Best Western Okinawa Onna Beach

The location is AMAZE-BALLS!

Rocky Beach - mandatory to bring water shoes; Breakfast is OK; not very impressed! Rooms face the beach, beautiful views.

There is not much around the hotel. You have a car rental to go everywhere. The food is not so good in the hotel.

I could still hear traffic noise. No signs to indicate do not disturb for house keeping. Was trying to sleep in but had to answer the doors for cleaning staff banging on doors.

The staff were incredible. Kind and attentive, but never bothersome.

Good location and easy to find parking.

The only gripe is that the private beach could use more sand, seems like the recent storms have washed a lot of away. But it is still enjoyable.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the sea and a nice pool overall.

It was clear that the hotel was somewhat outdated, with some features and elements showing significant wear and tear.

- The cleaning staff were very hospitable. They clean the rooms and change the towels everyday.- Breakfast had a good selection and they were trying not to be wasteful with food. They would change a couple dishes on different days. - They gave us towels for our baby. A lot of other hotels don't give extra towels for toddlers. - The parking lot is spacious and the room is spacious. - The beach next to the hotel was the highlight of this place.

- It's far from everything else. You need transportation to get to the closest restaurant or convenience store. - We stayed for 4 nights. They would make the beds, but they didn't change our sheets.

Great value. Small but sufficient facilities, good meals and direct access to the sea.

I wish they had more lunch options. If you want to have lunch at the hotel, the only option is to order a pizza or buy instant noodles at the lobby.

The breakfast was varied both western and japanese choices and pretty delicious

Could have been off season but we really did need to drive out quite a ways in the evenings just to get dinner as there were not many restaurants in the vicinity

The beach at high tide was incredible.

I wish there were chairs and umbrellas. Also, more eating options along with a bar that is open all day.

The beach and views are amazing. Great spot for walking along the beach road and not too far from restaurants. Spacious rooms (especially for Japan). Warm friendly staff. Very quiet hotel in general.

The food offered at the restaurant was not in line with the price.

The room is supper clean. The buffets were pretty good. The staff were very nice and helpful. But, it's kind of a little out of the way from many activities we were doing. There are no public transportation. People need to rent a car in order to go wherever they want to go. However, I will stay here again when I come again.

Nice beach , breakfast staff very helpful , quiet hotel, but sadly the rooms feel dated like they are stuck in the 80s . Could be a great hotel with some TLC and some facilities added like spa, gym, sauna etc for poor weather days.

Limited facilities , rooms feel dated. Rooms are not as good as they look in the photos .Lunch options are very limited and quite basic.

Great location right on the beach, although the enclosed beach was very shallow. But some of the best beaches on the island are not far away. For those who don’t know, public transportation on Okinawa is limited, and a rental car is necessary. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast

This seems to be an older facility, but very well maintained. It’s a 1 Hour drive from the airport, probably much longer by bus.

Not so big, became familiar with staff. Quiet. Very nice beach and the view of beach and ocean was fantastic.

A little bit far from main roads and bus routes, infrequent bus service.

Good parking

The hotel is average condition, view of mangrove and shrub from level 1 rooms. Beach out front ok. Pool much smaller than pictures. All surrounding beaches for a few kilometers inaccessible due to being chained off. No access to restaurant supermarket or cafe by foot. You need a car. Restaurant on premises is ok, not great.

The rooms and bathrooms are decent size. There is space to move around the room and bathroom which was nice. Also vending machine in the hotel is good. Location is a bit far from everything so definitely recommend to get a car (you need international drivers license even to rent a scooter!!) Not too much in walking distance. The beach was cute but not a beach chair or bench to actually sit and watch the ocean.Rooms had nice ocean view from the third floor. The staff at the reception was nice and helpful and cleaning was also excellent every day.

No bar at the hotel so you cant just get a drink when you arrive or feel like one. Also no real lunch available. breakfast and dinner is buffet style. We had it a few times because its hard to find restaurants around the area with no car. The food was ok. Another thing i found strange is that no sitting is provided at the beach. Not one chair or bench to relax by the water.The restaurant staff constantly wanted to overcharge us. the buffet is cheaper when you make a reservation so make sure you are getting the cheaper price when you sign as we had to correct them many times regarding the real price.

The proximity to the beach was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was superb! We really enjoyed getting out of the city and playing in the ocean.

It was a bit difficult finding somewhere to eat during the middle of the day. We had to drive a bit if we were eating outside of lunch or dinner time. However, the hotel did have a restaurant and we eventually found a small market that was open.

Such a beautiful beach. Fabulous staff. Superb leisurely breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Even the pjs fitted me

The room was spacious, the hotel was a cheaper alternative, the beach was right next to it, so on a sunny warm day it would be great. The vending machines were a nice extra.

The pool was very cold, the breakfast had a strange variety, the staff were barely speaking English which I would understand if it wasn't an international tourist destination. The location is quite far from other social attractions, however, if you like to walk, you can see the island while getting there. In general the hotel seemed outdated and quite empty although the season had already begun. We changed the hotels for the last night in Okinawa.
