service is pathetic only Tea is served but no food is available after 9 PM and limited service only. Not recommended the booking through booking.com. in future.

Location was good, it’s average hotel .

1. Reception staff asking for booking confirmation PIN, I denied to Provide share PIN . Last time when I was staying another fab hotel they took Pin from me . Then after check out I saw already made excellent reviews from my booking ID. So this time I didn’t share . So that I am writing honest reviews.So don’t share your confirmation PIn or OTP with hotel receptionist as pin or Otp for customers only . This is a scam as they always ask smartly for PIN is required. 2.bed cover cleaning and duvet cleaning could be better. Maybe it’s too much old so look like color faded.

The hotel staff was nice and it was near to the airport.

The room was very dirty. The bed linens were very dirty. There was hairs and dirt on the blanket, bedsheet, pillows. It was very dirty.The bathroom didn't have any hand soaps.

The rooms are spacious. Good location.

It‘s dirty and not well maintained. Okay for a shirt night for an early flight but definitely not worth the prize. Unlike this website suggests they do not have airport transport included. They offered to drive for 300 extra.

The stench of the stale cigarette was absolute TURN-OFF. I guess that was was the standard of cleanliness for the price. Inspite of having highlighted that i didnt want a smoking room i was given a room with an ashtray next to to the bed. The passage to the room filled with stale food smell, every room had room service dishes outside the door.Substandard..never coming back.

The hotel doesn't match the pictures at all. Not wel maintained. Questionable hygiene and cleanliness

We as a family stayed only for single night.The room look old not as shown in the image. The bed was broken which we saw next morning. The hotel doesn’t seems to be family oriented. Lot of Mosquito was there. Washroom look old and buckets was dirty. No proper toiletry items. In breakfast it was served only bread omelette. Not recommended to stay.

Exceptional

The airport drop charged by taxi owner was rs. 350/-, arranged by the hotel. Hotel should have their own arrangements for airport pickup/ drop. For such small distance, the taxi charges are exorbitant & ultimately that gives bad name to the hotel as the taxi arranged by the hotel.

Location was good and food alsoI didn't write the above sentence. Someone has done this review on my behalf. Staff not very welcoming when we arrived after a long days travel and the room was very smelly, which the porter addressed by spraying air freshener.

NaLots of things. We stayed in 11 different rooms in 4 weeks in India and all were good or better apart from this one.

Nothing at all

They basically cancelled my booking at the last moment just because I couldn't pay them a nominal amount due to non availability of Indian currency accounts.I am very disappointed and will never visit this hotel again.

Nearest to airport

On the main road, very noisy bcoz of vehicle honking 24/7

Location is good right on the main road. As I have checked in very late because of my delayed flight , the receptionist was available to help.

The room in which I stayed is quite big but needs maintenance and as it is located in a busy area I was a little disturbed by the noise.

Good value for money..We were there for a few hours to rest and freshen up before catching our midnight flight out of India..The room service tea and food was also good..Good place to stay for a few hours or a couple of days as it is close to the airport…

Nothing..Did not stay for long as we had to catch our flight..

Very Bad Experience

Unprofessional. As i requested for early check-in. Hotel said it can be done and when arrival they declined.

Not sure , if i liked much except for the fact that that hotel wasn’t very far from airport. However, during busy traffic time will take a long time to grt here.

The hotel and room was by a very busy road where vehicles travel on high speed and honk all the time. I had requested a room, while booking, appropriate for baby and extra sleeping bed/mattress. The hotel didn’t provide that nor seem like they were aware.

Location was fairly close to the airport

The payment system was naive. I was asked to pay a deposit up front even though the booking was "confirmed".The cleanliness is really horrible. The amenities were non existent. The wall paints were stained, the bedsheets and pillows were shady and looked like it's been used for decades now!

Bad

The booking. com page said no prepayment. However, an automated system from the hotel kept asking for a prepayment via a third party website. I could not make a payment, because I couldn’t receive an OTP in my Indian number. The hotel cancelled my reservation on the day of my arrival and I had to book another hotel in the last minute.

Sheets were clean! Met expectations, just. Fine for one night

By western standards it was a bit of a dump. However it is fine for a night.Noisy room as next to main road and no sound proofing. Also the room on the 4th floor swayed!
