The Legian Seminyak, Bali

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. We would easily return.From the moment we entered, we were greeted with a smile and utmost professionalism.The hotel itself is gorgeous, nicely designed, beautiful lighting, small boutique stores throughout that you can shop at. The rooms are very beautiful and quite large, spacious. The lighting in particular is very good. The beds are super comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom has a large bathtub which we used often.The pool is wonderful and always felt warm. We used it all the time with a gorgeous view. The service out there is great. The highlight was Henri, we will not forget his friendliness.The breakfast is also excellent! You can request it in the room if you would like.Lastly, the staff is what elevated this hotel to another level, every single person was professional, friendly, approachable. Cannot emphasize this enough.

Breakfast was descent, I expected better quality food from the 5 star hotel. Pool is too small the amount of people which stay at the property.The room was horrible, dark, not enough lighting, feels like you live in the bunker but not at the 5 star property.Interior design is ugly and well outdated, the last time it was updated almost 30 years ago, Rooms have awful mold smell, I start getting allergy because of the smell in the room. And it was in our room and in our daughter's room, same smell of mold. The manager had to move us twice to a different room. Lack of lighting on the terrace and balcony. The only one thing that we like at this hotel was the direct ocean view room.

The hotel must be fully renovated, the smell of mold is awful. Towels are outdated, not acceptable for a 5 star property with the high price per room.The restaurant serves OK food, nothing special.Again, this hotel is old, furniture in the rooms are outdated, old, and very dirty, poor housekeeping management. I would not stay there again, even if they offer a free stay there.

The staff really make the experience. Most of the staff have been working at the Legian for many years and are familiar faces each year that we return. They are amazing people and make you feel so welcome. Also to note is the restaurant which is exceptional, although slightly on the expensive side for Bali. All in all, it’s the whole experience which makes the Legian such an enjoyable place to visit.

The Club at Legian is truly an amazing hotel with marvellous villas, pure luxury - with excellent service and staff. Everyone is very well-trained, reacts to any feedback improvements right away and every staff member is dedicated to make the guest experience truly memorable. I have rarely encountered such high standard for a 5-star hotel. I will definetely be a returning customer and look forward to my next stay!

We had a wonderful stay at The Club by the Legian Seminyak. The villa was fabulous and well maintained with a beautiful private pool. All the staff were extremely courteous, polite and always willing to help with a smile but a special mention goes to our butler 'Yoni'. She was simply great! We thoroughly enjoyed dining at 'The Restaurant' and using their spa facilities. The couple massages we got in the ocean view room were out of this world! Will definitely want to come back.

The selection at B'fast was excellent, we particularly enjoyed the small health shots served at the fruit counter. The pools were clean, warm and well maintained. our room was generous, well appointed and very comfortable. The quality and style of service in general was exceptional.

It is very hard to pick anything without being overly sensitive, keep up the standards you already achieve and monitor customer feed back as you are and the future should be bright for the hotel.

The location, the attention to detail and the wonderful staff. Our room was amazing and spacious. I feel like the images don’t do it justice. A boutique quiet retreat in the midst of busy Seminyak. You want for nothing. Our family fell ill and they really looked after us. We are so grateful.

Bali is very, very crowded during festive season

Beautiful hotel on west coast with amazing view of sunset at the three infinity pools and the beach. Our room was on ground floor with a patio leading to a two minutes walk to the pool, restaurant and the beach, but far enough to be quiet. The hotel pool area is right next to the long beach and although the beach is not private, its peaceful and quiet. Outside the hotel is a busy area for drinks, food and shopping within a 5-10 minute walk in Seminyak town centre, but we didn't hear the noise when in the hotel. Beautiful restaurant and food with live singing every night.

Traffic from the airport to the hotel is heavy, but this is the case all over Bali. But once in the hotel, can forget the outside.

A fantastic place!! Everything from the suite to the breakfast to the pool and the beach! And the staff was so amazing, and really cared for our family, especially our three young kids.

We had an absolutely great vacation at the Legian Beach. The hotel room was very large and very comfortably equipped/furnished. The room had a large balcony overlooking the pool area and sea. The hotel offered free water, soft drinks and snacks. The sea was nice, some days with quite big waves so that swimming wasn't always possible. We loved the beach bar/restaurant directly at the beach to watch the sunset. The hotel also offered some free activities such as Yoga and Spinning classes - which were of very good quality. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room and the entire hotel was very clean. Breakfast had a good broad offering of different options. All in all - it was excellent and we felt at home.

Stayed in “The Club” Legion, was absolutely fantastic to have our own villa with its own private pool, along with the use of “The Club” pool and restaurant/bar and also the use of the Hotel Legion facilities which is situated over the road. The Hotel and club are of an exceptionally high standard, beautifully manicured gardens and pool areas. The Hotel boasts prime beach front position, fabulous sunsets and daytime sea breeze. We Ate in the sophisticated beachfront hotel restaurant which was high class and top notch food and service (reflected in the pricing). All of the staff from the Hotel to the club were exceptional, so genuinely friendly and eager to offer the best possible customer service possible. The highlight was our amazing Butler Swi who was utterly delightful, he made our holiday extra special for so many reasons. The Hotel/Club and staff are a class act in every way. We have visited Seminyak several times but “The Legion” has made me realise there’s no other place I would stay from now on. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Legion for such a wonderful stay we’ll see you next year!!

Nothing! Just an observation that possibly could do with more sunbeds at the main hotel pool especially in busy periods! (Not a complaint just a recommendation)

Everything was exceptional. The rooms were huge and very well air conditioned. We had a topped up mini fridge with drinks and snacks every day. The facilities from spa, gym, sauna, steam, massages, pool were perfect. The only thing better was the food and the staff.

Everything was outstanding. Couldn't fault it AT ALL.
