Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa

The hotel is simply stunning, with the most beautiful visual locations, which was extremely important to me. An incredible lagoon where I was swimming non-stop — something I’d never experienced before. And very beautiful views along with a real sense of privacy.

What I didn’t like was that, for example, the restaurants only start operating at 6:30 pm, while the most beautiful sunset begins around 5:30 pm. Ideally, the restaurants should already be open from 5:30 in the evening, so you can enjoy dinner with the most beautiful view, rather than with a dark sky.

It was truly amazing! friendly and professional staff, a stunning overwater villa, beautiful interiors, an exceptional location, excellent facilities, a seamless guest arrival and welcome process, and incredible marine life surrounding the property.A big thank you to our amazing butler Assim ?? We truly couldn’t have enjoyed our stay without his outstanding hospitality and care.Special thanks as well to the rest of the wonderful team: Asma from Habitat, Chef Talal, the other Arabian chef, Chan who welcomed us at the airport, Marie from the Water Center, the entire SPA team, and our yoga instructor.

I would prefer complimentary bottled water. Additionally, at the public beach, I recommend providing guests with beach towels, refreshing towels, and chilled water with ice. It would also be very convenient to offer a QR code system that allows guests to order easily without having to wait for staff to approach.Furthermore, I would suggest having a currency exchange office available within the resort for added convenience.

It was an exceptional experience at this beautiful resort. All services exceeded expectations, the restaurants were of the highest standard, and all staff members were extremely helpful and professional. I would especially like to highlight Mr. Amin and Mr. Nizar, whose outstanding support and attention played a major role in making my stay truly memorable. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this resort.

Construction noise by nearby islands

The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and well-organized — the views are truly stunning. However, I’d like to point out a few things that really need improvement.Although it’s a 5-star resort, the staff’s attitude felt more like a 3-star experience. They were not warm or welcoming, and everything seemed to revolve around money. We were constantly asked to pay extra for things that should have been included. For example, even though we booked a half-board package, we still ended up paying more every day.They never informed us about free activities or events — they only focused on promoting paid options. Overall, the service felt very transactional and not up to 5-star standards.The only truly positive part of our stay was the Kids Club. The team there was amazing — friendly, respectful, cheerful, and genuinely passionate about their work. A special thanks to Nizar, Iza, and Zahra — they absolutely deserve a bonus for their kindness and professionalism.In summary, we wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to others. It’s nice for a one-time visit only, mainly because of the staff’s attitude.

The staff is incredible and always at your disposal.Quality of restaurants

Location is not the best in Maldives, we see a lot of cranes and works in progress on the other front islands, too close to male so you loose some of the paradise idea.We were with all inclusive and it was a disaster, does not worth to pay for all inclusive because of all the extras you have to pay, even in drinks.better book B&B and pay locally the lunch and dinner at your choice.Also around us in the hotel there were alaways work in progress, if youwant to rest or sleep on the beach there is always a electric bandsaw or a hammer noise

It is our second time with the kids. The facilities are all amazing. The kids club activities and staff are fantastic. The beach is beautiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to our GEM Siya — always available, helpful and friendly.

Nothing cuz some issues ruined my vacation

Disappointed by Safety and Privacy IssuesI stayed at Hilton Maldives Amingiri with my wife and 1-year-old daughter. Sadly, we experienced two major issues:1.The buggy driver drove dangerously while I was holding my baby. When I asked him to slow down, he said he had another guest to pick up. This showed no concern for our safety or respect. I reported it to the manager, but never received any update.2.At Origin Restaurant, two nearby guests were taking photos and videos with GoPros, phones, and a camera with flash — right next to us, with no regard for our privacy. My wife and daughter felt uncomfortable. The restaurant staff refused to intervene.For a 5-star resort, I expected better attention to guest safety, privacy, and respect — especially for families.

Everything about this property is excellent. This is our second time going there and I would not choose any other resort in the Maldives! It’s one of the closest islands to the airport which makes the ride easy after your flight. I cannot describe how comfortable it is, the amazing and thoughtful staff even brought me a mommy pillow when they realized I was pregnant and to me it’s always those little details that make my trip!

Visiting Maldives has made me reconsider all of the places I've visited before and I used to consider beautiful. Such a combination of white and soft sand, transparent water and uncontaminated nature is more unique than rare.Hilton Amingiri is the perfect resort to stay in, every detail is taken in consideration and the staff is the most hospitable, kind and professional I've ever seen. Special mention to Mozi and Amine as our Guest Experience Makers, who smoothly organized all of the activities for us, and to Nizar, Najaah, Ziyam and Kamal for entertainment and sport activities, to Suraj for lifeguarding us while on beaches and water and to chef Dario for the fantastic Italian dinners.

Maybe some food and beverages are slightly overpriced.

Our experience at this resort fell below the expectations of a five-star property in several key areas.To begin with, we had to wait at the airport for transportation for 40 to 60 minutes with no communication or updates from the hotel. This lack of coordination was disappointing and set the tone for what was unfortunately a recurring theme throughout our stay.The drinks served at the pool bar were subpar and not prepared to the standard one would expect from a luxury resort. Similarly, the service from the butler and concierge lacked professionalism and attentiveness.On a more positive note, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall housekeeping service met expectations. The food quality was generally good, although more attention should be paid to cleanliness in the breakfast area; we noticed fingerprints and food residue on dishes and serving utensils.The Italian restaurant was a highlight of our stay, delivering a great dining experience. However, the photo shoot service was underwhelming. For the price charged, we expected more professionalism, guidance, and better results. Unfortunately, the photographer lacked both direction and a professional attitude.Beach service was virtually non-existent. Staff would pass by without checking in on guests, and we had to actively seek service, including the removal of used items. Moreover, at checkout, despite informing the concierge of items taken from the minibar, reception had no record of this — another example of poor internal communication.The spa and massage services were excellent, and we truly appreciated the professionalism and quality of care in that area.That said, the resort needs to significantly improve in several areas before it can be considered truly five-star. Water sports were poorly managed. We were left to navigate things on our own, and there were no lifeguards present at the pool or in the ocean — a serious safety concern.

Options for dinner outside main buffet restaurant are limited & fill up quickly. Recommend you pre-book before your stay.Snorkeling is available on-site but limited fish. They offer boat tours as alternatives (diving & snorkeling)

Like other 5-star resorts in the Maldives, Hilton Maldives Amingiri is a fantastic place to stay. The sunset view from Aura was out of this world. The over-water villa we booked was spacious and impressive. Room service was terrific. Tutu was helpful throughout our short stay. Recommended if you want a luxury stay nearer to Velana International Airport.

We found it a little noisier as we had been to some other resort before reaching Hilton, which was quiet and more peaceful. Also, when dining at Habitat on the first day, we discovered that the service was a little slower, and sometimes, you keep looking to spot a waiter or a staff member to request help with something. Maybe I misjudged, but I noticed that the water during the day isn't that clear as other resorts due to aggressive water sport activities.

I have been to Maldives three times and this was the best. Not sure from where to start, we arrived in the morning, the warm welcome by the staff was sincere, we requested early check in and the villa was ready. The Resort is so clean, very green and the villa is very spacious and comfortable in all its small and big details. The smell of the villa puts you immediately into a relaxing mood. We were assigned Ouzz for our stay and he had definitely made it a special one with all his support and availability to address all our needs.
