ASHOKA PALACE

I like the cleanliness and cooperation and friendly welcoming. Room was spacious and clean with attached bathroom . The staff & the owner are very friendly and joyful and helpful. You may smoke in your room. The room rate is very good compared to other hotels. I liked that hotel and staff & the owner. I had small conversations with the owner and he is superb man. If you want to visit nearby places, they arrange the transportation.I recommend this hotel. If I go there, definitely I will stay in this hotel. Thank you for making me feel at home.

Only thing I did not like is main market is 10 minutes walk( for me as old person). The rest is good.

Cleanliness, staff, location, room interior. Value for money.

Bedsheets were not clean. But were replaced when asked.Mattress was not that comfortable but okay as per price. Shower was also malfunctioning in room 202. But I can still try in next visit. Overall value for money.

Location was good. Loads of restaurants nearby.

Can be bit noisy sometimes.

The host really tries his best, he was so kind to come and pick me up from the station free of charge and making sure I checked in the room safely and okay, which a really appreciated given that the hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere. I just slept there for 4h as I had a early morning safari the day after, so I really just needed it for that. If you are staying longer, maybe pick something more comfortable.

The bed linen was so dirty it was disgusting, luckily I had my own so I could bear that for a night. Theere were wild dogs barking all night and did not let me close an eye. The bathroom was okayish if it wasn't for a massive cokaroach and rusty shower. Luckily I just spent a total of 5h in this room. And luckily I did not pay a lot. They even asked me for extra "taxes" at the checkout and the fact that the owner spoke little english did not meake me understand what that was for, but because he was nice picking me up I just paid and went away asap.

Personal was very friendly. They tried to accomodate my asks. Checking was without problems.

The room was directly to the street with much trafic and noise (but it's India).They do not take cards.

This is a very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The location is perfect within walking distance of the train station. They allow 24 hour check in too, so it was very convenient with the train running late. The owner very kindly let us check out a bit later, when my partner was feeling sick, which we really appreciated. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean and light and well ventilated. It is in a good location very close to the train station. One of the cleanest places we have stayed in india

We messaged the week before our stay asking to book safaris which we were told by message was fine, when we arrived they had not been booked and morning safari was unavailable which was very disappointing

The hotel and equipment are very dated and would need an upgrade. Therefore the value for money could have been higher compared to alternative options. E.g. cleaning was not done under the bed, AC did not work.

Behaviour of the staff and breakfast was also tasty

The guys at the reception were very helpful and helped me to call a tuc-tuc
