The Akasha Seminyak Bali Boutique Hotel

My daughter saw a giant live cockroach in the room, and during her stay she developed red spots on her skin that raised concerns about possible bed bugs. Red stains on the bedsheets that appeared to look like blood. Manager was extremely rude.

room is big and cosy. bed and pillow is comfortable. clean and toiletries are sufficient. pool is small but there were not much people staying so the pool was enough for us. hot shower available and water pressure is good. staff were friendly and service was good. ac and wifi worked very well. walkable distance and alot of food and marts around. beach at walkable distance. blackout curtains and quiet at night. quite a good price for the place we get. didnt use the gym but it looks pretty small.

the whole area is smaller than expected. reception is just opposite us, maybe 10s walk. alot of mosquitoes.

Amazing location and beautifully decorated. We were able to get to sunset quickly with a two minute walk. Very warm service with a fully equipped villa and room for a family.

The ACS were not powerful and one of the rooms is close to the street so traffic is audible at night.

We had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel. The staff were professional and friendly, and were always quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our arrival. The pick-up shuttle service was quick and reliable and took us to the hotel where we were met by helpful staff. Breakfast was a treat, as was the family suite that we stayed in. The linen was crisp and clean, and the three bedroom all had modern en-suites. All bedrooms were incredibly spacious, and the bathrooms stunning. The staff couldn't be more helpful and courteous, recommending taxi services and places to shop and visit in Bali. The walk to the beach was only two minutes away, with a convenience shop across the road.

We were upgraded to a nicer room since there was a little issue with the room we had booked. Pool is very nice. Very clean. Staff friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated.

Perfect little quiet place to stay in amongst the business of the outside world. Rooms beautiful layout and quiet. Lovely pool to enjoy after wandering the street.

You do have to get rides everywhere, walk along the beach more difficult than we thought.

Great location. Middle of Canggu and Seminyak. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Nice room service.

Air conditioner was not working.

Good location if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Very close to the beach (although there is currently lots of construction going on at the boardwalk and it’s not a very nice walk!). The room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. There was a kettle and coffee maker in the room. There is a mini mart around the corner. The pool looked pretty but didn’t seem very clean. This was a quiet place to stay as a solo female traveller for a couple of days.

The price is high for what you get. This is a nice, clean hotel but it’s not 5 star.

Very friendly staff. I stayed here for my birthday and they even surprised with a birthday cake, such a nice surprise.

A few things that need fixing in the bathroom, for example, toilet seat.

Nice hotel, we stayed for just one night since our flight arrived late, and we left past lunch time. The room was clean, spacious and quiet, the bed comfortable and the breakfast (served in our small poolside terrace) fantastic. The reception personnel were very attentive and helpful, and allowed us to leave our baggage while visiting Seminyak beach.

Lack of attention to detail. Shoes left on the terrace were soaked when staff watered the plants, tea in the room was not always re-stocked.Staff were not as friendly as in other places we have stayed in Indonesia.

The rooms were sound-proof which was ideal for Seminyak! The bed was humongous and so unbelievably comfortable. There was nice soft lighting next to the bed to adjust. Loved the water feature in the pool that made a lovely sound when I sat on the deck chairs.

The staff were nice, but they were not as lovely and helpful as the staff I have experienced in other hotels in Bali.

The beach was getting dug up by tractors,so disappointed with that.

Good sized and nicely decorated room with all basic amenities there.Daily cleaning service provided and decent breakfast served to the room.Hotel staff was really helpful and kind for.all our stay.The hotel itself is located within walking distance ( 15mins ) from.shops and restaurants.

There was no view but still the room was overlooking an inside pool area.Breakfast could have been more variable.

Buyer beware once you have paid good luck getting it back!!

We stayed in the two bedroom upstairs appt. Were not able to get any sleep due to the traffic noise which never stops!!we had paid for three nights and forfeited our money as no refund would be given asked Booking.com to help but they were unable to. This place looks good on the Website but the traffic noise is outrageous along with the price.
