Pros +
- Onsen
- Onsen and the many restaurant choices were nice with a decent selection for breakfast. I liked having the grab and go bakery option for off hours.
- I liked the pool for my son, the friendly and helpful parking police, and the shops across from the lobby.
Cons -
- About everything. Hotel is extremely dirty, dust everywhere. Zero value stay away as much as you can
- This is a very large hotel that attracts big tour groups close to the port of Naha. It could use a significant renovation and redesign of the common areas. The hotel is lacking a comfortable lounge area to sit and work within an otherwise enormous lobby. It would be a good idea to sell half of the hotel and focus on a tighter operation and renovate the common areas - particularly the gym, pool, and restaurants. The shops were not high quality and could be replaced by a proper common area and/or coffee shop. I was confused by the 2 different (huge) breakfast areas which had nearly the exact same menu. Feels like it should be divided into 2 hotels with different price points and some shared amenities.
- The room had no kitchenette, small balcony, and was too touristy honestly my mistake for that i didnt know when i booked it

Close to airport. Staff friendly.
Property outdated. Slight smell of mildew.
Good staff comfortable onsen!
Food a bit expensive.
I liked the guidance of the Nepalese stuff. They saved my trip especially one Nepalese in front desk. I told him that last time they gave me room far away from main gate and need to walk a lot. He suggested to add extra money to get room in the main building which has elevator with direct access to front desk and swimming pool.
Nepalese stuff are awesome and helped me a lot.
Front desk space Nepalese stuff
Not clean in annex building
Loisir Hotel Naha was a great hotel. The included Onsen was perfect and the pool kept the kids happy albeit it was a shallow pool and filled with lots of kids and parents in floats. Room size was huge by Japan standards and kept immaculately clean. 7-eleven onsite (closed at 12 though) made post Onsen renourishment easy and some decent restaurants within walking distance. Onsite parking was great but the staff were all super helpful, friendly and attentive. Laundry was always crowded but adequate. Machines were new and offered wash dry service. We didn’t try the onsite restaurant but it looked good. Nightly drum dance poolside was a cool touch and poolside BBQ was also available.
Pool was shallow and the floor was SUPER abrasive. But the kids enjoyed cooling off in it.
Good location in Naha, good sized rooms
Refusal of access to spa with tattoos
Big rooms and a good variety of breakfast foods.
It’s a little run down. Needs a bit of an update.
It was kid friendly! They have baby bath tub, kids toilet seat, stand, and many other things to use! Just tell the staffs when check in.
Food… the buffet restaurant was not as good as I expected. They didn’t even have coffee machine.
Happy hour in Skybar. Good valur for money. Otherwise ok but not more than that. Next time I would choose hotel in citycenter.
We enjoyed our stay. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable as well. I believe they had feathers and my daughter was sneezing all night. The room was well played out and the bathroom was nice. We appreciated the water bottles as well. I was disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed. Online when I booked it was supposed to be open.
The thermal baths are super, the rooms are big and modern.
The location is near the airport, but a bit far away from anything else, the surroundings are also not lively...The breakfast a bit limited and repetitive if you stay for some days.
Mixed feelings about this hotel, the entrance was very nice, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. However, the room was severely outdated, with dusty vents in the bathroom. The beds were very hard, as they are in many hotels in Japan. The breakfast was nice, but they played the same songs over and over again every day, and it was very loud. Also we went to swim, but nobody told us the outside pool would be closed. Location is good since you are very close to the airport and Kokusai Street is just a short walk away. I dont think we will stay here again unfortunately. Definitely not four star worthy.
The location is great — close to many attractions but just far enough to avoid the noise. Most places are within walking distance or a quick taxi ride away, making it convenient without being chaotic.
The overall experience left something to be desired. There were long lines for nearly everything — from check-in to breakfast. This is clearly a massive property that caters primarily to large tour groups, and it shows. If you're looking for a more intimate, personalized hotel experience, this may not be the right fit.In hindsight, I would have preferred a smaller hotel where guests are treated as individuals rather than just another number among the crowd.
Room 1206. Staff were professional. Breakfast area (Lv1) like a staff canteen and comfy. Menu is the same, food is good. 7-11 (Lv1) in the building but not 24 hours. First time seeing an electric oven and ice cube dispenser along the corridor (really nice). Not the sea view but facing Japan Coast Guard's carpark (still a good view). There is a local supermarket nearby (Nishinomachi Market). Thumbs up for altenate days room cleaning (my room don't need that much cleaning).
Location maybe a bit off. It's a 15 mins walk without shelter. Check-in time is 3pm and it lead to a big crowd and a queue.
Leaving, 3 nights felt like I was there for a month!
FOREIGNER AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is pitiful, I have the DELUXE room which is an outdated 90's room with disgusting features such as the vent (see pictures) broken things. Beds are hard like rock, pillows are super thin, my first impression when I sat on the bed was like sitting on a box spring! And the terrasse is no other than a simple balcony with a 50$ patio set that any American can buy at Walmart!Heavy smell of diesel from the balcony! I have never seen the word deluxe being associated with such an awful place!Like this is not enough for the price, if you have tattoos you will not be allowed to the pool or other services where your ink might be revealed. It's 2025 and I think it's bout time that Japanese people realize that there is no white Yakuza. This place is overrated and judgmental and I will never come here again! In a nutshell, I deeply regret my choice!
room 830 breakfast was more than I expected will utilize again in future travels location was far from the center but made for a comfort walk. taxis readily available once leaving hotel and front desk was quick and efficient plus the check out process hope to have more experience with this hotel in the future.
Good breakfast, and handy to town and airport.
Baggage had to be collected by 3.00 p.m. This shortened our sightseeing and and gave us longer to sit and wait for our flight. We would be unlikely to return to Loisir as all other hotels have looked after our luggage until it suited us to pick it up.
