    Pros +

    • Access to the Executive lounge through the day provided access to snacks and drinks. The heated pool and slides were enjoyed by the kids.
    • The hotel pool area was large and had several options, including a lazy river and water slides. There was also a pool off to the side for adults. There is a small but nice beach just across the street. The lobby offers snacks and drinks (including wine and beer) in the afternoon for the guests which was an unexpected treat. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was one of the largest ones I've seen on island. It was great with a variety of options - it was crowded, but they turned tables quickly and got people into the dining area. For us, it was the perfect place for a stay-cation. Note that it is in a beautiful but out of the way area. If you stay here to see sights in Okinawayou would be removed from most of them and would need a car. We would come back here again to treat ourselves for a stay cation.
    • Our 5 nights at Cape Zanpa exceeded all expectations. We were travelling from Australia with two young boys who couldnt believe their eyes when they saw the pools and waterslides. In Sept/Oct it was hot but the pools and sea were perfect for day and night swimming until 10pm, note the pools close earlier (6pm) from the start of Oct. The lazy river was great fun for all. Plenty of loungers and shade options, and even a large adults pool which always had loungers available while we were there. Pool lifeguards were strict on kids not being in the pool without an adult. Staff were friendly and helpful, most spoke at least some english, although the majority of guests were Japanese families. Room was large and well-equipped for a family with 4 separate beds and a bathtub. Magical sunset views from the balcony. Great range of inclusions, from the waterslides, inflatable course and beach umbrellas to complimentary snacks and drinks (beer, wine, spririts and soft drinks). Restaurant across the road from the hotel was also excellent. Would def recommend having a rental car to make the most of Okinawa. We also visited the Churuami aquarium (best ive visited), went snorkelling at Bise (can rent gear there for a few hundred yen) and did a tour of the Orion Brewery.

    Cons -

    • The location was isolated from other main attractions.
    • I'm really nit picking here: The balconies are set up to have great views, but they are small. You also have to plan around crowds, for example, around prime breakfast or dinner times you might find a wait at the elevators. There were one or two restaurants within walking distance if you didn't want to eat everything at the hotel, but for more options you would need a car. This didn't bother us because we were there to enjoy the facilities (and we live in Okinawa and have a car anyway).
    • The only improvements from my point of view would be having more elevators - there was always a wait. Also more reasonably priced food options, but typical of large hotels.

Beautiful pool and the breakfast was great.

The hotel did not communicate how breakfast worked and we ended up sitting for 1.5hr waiting for a table. Make sure to get on wait list in room.

The hotel has very good pools, great sliders and a beach with games for kids and some acuatic activities. The sea is a calm pool here. We prefer a little bit of waves to play. Breakfast buffet was great but very very crowded.

Only one person from the staff was very nice (Kim at the front desk). The rest does not even look at you when you request something. The hotel seems to be badly managed. Breakfast was very crowded and we had to line up for 40 minutes. It seems the infrastructure is insufficient for high season dates. The location is terrible, in the middle of nowhere. Everything at the hotel was overpriced for the value delivered. We were lucky to find a family restaurant located at a golf club within 5 minutes walking, with great food and spectacular service.

Great breakfast selection and lots of activities to do as a family - beach, pool, water slides, table tenis. The nature around is nice. The drinks and snacks in the evening and mid afternoon are a good touch.

The hotel has some areas refurbished others are still being done. The bedroom was a bit old for the price paid. Not easy to get around without a car. The dinner buffet price was ridiculously expensive. You should consider all inclusive if you can, only 2 other restaurants around.

Happy hour drinks and snacks! Fantastic slides, rapids pool, close to beach with activities included - like inflatables!!Great time and great food.

Over an hour to the hotel from the airport with bad traffic.

Open bar. Pajama accommodations and especially the breakfast.

    Mattress was a bit hard

The breakfast room is spacious and offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. Highly recommend this hotel for breakfast lovers—there are plenty of options to satisfy your cravings. Additionally, the hotel's lobby is grand and beautifully designed. At night, there's also a bar where complimentary drinks are served.

The room we received did not match the photos displayed on Booking.com. Although the size of the room was close to what was specified on the website, it seemed like the hotel had assigned us an older, non-renovated room. As a result, the furnishings and amenities in the room were outdated and not very comfortable.

Well furnished, clean, feels new. The staff is reactive and friendly. We love the heated pool, the slides. The sweets provided at the lounge was a nice touch. The hotel feels modern, comfortable and not overly crowded, unlike other resorts. Highly recommended

The breakfast buffet had a huge variety from pancakes, smoothies, breads, salad, fish, as well as a lot of local Okinawan flavors and Japanese dishes. I was pleasantly surprised by the sparkling wine. We also enjoyed the complimentary snack and drinks in the afternoon.

The futon was a bit thin and uncomfortable.

Great pool area with slides, glad they were still open in November as most hotels close their pools. Staff was nice and the free lounge in the afternoons/evenings were a bonus (alcohol and snacks). Free parking.

Rooms were aged and dusty. We stayed 2 nights and didn’t get housekeeping service, just a bag of towels, more toothbrushes and water which is fine but wish they would have checked/taken our trash.

    9SilviaPosted on: 10-21-2024

Great facility, super cool slides and water park, beach side is beautiful and they offer free beer and snacks during the day and evening.

The restaurant does not offer vegetarian options and is too expensive.

    10GiovanniPosted on: 10-21-2024

Free poolside bar, free access to the beach attractions and the water park. Room was great with amazing view

    10LauraPosted on: 9-29-2024

The hotel was very clean and had great amenities, including a drink bar, afternoon snacks, and a breakfast buffet.

It was very expensive for one night and I didn't like that the hotel wasn't right on the beach.

    8IfyPosted on: 9-15-2024

Was a great decor, complimentary nibbles and drinks in the evenings, great selection for breakfast to suit many needs. The pools were really nice especially the slides however no deep ends and mostly catered to children not much option for adults

No access to smart tv even though the tv had ability to be used. Nothing to entertain while in room.

    10AnnePosted on: 9-2-2024

We loved our stay here! The pool and water slides were awesome and a hit for the kids and adults! The hotel staff was helpful and abundant. The included drink bar and snack hours were a great bonus!

It’s so beautiful ! Staffs are brilliant! Swimming pool and beach is so much fun! Bath is amazing! There are shops inside!

    3MandyPosted on: 8-11-2024

The hotel is not entirely ready for operation yet

A few of the major hotel facilities including the pool area and certain hotel rooms are still under renovation and development. It’s basically swimming near a construction site and the pool is not properly maintained with paints peeled off etc. Certain hotel rooms are very old and not refurbished, have very poor air-conditioning.

    8StanleyPosted on: 7-30-2024

The room size is good for families , there is public bath and swimming pools. Room is clean and breakfasts.was good too as well as the open bar

WiFi is weak , TV connected to Netflix didn’t work, not enough furniture in the room even through room is big, a lot of areas in the hotel are unfinished renovated yet, No spa nor pool side drink serving , there are a lot of small details that need to be improved
