InterContinental Khao Yai Resort By IHG

The staff was great, the train ride was greatly enjoyed by the family, Good Breadkfast choice given that we are in Khao Yai.

We checked in very late and were extremely tired, as we had an early morning tour the next day. Unfortunately, we noticed stains on the bedsheet and a small blood speck on one of the pillows. Given the hour and our exhaustion, we had little choice but to lay bath towels over the bed and sleep that way.For a hotel of InterContinental’s standard, we would have expected much better attention to laundry hygiene. This was disappointing and not in line with the brand’s usual reputation.

Amazing train-carriage room

The resort setup feels too much like a theme park, with a wide layout. No long views connecting the beautiful lakes and other scenic spots.

Unique design of the rooms. Landscape was really nice. Secluded and quiet. food/breakfast was really good

Lovely, unique property in Khao Yai. We enjoyed the peaceful grounds and lake views. The food was excellent and kids club was sparkling clean - our toddler loved feeding the bunnies.Special thanks to the ladies at the kids club, Namwan from the restaurant and Andy the wellness/fitness teacher for a great stay.

The property is incredibly well planned and beautifully maintained. The room was very unique in design and the overall aesthetic flowed throughout.

The fact that on the weekend they only had a buffet dinner at the main restaurant and we were not made aware that the a la carte menu was not available until we arrived. We could have planned for something else as we didn’t want the buffet two nights in a row.

Incredible atmosphere. Safe plae to bike with kids around the Swan lake. Kid’s club staff is very nice.

Good breakfast and nice staffs, they're helpful and always smile.

Absolutely the pool. Very small and cannot fit for those who wanna enjoy the pool.

One of the best property in Khao yai

Beds are badly designed having no space to walk through the sides.One has to literally climb up the besld which is not how one does daiky hence quite weird.Hot water for shower was not available .Never experienced this in an IHG hotel

Very quick service to many requests made a sense of pride the staff had in the space and the service they were providing WhatsApp as a means of communication

Beautiful rooms and setting. We booked the room with private pool which was even more beautiful than the pictures. Hotel is very well themed to the antique train concept and grounds are very well maintained.

Bad start for us with a very delayed check in due to a ‘member’ taking advantage of the late check out benefits. We waited over an hour to check into our room. The property is a bit remote if you don’t have a car. Stock of wines and menu items were very low at our visit(early January) so should have been taken off the menu. We booked at the French restaurant on our last night and it was very disappointing. Again menu items out of stock (Beef bourguignon - the most simple dish to make). Fish was overcooked with ice cold side dish and sauces and a terribly watery crème brûlée. Staff not really equipped to deal with problems so nothing was done, just plates removed and bill issued despite sending back hardly touched food. Very dissapointing offerings in such a beautiful setting and for such a large hotel group.

Exceptional design with Orient Express vibes, mesmerizing views, beautiful gym that overlooks the lake with swans, around which you can cycle too!

I like the landscape and swan lake at the hotel. Especially, the activities for kids such as koi fish feeding etc.

The waiting for room service is too long.

I liked the atmosphere. Lots of plants, really feel like we were in the forest. In the room was nice and cozy. Luxury jungle trip!

the breakfast was super in food preparation, service and quality. but the dinner was not so impressive and expensive. it cost 240 baht for a bottle of water. the navelty of the bedroom was very well designed with impressive imagination. but the nostalgic sensation was compromized by overall comfort and traditional hotel convenience. the enjoyable parts of the resort were its lush garden with large collection of foriage. the lake side walk was most relaxing.all staff were enthusiaticly friendly, with smile everywhere. the manager was super freindly and hard working.

the food was pricey. the bedroom was too narrow to move around. the lighting system was a bit complicated and confusing.

The staff were friendly and welcoming in all departments.

There was only one type of room that allowed pets, and the room was very small. Staying in the room was not comfortable.

Very seldom do I go someone that looks exactly as the photos show. It was just beautiful. Big tip - book for the afternoon tea in the railway carriage before you go. Such a lovely experience. Super helpful staff.

french restaurant food is so so , there are only 5 choice of starters and 5 choice of main course , super expensive for what you get . tea carrage charges 950 bht for one glass or supper normal wine .
