Sunset Resort Mihama

This place exceeded more than I expected. Way better than 5 star hotels. First, the guy who checked me in was very welcoming. The location, the space and cleanliness of this condo were superb. Loved that there's washer&dryer, and vacuum inside the room.

I loved the location of this hotel, having family mart next door was very convenient too.

The only thing I can think of were how firm the beds pillows were.

A comfortable room for family stay, with laundry and kitchen for even more convenience. Great location: less than 10-min walk to American Village streets and pickup point at Lequ for reserved bus tours. Plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, Familymart, in 2-3 minutes walk. Bus stop nearby so getting to Naha or going North is also convenient.

LOCATION, washer and dryer, nice toilet and strong shower pressure, nice little kitchen with a decent size refrigerator.

The couch cushioning is shot. Holes in the couch and you can feel the springs and wood frame when you sit down.

Great location near many good restaurants and American Village.

Shower drain tended to clog up.

I liked that there was a kitchen.

There were ants everywhere. And I found mens underwear below the sink.

Great value for the location. The room itself was very cozy and nice. Great location, easy walking distance to food and pleasant walk along sea wall to American Village. We would return stay, adjusting to the issues that we have listed.

We found parts of the floor was dirty, but not a deterrent as we wore slippers/socks anyways. Worst thing for us was the bed and pillows were hard as a rock, with no "give" at all. We purchased 2 new foam pillows. Being next to the main road was a little annoying with the groups of motorcycles riding up and down the street at midnight-early hours.

Wonderful stay! The only draw back would be the noise late night (motorcycles) and morning (aircrafts). Very close by to nearby restaurants and convenience store. The room was spacious and amenities are more than enough! Would recommend this location unless you are a light sleeper!

As stated above, the noise. Parking might be an issue as well as there is 8 spots on a first come first serve.

My room had everything. It’s modern too. Close to restaurants and Family mart. Close to Kadena Base and Camp Foster.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Having a washer and drying in the room is a major plus. Overall it's a great option in the Chatan area.

My primary complaint is the noise. Being right on 58, road noise is a bit of a problem. If I were to stay again I would request a higher floor and/or one on the back side of the building. If you're not a light sleeper, this would probably not be a factor. If you are, you may want to consider something further away from 58.The other issue, and this is purely preference, was the pillows. I love traditional Japanese style pillows, but these were too firm for me. I wish there would have been two different style pillows on the bed. That being said, I'm not one to complain, so I never asked the l staff if they had anything different. May be an easy problem to solve.

Very clean and spacious

The beds are very hard for a westerner and very difficult to sleep on.

Heavy traffic noise through out the whole night.

The location was great, but it was not shown on the GPS installed on some old taxi. It may cause disturbance to your trip. The flat is spacious featured with a fully equipped kitchen and washroom. Washing machine and drying machine are available, familymart, pharmacy and restaurants are of walking distance.The only problem is the noise from US military base nearly, which no one can avoid for living near American Village.

The sound insulation can be done better to block the traffic noise and loud noise from American airbase.

Absolutely loved the room. The beds were comfy, there was so much space, and we loved that the hotel thought of everything to make it comfortable. They had silverware/chopsticks in the drawers, a rice maker, in-room washer/dryer, and even had detergent for the washer!

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The room was clean and cozy. I like the equipments provided by hotel, such as washer and dryer. This is convenient for traveling with kids.

The noise comes from the cars on the street is really loud.

i see a cockroach (middle..not small one) and it run into the Counter.I didn`t told to my wife ...if i told to her....it would be very terrible !

The accommodation is only 10 minutes away from the shopping mall。

Sound insulation needs to be improved because there are bosozoku in the middle of the night
