Hotel Labaris Khao Yai

One of the most enjoyable places I have stayed. The ambiance around the hotel is relaxing and rooted in nature/fantasy. I would absolutely stay here again. The room service was tasty and delivered quickly. Hot water and air conditioning worked well.

The hotel is beautifully presented. My room was large with a balcony seating area looking out on to the treetops and surrounding hills, very picturesque. Bed very comfortable too. The hotel staff were very friendly and ready to help with every request, even when I locked myself out of my room late at night! The breakfast was really tasty and plentiful, with both Thai and Western options. There was also a great on-site cafe with interesting coffees to try while I waited to head back to the station after check-out.

It felt lonely as a solo traveller. The complex was a bit of a ghost town after a certain time in the evening, with the pool / spa / cafe all shut by 8pm and no dedicated bar / social space to sit and relax in the evening apart from your room. But I am sure that lots of guests come for the peace and quiet and really enjoy it. There also looked to be amenities close by on the same road, so it would be possible to explore options outside the hotel, if you wanted to.

Mostly everything from the check-in experience, dining at the hotel restaurant, lighting event and staffs.

Bed: The pillow and bed was a bit too soft for us.

The location was near the Khaoyai national park. We arrive to the Pak Chong train station and then hotel has managed a car to pick us up. The breakfast is great and the tour arranged by hotel was really wonderful.

We came here twice this year. Staff were very nice and helpful. Lots of activities for kids. Great view for taking photo. Location is quite close to many restaurants & farm & flower garden.

No diaper changing station in public area and would be great if have kids toilet in public area.

This hotel is amazing- the location is beautifull and the room are huge with a super comfortable soft bed and beautiful bathroom. The pool area is very beautifull and the pool huge and clean (salt and clorine).

A lot of noise in the very early morning. Guy with the leaf blower startet at 6:30 every morning. Not very nice as many want to have a good sleep in the morning and not be woken up by this.

Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were really nice to us. We had dinner there for 2 nights and the food was great! Better than some famous restaurants in Khaoyai. The hotel is mostly for kids so if you don't travel with kids you may want to consider other hotels at this price range.

However, the waitresses at the restaurant were a bit confused and didn't pay enough attention to us like they didn't hand the menu to us and we needed to ask several time to finally get it. The lady at the reception desk didn't count though. She was very nice and active. And I wish there were more playground equipment.

Property in room and outside was good but better to be more kids friendly e.g. diaper changing station or kids toilet in the shared area.Staff was nice and helpful. Room service was quick and very precise on the request.Inside the room was clean and lots of space and area for our luggages.

On top of my review as of Wed 16-Oct mentioned below, the same hotel manager was very nice and helpful to pass our complaint to the committee and promptly response next day on Thu 17-Oct regarding the compensation which could offer to us. I could definitely say that this could gain lots of trust toward the hotel from me and my family and we will surely go once again. (I would prefer to keep the previous comment on in order for someone who already saw could get the good updates)—-Review as of Wed 16-Oct-2024—Restaurant during breakfast time had lots of fly on kids veggies and fruit fly on fruit. Should have any protection. Both of my kids vomited 2-4 hours after having breakfast. 1-year old kid vomited 15+ times, 3-year old kid vomited 5+ times. They both got diarrhoea and temperature.Satisfied that the hotel manager helped drove us to the hospital. However, very disappointed that no one even mentioned on the compensation right away. We spent 1 day and 1 night left in the hospital and hotel room cos they both still got diarrhoea. We need to strongly complain.

Quite a lot of insects, some came into the room. But it was given on a mountain.

The location and friendliness of the staff were pivota. I particularly enjoyed the design and facilities. I would also recommend the entire area around the hotel for restaurants and bars.

There is nothing to dislike. The place is unique.

Breakfast was great. But Cook staffs looked tired and so one cook didn't wear a hat.

I need a gym but I can't find itSpa close too early and so expensive.There is no gift for men in the souvenir shop.
