Manuela Suites Puerto Princesa near Airport

Met an extremely kind and welcoming owner, who helped me navigate through the area and gave me tips on where to go, truly grateful for that kindness ?

The rooms are good and comfortable. The staffs are so nice and helpful. But Manuela don’t like loud voices on the room aisle

We spent a night there before taking our flight and although we left very early in the morning, the staff was very supportive and flexible. It is very close to the airport and there are restaurants in the area.

Very comfortable room, really helpful staff and good location to Main Street. Cheap breakfast was also a really handy option.

Comfortable, good breakfast, and roof clothes line to dry clothes.

No internet in room- had to go to lobby.

There was a mix up with the booking and we got a room with a double bead instead of two single beds.

The Staff. Hands down the friendliest we have come across in the Philippines. Location is good, room is good size and comfortable.

Very friendly staff, spacious room, breakfast and laundry services available and easy to use. Good wifi and aircon. Location is close to the airport.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. Its situated close to the airport and away from the busy main road, but still within walking distance of some good restaurants. The lady in charge was wonderful and helped us book a tour to the underground river as well as a van transfer to Port Barton. There are some set breakfast options that you can order but weren’t included in the price.

The host (Gina) was forthcoming and helpful.

It's not the cheapest place to stay.

Good location, close to restaurants and services such as currency exchange, laundry, etc. Extremely friendly staff. Very good value for money. Rooms very clean, facilities efficient. Aircon works very well and is quiet. I recommend it!

Margie was incredible. She got up at 2:00 am and help us carry our bags; gave us undivided attention whenever we needed to book trips and order food. She helped with home remedies for our terrible cold and was a joy to be around. Love her! I’ll book there again.

The paid breakfast was not yummy. I don’t recommend it.

The staff/receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. She helped us with directions, places to go, where to find good restaurants and even arranged transportation. The room is spacious enough and clean.

There's no regular TV.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was very clean and we really appreciated that we could leave our luggage at the hotel for free before going to our Balabac tour. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and great service!

It’s somehow renovated and clean

No refrigerator and no credit card payment

Owner was helpful and accommodated our late arrival. Room was very clean. Breakfast was simple but good. We could fill our water bottles. Short walk to the main street.

Barking dog next door in the night. Difficult to communicate with hotel prior to stay. Booking.com messages don’t go to owner, but to OYO corporate and never get reply. Finally, we realized the number on google maps is a WhatsApp, so we contacted her from there.

The owner was lovely, she gave us good advice on where to eat ie Artizan. Booked us a van to El Nido and organized our laundry. Coffee tray downstairs and fresh water dispenser was good. Also, after a long day, snorkeling having Netflix was a welcome relief. Built in 2016 Manuela Suites is clean and purpose built. 2 Small double beds in our twin was positive too. Overall a good 2*

Minor things would have liked a small table between the beds to put drinks etc on, we used a small chair in the room but things kept sliding off..The shower was difficult to regulate and when did the pressure was low, not really a problem but allow extra time if you are in a rush.

Location is good. Inside of residential block but easy access to main road and restaurants. 5-10 min from airport

Too noisy. Rooms have thin door with no corridor, so you can hear everything from the reception and inside yard

Exceptionally clean, amazing hosts, comfortable room

Nearby restaurant Reaf cafe was unreal, the food and staff were absolutely amazing here.

We were told upon arrival there would be airport transport, we were picked up by the hotel bus and we were overcharged an extortionate amount of money for a 5 min drive. We were assigned a room on the ground floor beside the check-in desk and the front door. The noise was constant throughout the day and night. People were talking, dogs barking and noisy traffic. We were frequently disturbed. Given that the hotel was empty, it felt odd that we were placed in such a visable and noisy location beside the reception. Additionally, the room was plagued with mosquitos, and we experienced numerous bites during our stay, making it even more uncomfortable. The curtains were very poor, which allowed a lot of light into the room. The breakfast was very poor, tasteless, and we did not even get the correct orders. When leaving to go to our next destination, our host advised us that she would book us a private van to our next hotel. We were charged 600 each, as we were told it was a higher rate due to it being a private van and it would take us directly to our next hotel with no other stops, Once the van arrived it was full with 5 other passengers. The host then paid the bus driver with less than half the money we gave her and kept the money for herself. This left us feeling taken advantage of due to us being tourists. She also wanted us to take a photo with her, which made us feel uncomfortable. On the journey to the next destination, the "direct" van continued to make serval stops picking up more passengers on our "private" bus. We are very unhappy and would recommend no one to stay due to the dishonesty of the host. We have been travelling in Asia for over 2 months and have never felt taken advantage of or disrespected in any way until now.
