Merimbula Coastline Motel

Convenient location, walking distance to shops, beach, staff stayed back to let us check in after hours as took longer than expected to reach, on site parking, however has plenty of street parking available close by.

really bad phone reception in area, staff dont know wifi password, so you would struggle with internet service to find near by places, no recommendations from staff either to visit places in town, microwave & electric kettle needs cleaning

Convenient location, quiet, good sized room, comfy bed.

WiFi was poor, intermittent and non existent.

It’s no luxury penthouse, but for the money it’s fine. Comfy bed, aircon, and it was clean.

No pool.

The shower stream faced the wall & was not adjustable...outside filthy with rubbish in the gardens & dead pot plants ..shower & bathroom was not clean & the lighting was too strong & unable to be dimmed...I would not recommend this facility to anyone...very disappointing.

The location was good and it has potential.

The entire facility inside the rooms and out were littered with trash, building scrapes, and food. The staff were rude when asked it we could have a functioning TV and aircon. They even threatened to kick us out with 2 young children at 5pm with no other accommodation in the area available, for requesting to have these 2 things functional. The dishes in the room were unwashed and had left over food on them, with no detergent to wash them left in the room either. The room was not clean and looked like minimal cleaning occurred. The dust was so bad you could write your name in it on a shelf. The carpet around the edges of the room had not been vacuumed, and the sheets and towels were stained (but appeared cleaned).

Value for money. I was planning to camp in Merimbula for 4 nights, but the weather was awful, pouring rain & thunder. So I looked for a cheap motel and this one fitted the bill exactly. Very compact but clean & tidy.

Toilet paper. Every place I stay at seems to buy the cheapest, thinnest toilet paper available on the market. You have to use so much of it just to achieve a successful outcome !!!!!

nothing, it should be condemned. Ants everywhere the door handle fell off, curtains and blinds ripped,fridge didn't work i got double charged for my dog unexpectedly, staff rude.

There were many bad reviews listed, but while the motel has some faults it is a 3 star motel afterall.Our room had been recently painted and new tiled floors.We could have our small dog.

Rooms are not very big but outside chair and table is welcome.

It was well-eqipped and quiet. Good location for the shops. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean apart from the bathroom. You could easily walk into town.

Several pubic hairs in the bathroom and the BBQs were badly maintained . TBH there seemed to be a shortage of staff to maintain the 2 adjacent motels. ...rarely a person on reception.

Sheets were clean, location was fine. Beds fairly comfy. It was fairly cheap by comparison but not actually cheap compared to what you get for the same price elsewhere.

Room was very small, but the worst was the smell, the carpet was disgusting, the room should not have been in use. There were some basics in the room, like a toaster but it was so old and encrusted. They did not empty trash or provide towels until we placed these outside the room.

Easy parking . Clean and staff were nice. Lovely high location with little tables outside the room on grass area which was nice in evening .

It’s up hill from the shops . It’s a bit of a trek to Woolies etc . It’s an old style motel . We were a bit squashed in the family room but overall it was fine for 2 nights .

Nothing was there to be liked!

Everything about the motel was disappointing. The place was filled with bugs and the room didn't have proper ventilation. The washroom door was a sliding one which was built improperly and had no lock! But the worst of all was the washroom, after 2nd use only it got clogged and we were 3 people and we had to opt for a public washroom! Even the room lights were not working!

The property needs some care and attention. Was overpriced for what it was.

Location was good

Dirty, untidy, unkept gardens and weeds everywhere , smashed glass out the front of venue that stayed there for duration of my stay and wasn’t cleaned up. All round very unimpressed for $270 a night. Bed was absolutely terrible, and hot water wasn’t available at times.
