Town Centre Motor Inn

Location was very convenient to our needs.

No permanent "In-room Hair Dryer" No fan in the bathroom and very shoddy divide screen 2 tissues in box and no spare box There was no Battery in the Smoke Detector and it was not hard wired as required by the building regulations of 2006.

Very friendly staff â” room were affordable, in a good location, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower â” nothing else that you'd need, really.

Bed had fleas. Air conditioner didn’t work. TV didn’t work either.

The location is the best feature being pretty much in the centre of town, can walk to shops, restaurants, clubs and the lake.That and the fact that we could bring our dog :-D

The fridge's freezer was completely iced up and couldn't even open the door so I had to defrost it first, no big deal but the fridge has seen better days, seals are stuffed.

Old, worn carpets, hard bed, old bed coverings, needs an update, room smelled like curry

Location excellent. Bed comfortable. Great to be able to have breakfast in the room.

The shower water pressure not good. Hard to regulate the hot water. Very bad water hammer in wall at bed head end when shower taps turned on.

The location is great.

The man on the reception was a sad sack, the rooms are tired and it was overpriced for the amenity and facilities.

Slightly dated but good value for money

WiFi was poor. Breakfast was a bit of a joke.

Location was great. Easy walk to almost all things within the city. Next to an amazing bakery it was superb. Rooms are spacious, had a couch and a table in the room too. Toilet and bathroom was spacious although it didnt have new amenities.

Appeared to be very old. Not renovated. They can really do with new beds to gain more space. The side tables are useless in a way. Going up stairs if you have a bag is cumbersome.

The breakfast consisted of two stale white pieces of bread you could toast and a small packet of cereal. The rooms need to be updated as the wallpaper was peeling from the walls. The towels are old and thin. The room was inundated with ants.

booked room for 3 adults and 1 kid, offered a room with attached small room, small room have two single bed so 2 of us need to sleep their it neither have fan nor air conditioning temperature was 44 degrees on that day

In a great location in the middle of town and they were flexible with check in.AC was great.

Very dated rooms, old mattress, narrow car parks, slow WiFi, a lot of foot traffic from other guests passing our room, no dont disturb sign, and average bathroom (busted shower head, TP was tucked under the bench and there was no handwash at the sink had to use the shower one).

Rooms are very dated. WiFi is almost unworkably slow. Advertised breakfast is 2 slices of white bread and two individual packets of cereal. All this would be acceptable if they weren’t charging almost $200 per night.

Loved the balcony overlooking Merimbula and the lake! Very friendly, helpful staff.
