    Cons -

    • We recently stayed at Tasman Holiday Park and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. On arrival, we had to wait in a long line just to enter the property because the boom gates were not working. A lady ahead of us reversed out of the queue, visibly frustrated, saying it was the third time it had happened to her that day. When we reached our pet-friendly cabin (we didn’t bring a pet), it was unclean. There was pizza crust in the bin, used hand towels left crumpled, soap already unwrapped with packaging left on the bench, and the bed sheets were full of sand. After contacting reception, a staff member came to clean the cabin. She initially refolded the used hand towel until I requested it be replaced, which was disappointing. The family we were travelling with had booked a non-smoking room that smelt strongly of smoke. The staff member on duty acknowledged the smell and removed the cushions, but this didn’t really resolve the issue. We requested a refund, we couldn’t find alternative accommodation that night. We packed up first thing the next morning and left. We ended up staying at NRMA Pambula Beach Holiday Resort, which was amazing and such a contrast in cleanliness and service. After numerous unhelpful phone calls over about two weeks, we did eventually receive a refund from Tasman.Overall, very disappointing experience, particularly regarding cleanliness and how the situation was handled
    • Cabin photography was very well done, in that they knew how to make a dog box of a cabin look alot more spacious than it really was. You could barely walk around the beds. Only about 1ft in between. Cupboard doors hit the bed when opened. Pots and pans were all filthy. We didnt use the kitchen and brought Chinese containers as bowls. Bit of a spider issue inside. Reception was the absolute rudest! Attitude was not fit for customer service. The 10pm was bible! 1020pm and she blinded us from her verandah holding the torch at us and told us to go to bed. Our 3x family of kids were treated horribly for roaming around and playing games. Not hurting anyone. Its a glorified retirement village. We couldn't use the fire pit unless staff were on site to light and observe the fire. We couldn't enjoy our stay. Rules rules rules!!!! Everywhere you went. Oh! And staff were caught found smoking pot up the back of the property! All round appalling and would never recommend!!
    • There was no WiFi no lightning as you drive into the holiday park and outside our room.

Good location as far as proximity to town .

We used the cabins at the very front of the property and there is no privacy unless all blinds are closed at all times .

Good location, nice spacious room, beautiful green and peaceful surroundings, easy to access and check in. Staff welcoming and friendly

Clean, tidy, close to everything, pool and playground were amazing. Camp kitchen was clean and tidy and had everything you need.

There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like

    The location was very convenient.

Didn't find it to be clean. Yhere was hair in the pillow and that made us very skeptical on wheather the place is clean or not. The shower pressure was very low, took forever to take shower. Have been to other holiday places which were nice. Even the water kettle was soo dirty had to wash it as it had black content inside. I didn't find it worth it and the pics looked way better. They need to prioritise on cleaning and just focus on small general stuffs.

    Location

Room wasn’t cleaned. Food, dust and dirt and hair left in the room when we first came to the room. Stains on mattress with no sheet. Booked for a family of 7 people, we were not provided with enough towels and face washers. Pool was unclean as well as the spa.

    1KatePosted on: 1-28-2026

Not much - very old and dated!

Everything! Felt unsafe, cabin old and dirty. Place is so run down! Staff losing our property, stating they’ll cover the cost and then ignoring me! Including head office. Unprofessional, careless and ignorant.

    9TaniaPosted on: 1-25-2026

Friendly staff, good play areas for children, heated pool, close walk to town

Mid week unit service was a bit disappointing. The beds and towels were changed, however the floor was not touched nor was the bathroom cleaned. Was told this probably wasn’t done if the cleaner was too busy. The park has lots of good rules but there’s no one policing them so the spa was full of toddlers at times, older kids bombing in the pool, older kids without their parents at the playground hurting smaller children including my 2 year old grandson being purposely bounced off the jumping pillow. Terrible internet connection. Kitchen needs a few more basic items such as tongs and a peeler.

    Pleasant

The photo shown of the room when I was booking was different from what was provided to is when we checked in. There are no cooking facilities near our unit. We had to walk to the main kitchen which was too far from our accommodation. The laundry was coin laundry. There was no option to use card, so we had to go to the shops to cash out some coins. The most terrible thing was there was very limited Internet connection in the unit. The kitchen was clean though and the location was great!

Loved this place. The pool, playground, jumping pillow and games rooms were the favourite with our family.

The cabins were smaller than other caravan parks we have stayed in in the past

I like the location near by shops, beaches...

The internet is such at my place. There was no internet connection, no cook top.

    6JaydenPosted on: 1-8-2026

Rooms had good amenities, relatively clean and well maintained. Son enjoyed the recreational activities. Location was convenient.

Noting it was peak summer school holidays, it was very expensive for what we got so I wouldnt say it was value for money. The beds were also quite uncomfortable and I'd say are in need of replacing.

    8MuhammadPosted on: 12-29-2025

A very neat and well-maintained property and cabin. We truly enjoyed our stay while doing our coastal road trip.

Don't have any facility for the kids to enjoy like swimming pool or gaming room.
